Our son absolutely loved this place and so did we. I've never seems such an entertaining park like this one. You walk through a path of various dinosaurs and at some areas they have Mimi Dino's for your child to ride on. Then at the end there is a park your child can play in for a while. Definitely need to visit this place.

All around epic! We probably would have never known about this place if it wasn't for the fact that it was located 5 mins from the hotel we were staying at. 20-30 mins outside of Austin sits every little dinosaur kids dream. This place has a massive gift shop, two great playscapes, and a wonderful dinosaur trail consisting of small and massive dinosaurs. It even has ones that kids can climb and ride. We came right at opening, and by the time we left, the lot was full. The trail took about 25 mins but I'm sure it can be much longer if you have a kid wanting to explore. We finished our morning off with some play time and a lunch at the picnic tables. The perfect morning before heading to our hotel.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this park, but I was really pleasantly surprised. There is a store that you enter through to pay, and it's stocked with dinosaur toys, figures, and strangely, Jurassic Park merch. Then go out back to see a giant playground, but if you go to the left, you'll see a pathway with two statues. There is a long walking trail filled with dinosaur statues, signs, and other neat things for the kids to explore. I was surprised at how nice-looking several of the dinosaur molds were. It's also a decent walk with some sporadic shade trees, so go in the morning when it's cooler. It was a fun experience that kids will love.

Went here for my birthday as my friends came from out of town to celebrate with us! Our kiddos had such a good time watching the dinosaurs and therefore my heart just felt full of looking at their smiles, we definitely did core memories here. Came on a Saturday and it was not full of people, just the right amount and the trail has a good distance, we made it in 2 hours because toddlers lol

This place is perfect for little kids with a love of dinosaurs. There is a walking trail with multiple sculptures of dinosaurs, informational signs about the dinosaurs, and some "spot the..." areas. There are also a few small dinos that the kids are allowed to pose with or climb on! The trail was longer than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. When your kids are done walking the trail, they can play in the fossil dig area or enjoy the two playscapes. There is also some covered picnic table seating. Pricing wise kids under 2 are free. For 2 adults and 2 kids, it was $48. If you are bringing a stroller, be aware that the trail is unpaved, but fairly level in most places. Also, as you might expect, be prepared to exit through the gift shop. One hot tip: bring 75 cents in quarters and you can make the dinos in the gift shop rawr! We highly recommend this place!

What a cool little hidden ish gem! Awesome trail with different size dinosaurs around. It's really so magical if your kiddos love Dino's like mine. The toy shop is also pretty neat because all dinosaur stuff.

Dinos are in at our house so finding this dinosaur park was the highlight of my week! 1 very energetic 2 year old + a dinosaur themed walking trail + free parking= a very happy momma. We entered through the gift shop and immediately my son was stoked. Dinosaur toys everywhere and life sized Dino figures excite you for the trail ahead. We pay for our wristbands and head to the walking trail. They've got 2 different little playgrounds, an area to dig up 'fossils', picnic tables, and benches. The trail itself was so much fun. There were dinosaurs sprawled out every few feet. My partner and I were taken back by how huge some of the dinos were! Absolutely recommend the dinosaur park for a fun and different activity for your kiddos over the weekend! Make sure to bring lunch and water! We got here at 10:30 and left around 12:30 so it's an amazing way to kill a couple hours :)

It's pretty cool for kids. Admission for adults is $11. Kids $10 and under 2 free so it isn't cheap. With that said, the Dino trail takes close to 40 minutes to walk with kids. I'm guessing its 3/4 of a mile long but has lots of cut backs while walking through and lots of photo ops. They have some cute baby dinos with saddles that kids can take pics on which is fun. I think most of the dinos are accurate to size, but it's hard to tell and along the trail there are quite a few fun facts. They also have a few playgrounds which can also entertain the kids and a few benches with shade so you you don't get overly hot during the summer. Inside they have tons and tons of dino toys that your kids will have to walk through in order to enter/exit. They allow external food. We were there for a birthday party and had pizza, cake and non alcoholic drinks. Not sure what the rule is on alcohol. If you are in the area, certainly worth a visit. Is it worth an hour drive from Leander or round rock - probably especially on a cool day.

My wife and I were invited to a birthday party that was being held at this location. We had never heard of it before. It's probably 20ish/30 minutes from Downtown Austin. Arriving, we didn't know what to expect. I personally am a huge dinosaur fan so the concept and everything was super attractive for me. The Park has an indoor space where you can check in, use the restroom or buy snacks and souvenirs. Once you're done purchasing tickets and anything else all of the activities are outside. Definitely a lot of photo ops!! They have a "Dino Dig" area where kids could dig for "fossils" that was pretty cool. They also have a jungle gym with misters surrounding it. I'm grateful that the birthday party was under a big pavilion. By 10:30 (start of the party) it was scorching outside. The shade definitely helped. We did walk the Dino-Trail which had a number of great dinosaur statues and also panels of educational facts right next to each. It's shaded throughout, but was still hot so be sure to take some water with you. If there were a couple points of feedback for the business I would give they would be: 1) Consider some type of speaker system throughout the park that can play "jungle" or "dinosaur-like" noises throughout. There wasn't any noise or music and I really feel the place could benefit from it. 2) Consider hiring or training some charismatic tour guides for the main trail! My best friend took it on himself to entertain the kids pretending to be a "tour guide" for our walking of the trail. He added to our experience, I can only imagine what it could do for the business. These of course come from my own perspective. Either way, it was a good time!!! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Our VIP from H-town loves dinosaurs so we surprised him with a visit to Dino Park. The folks here are very organized and we were able to purchase tickets, receive our wrist bands, and be on the trail in minutes. They are encouraging but not requiring masks and their restrooms are being cleaned after each use. There is a well-maintained path that guides you through the park. These Dinos are built to scale and there are plaques that provide detailed Info. Photo Ops abound and there are exhibits that are hidden in the woods and on trees. The playground at the end of the trail will definitely wear out the little ones. There are picnic benches at the park and families were enjoying the break in the weather to have picnics. Of course, there is a well-stocked gift shop that has Dino toys, games, and even hats. Wear closed-toe shoes as parts of the trail were a bit muddy. Definitely worth the ride down 71 to Cedar Creek!

We were in San Antonio with our 7 year old Grandson. Saw an advertisement and decided to take him. Got there at opening and temps ran over 100 plus degrees! You follow a long winding trail and nested in clearings in The woods, they have true size replicas of many dinosaurs! I was surprised my grandson knew 98% of the names, but what amazes me was the shear size of many of them! My Grandson loved it and I was thoroughly entertained! They also have picnic area and that day they had a birthday party for a child.

I took my 2.5 and 4.5 year olds as an impromptu trip as we made our way to grandma's house. Parking is easy and wide so no issues opening car doors to get the little ones out. The entrance to the building is double doored and there is a large store with lots of Dinosaur toys. There is a section for kids to watch a television if you need that. 4 large restroom and each named after a dinosaur. Large and spacious inside. Drinks and light snacks for sale, too. Outside there is a large playground area with multiple sections. One section had water misters going over a playscape and a picnic table. Very nice to sit and cool off while you watch the kids run around. The exhibits start past the playground. I highly recommend doing the trail first and then playground or their feet may get "too tired". It's a low impact and level hike-like setting with a mix of gravel and paved walk ways with twists and turns. Heavily wooded areas throughout the self-guided tour. The exhibits were amazing and the kids were screaming in excitement for most of the tour with every new dinosaur they saw. Really great space for them to show off their excitement and run around without losing them. The parking lot was half full when we visited and we only came across a couple other families on the trail because it's really spacious and spread out nicely. You won't feel rushed and can go at whatever pace works for you and your family. Great place for younger kids. Great set up and kid-friendly restrooms. You can also rent a separate indoor hall for birthday parties. The entrance cost was around $30 for two kids and 1 adult.

Many different types of Dino's to take photos with!

The major, and I mean major things was it was not crowded! Which was a huge relief for spring break and the crowds we dealt with every where else we went. The second MAJOR plus! The food was actually really good! You don't hear that much about amusement parks! If the family says they would eat it served anywhere else, then it's good! I recommend the family pack with food! Ok so value wise, you can look at it in two ways. The perks could outweigh the seeming thought of overpaying. It's waaaaaay cheaper than seaworld, or six flags. I can see it being worth more value if the water park section was opened. For right now, the fact the kiddos and even the misses could ride all day, and no long lines, make this a win for us. There are no token to buy, just all day wristbands. Yes the video games for the most part are dated. It's also not a huge park. There are four major rides outside. My family said the rollercoaster was a lot more violent and faster than they thought it would be. They were split whether they liked it or not. They also all loved the go kart attraction. We almost missed a small section in the inside towards the back. They had a bungee trampoline, a small rock wall, and a flight simulator! The family all enjoyed the flight simulator! It made for lots of laughs. They did have a playground and ball area for the smaller kids which we did not explore. Again, this is not a major theme park, but more like a light version with less crowds! We are coming back! The only negatives for us, the distance from where we live, the dated video game rides, and the water park being closed. It's not crazy cheap, but not crazy expensive. Hope that makes sense. It's almost like it was worth it to us because we were already driving back into town. That's pretty much it...

And this lot charged $30.00 so I lucked out being at the other lot, but okay, so here I am in another lot when I'm trying to drive out of here. I ran over a cone and made my own lane. Finally I exited out. All in all, security was nice when I came in. I had a small clear bag and my empty Yeti. I never filled my Yeti with the water they provided. If I was in dire need of water I would have gotten water. But I was good and it definitely wasn't hot. I would do this again. Some better planning in my part. Head phones. Would have liked to have listened to my own music and been in my own world. Small to go containers with leak proof lids. The food was large portions. So once you have 1 meal, you're kind of full to try other things. Hopefully I know the next time this happens, and I'll be better prepared. Really fun and a cool experience.

We went here on a Monday when our district didn't have school. It was a little bit more crowded…read morethan I thought it would be. We got there around 1pm. It did clear out around 3pm. The workers varied from really nice and helpful to grumpy and appearing to hate their jobs. The place in general is a money pit, but I think you know that going into it. We happened to get in on a BOGO special. Otherwise the price seems crazy high. The roller coaster was one activity that seemed to be running very inefficient. It took forever for them to load the carts. They did jump workers around to different activities so everything isn't always open and the times posted didn't actually match up to when they were open.

After dinner, my buddy and I decided to go into Tom Foolery just to check out their arcade game…read moreselection. That's when we found out that for $30 you could get one hour of free play on non ticketed games. We bought one card and were able to play the Walking Dead rail shooter, the entire campaign of the Halo rail shooter, and some Cruisin' to wrap up the night. It was a Friday night, so they were pretty busy but it's such a huge arcade that it really never is a problem. The staff were all super nice and made me feel welcomed. There is a pretty great selection of games at Tom Foolery. I do wish they had an NBA Jam style arcade machine or more "mature" games like Halo and Walking Dead, but beggars can't be choosers. If you've ever wanted to just be a guy and run through full arcade game campaigns, the Tom's Power Hour deal is absolutely worth it. I will be back one day to beat the Jurassic Park campaign.
