From the moment I started planning our wedding, I knew we needed this petting zoo! It did not disappoint. I made our save the dates, invitations, table numbers, cake toppers, etc. with little animals everywhere--which I don't think many people cared about except for me--but EVERYONE loved holding the animals! Our friends and relatives thought it was the coolest thing, which is correct, it was the coolest thing. We got the "chinchilla upgrade"--worth it, as Houdini the chinchilla is the softest little dude ever and so funny to have him (her?) jump between people's hands. My favorite animals were probably the bunnies (especially Beans and Skippy--I miss y'all), although I also loved the guinea pig because of how cute their little sounds were and the way they sucked up lettuce like a little vacuum cleaner, and the bearded dragon, who is both incredibly soft and spiny and cool (literally, as in cold blooded). Basically everything was amazing. It goes without saying that the staff were professional, on time, communicative, etc. No issues. My new wife wants me to write that her favorite animals were the chicks because they were so tiny and soft, and they fell asleep in her hand. And also how could I forget to include Jasmine, the fluffiest white silkie chicken to ever exist???? Incredible. I didn't know there were chickens that were actually nice. For what it's worth, we had about 45 adults present and they stayed busy with the animals for almost the whole hour and a half that we booked the petting zoo (it got slow at the end, but that meant more animals for me to hold). I thought this was a once in a lifetime event, but definitely not. I will absolutely be booking Tiny Tails to you for all my major birthdays and any other celebrations in the future. Hailey arrived on time and was very friendly! She was able to manage our party of 5 very effectively. We had a small party so all of the kids were able to enjoy themselves and the animals without any limits on time. We felt very safe enjoying the animals outside and the kids loved it! If you're looking for something to keep the kids entertained and where they can be safe I highly recommend them even during this time! We had an amazing experience having Tiny Tails at my son's 3rd birthday party. The booking process is very streamlined and efficient, as was Lucia when she came for the event. It was such a hit and really made our party amazing. She was great at accommodating my son's birthday diva antics and making sure the rest of the kids had ample turns. The amazing Kelly S highlighted Tiny Tails in a "best of" list, and I knew immediately that I wanted to book them for a friend's birthday I was hosting. Booking online was super easy: just choose your package, date, time, and list a few animals you'd like to see. I received an email the same day with details and a link to make a deposit. The day of the party Tiny Tails arrived a few minutes early for setup and then it was on! Our party of 20 adults spent an hour freaking out over adorable baby animals, and everything was perfect. The only thing that I wish I had known was that they can totally set up inside your house if you have the space, which I definitely recommend if you're having them come out in the summer. read more

These folks really helped us hit our daughter's 3rd B-day out of the park. February means little or no outdoor birthday fun, so we found this company who does an indoor/outdoor petting zoo. Chicks, bunnies, chinchillas, even a hedgehog. Well prepared, they came with the animals in baskets, set up a tarp and pen, then each round of kids (4-6 at a time) sit on stools with a piece of carpet on their laps for the animals. Kids of all ages couldn't get enough of it. Two people were constantly monitoring the kids & animals to make sure everybody was cool. Watching the kids reactions was the best part, of course: "Would you like to see a bunny?" "Yes." "Then look under your seat." (big grin) Lots of smiles, no freak outs or escapees (kids or animals - again, well monitored), and lots to talk about afterward. We have concrete floors, so inside worked great, but with carpet, I'd perhaps think twice about setting up in the living room. That being said, no animal accidents hit our floor. Great service, nice folks, showed up on time, well run operation. I'd recommend them to anyone, as our experience was really great. read more

This review is long overdue. Let's be honest. 90% of the internet is animal videos. Cats, ducks, rabbits, puppies, sloths and otters (OTTERS!). Now, Tiny Tails might not have an otter, but they've got the most adorable babies anyone has ever clasped their little paws on. Sure, you can have a baby animal petting zoo at your kids party. And that's cool. but what about having cocktails and baby bunnies? It's like you've somehow unleashed everyones secret soft spot. They're snuggling and cooing and trying to stuff bunnies into their bras. That can be awkward but the fact remains that everyone -- no matter how old -- loves a baby animal. Let's not forget the baby chinchillas and hedgehogs and turtles and duckies and all the others I haven't tried to smuggle away. Chelsea and crew are so sweet and patient. In fact, the first time I found them, I totally snagged them for a party the next day because I had to have those snuggly little rascals at my event. The animals -- not the staff. Though they're quite nice too. They're super portable and it's a really easy set up. Just need to make sure they've got a space that's big enough for rampaging adults to get their inner child on. read more

I have 3 (4,8 and 9) kids all of whom love animals. We have had many petting zoo parties through out the years and i must say we enjoyed tiny tails to you the best. All three of the petting zoos brought cute animals but the difference this time was the service. The people were great and really engaged the kids. They showed up 20 minutes early for a bachelorette party with little kids around, brought several bunnies, a hedgehog, some chicks, a bearded dragon! All very sweet animals and the lady who was helping us hold them properly taught us about the animals and their habits and was a real joy. Not just for children! Best 37th Birthday Party possible: all adults, set up in my kitchen, everyone with a critter. Squeals of delight for two solid hours (from the ladies and the men), fantastic pictures, and my friends still gush about it. Tired of going out to dinner or just meeting for drinks? Hold a bunny! Too hot/cold for a cookout? Don't want to worry about massive cleanup afterwards? They bring a drop cloth and lap blankets so your house & clothes stay clean. Never got that petting zoo party you wanted as a little kid (or you did and the animals were stinky and weird)? Four words for you: basket of bunny rabbits. It was super easy to schedule the party, you get your choice of animals (depending on which kinds are available), and the price is a total bargain. Tiny Tails staff are professional, friendly, and understands the personalities of all the animals in their care. OH MY GOD THE ANIMALS! Mellow, used to being around people, and it would be beyond the laws of physics to get any more adorability into their bodies. Even the tortoise and the bearded dragon--not normally what you think of as cuddly critters--were super cool and interactive. A couple of friends couldn't make it to my party last year and the pouty looks I got from them are enough for me to have Tiny Tails to You do my 38th birthday party too (yeah, like I needed an excuse). read more

What a wonderful experience for our kinder students in southwest Austin. The three Tiny Tails teachers showed up punctually in a massive rainstorm, brought two zoos worth of animals in, set up in two classrooms, and were ready to go, right on time. They were patient, well-informed, and good at pacing their lessons appropriately for six kinder classes. I would totally recommend Tiny Tails for school visits; they did an amazing job! We hired Tiny Tails to You! for a children's party this weekend and they were FABULOUS. Loved Chelsea and Joe and their wonderful animals. They were on time, well organized, great with the kids, great with adults, and their animals were all as sweet as can be. We would hire them again in a minute! We had the pleasure of meeting the folks and animals of Tiny Tails at a recent community event. What an incredibly precious and creative business idea. They bring tiny and smaller animals to you. We were able to hold a hedgehog, bunny, bearded dragon, guinea pig, turtle and baby chick. The kiddos loved it! Tiny Tails recently restarted on-site visits for small gatherings, and we decided to take advantage of it for our daughter's 10th birthday. The team set up outside, instructed the kids and us how to self-service animal swapping to minimize contact, and provided fun facts about the animals throughout our hour. Masks were worn by all and hand sanitizer readily available. This was a much needed respite during our quarantine, especially for the kids. Cannot thank and recommend enough! read more

What a well-run event this company puts on! Jamie showed up right on time and quickly set up. She explained to the kids (ranging in ages from 1.5 to 9) a bit about the animals and the rules for holding them. She brought bunnies, a chinchilla, a baby hedgehog, a bearded dragon, tortoise, leopard gecko and some teeny tiny chicks. 5 kids at a time sit in the fenced area and get to hold animals. Then after a while Jamie guides them out and other kids get a turn. We had 10 kids and one hour was perfect. The littlest ones lost interest the quickest but the 5 and ups stuck around for a while. All in all a great party activity that's perfect for boys and girls of all ages (and even grown ups!) read more

I work at a residential psychiatric facility for adolescents. We have had TTTY visit us 3 times in the past year. All 3 times we had different TTTY staff but they have all been very knowledgeable and wonderful with our patients. Our patients and employees LOVED seeing, holding, petting, and learning about all the different animals. We could see in some of their faces and eyes how much fun they were having. Our patients struggle with many issues, but all of them responded positively to TTTY. They spoke about the visits for weeks afterwards! For our initial visit, I communicated with Chelsea via email to create a program that would work for our facility. She was very understanding and flexible and we loved the result! We got a chance to visit the Tiny Tails to You petting zoo when they had a free day at The Coffee Trailer this past weekend. It was pretty cool. As everyone else had already said, they had rabbits, chickens, a chinchilla, a hedgehog and a guinea pig. They set up a circular pen which had stools for people to sit on and a patches of carpet to put the animals on when holding them. They lady was super nice, knowledgeable, and encouraged the kids to come into the pen and hold the animals. My 16 month old was able to walk around and touch each of the animals at will. It was very well monitored and all the animals were friendly. It was a drizzly day and she still brought the animals out for free and kept an eye on they to make sure they didn't get too wet. She brought some paper towels for any accidents and had lots of hand sanitizer for everyone to use when they were done. read more

Not only was Katie on time but she was early and super quick setting up. The space fit comfortably in my 1-car garage and it was the first thing people saw when they walked up to my house. Katie was patient and loving with the kids and animals. She made sure everyone got a turn and managed the stress of a small crowd professionally. "This was the greatest fun and idea at a child's party ever" ~ from a parent who came to our house We don't do many "big" things for kids parties, but recently we decided to hire Tiny Tails from our great experiences with them at community events, like Cat Hollow Park festivals, and we were thoroughly pleased. For our party, it rained that day... so we needed to adapt and move things inside. No problem for Tiny Tails! Gabby of Tiny Tails showed up on time and set up with ease. She brought a myriad of fun animals for many of the kids to enjoy. She brought: a tortoise, hedgehog, chicks, rabbits, guinea pig, blue tongue skate, a bearded dragon and a few others. ALL of the kids were the most focused and quiet I had ever seen when she was there introducing the animals with the birthday girl. It was a fun time and a memory that will last with us and with the kids. Overall, I cannot recommend them enough. Gabby was great. She came in on time, set up in our house (including protective tarp), controlled the excitement of the kids, and kept them informed and educated. What a unique experience! I hired Tiny Tails for my son's 5th birthday and the kids were blown away by the unique animals- especially the bearded dragon lizard and hedgehog! Our zoo organizer was very patient with the kids and kept up with their endless requests to trade the animals. I read online that the animals are fed an organic diet. You can tell that they are loved and respected. read more

So there was a disagreement on which animals would be best for my sons birthday and tiny tails offered only small domestics. So he cancelled to get bigger animals and I guess the policy is refunding half of the over three hundred we paid. Needless to say I was disappointed but not regretting the cancellation. We just had Tiny tails for our son's 2 yr birthday and he loved it! The people were wonderful with the kids and the event went incredibly smoothly. I would highly recommend them for children's birthday parties.
