They do excellent work, the office is adorable with arcade games that are great if you have to wait for a bit. Also I get compliments on my teeth all the time! I brought my daughter in for a consult for braces and the first thing i noticed was how incredibly friendly the staff is and how clean the office was. They took us back 20 min early and they were very thorough on explaining the process. Mike Hilgers is very warm and friendly he makes you feel very comfortable with the process. What a great experience! Dr. Mike and his staff are awesome. This is the 4th person in our family to get braces and it has been another great experience. The doctor and the tech were so gentle, kind and professional with my daughter. They took so much time to explain what they were doing and teach her how to properly care for her teeth while in braces. Even as an adult, going to the orthodontist was not the highest priority but I wasn't to ensure I had a positive experience that I could tell my friends and family about. The "New Orleans' theme environment adds a fun feeling to the experience with games and music along with local news and other items available to keep you engaged as you wait for yur appointment. The staff remembers your name for ever appointment and as you are escorted to your chair, everyone speaks and says hello because they truly appreciate you as a customer and a part of their business. I can speak from experience with braces, retainers, etc as a kid, everyone wants the orthodontist visit to be painless and fun. The staff makes sure you are comfortable and engaged so even if it is a little painful, you don't notice at all. Every kid I saw there was wearing a smile on their face from the time they arrived to the time they left and that speaks highly of the entire team. Even being escorted to the chair, the best part of my visit was Dr. Hilgers. He greets every patient with a smile and ensures that he gives his personal best service every time. He is very thorough in explaining all procedures and ensure that the the quality of care you receive gets the best results not to mention a beautiful smile. As I left for, each staff member thanked me for visiting their office and made me feel like I couldn't wait for my net visit. By the time I left, I was smiling and wanted to tell all of my co-workers and friends that Dr. Hilgers has the best orthodontic office I have ever experienced and all of their family should have the same experience. Love, Love, Love Dr. Hilgers. My daughter just got her braces off and we are extremely happy. She was able to get a free clear retainer for good hygiene through the process. They were always prompt and on time no need to show up early, basically walk in and she would be taken. And out by promised time. Convenient location and appt times Office staff was all very friendly. No snoots here like a lot of offices. We were referred and I forwarded on the referral. 2 children, 2 sets of braces each, nearly $20,000.00 invested. They did not finish my first childs braces to completion bc we could not agree on the look of his smile. Dr Hilgers was demeaning, rude, and our family was unable to complete treatment at Hilgers facility. As an educated woman, I am shocked at how belittled my son and I were while sitting in a treatment chair at Hilgers Ortho. It is a rarity in today's world to find a small business like Hilgers Orthodontics, that understands the importance of giving back to their local community. When it was time for my brother to receive orthodontic treatment I quickly called Hilgers Orthodontics and scheduled an appointment even though the office is thirty minutes away. When I walked into the office with him we were both blown away by the quality and kindness of the staff. Every employee greeted every parent/patient with a smile. I can't tell you how many times staff took the time to come out to the lobby to update parents on the status of their child's process. Patients and siblings were able to use a free video arcade and parents could enjoy a free internet cafe while waiting. I could not believe the lengths this office goes to make everyone feel comfortable and happy. When my brother got called in to put together a treatment plan, Tanya quickly started asking him questions about himself since I know she could see his anxiety heighten. When she heard he played high school baseball she quickly asked him if he would let her know when games were and that she would love to watch him play. I was just amazed at her kindness. Then it was time for Dr. Hilgers to come in and speak with us. My brother is a Junior in high school and he is really bothered by the idea of having braces when starting college.
