If you care about your dog, please read this…read more I rarely write reviews, but after what my dog went through at this facility, I feel obligated to warn others. I usually leave my dog with family, but they weren't available. I found this place through online research and ignored the red flags -- something I deeply regret. After a short trial weekend, my dog came home with a cut on his nose. They brushed it off and blamed him. Foolishly, I gave them a second chance for a longer stay. When I picked him up, he had a deep wound on his nose, a chipped tooth, and was visibly traumatized. He wasn't the same dog -- withdrawn, scared, and exhausted. When I contacted the owner, she avoided responsibility and offered no real explanation. After pushing for answers, she sent a photo of the small cage he had been kept in -- nothing like what I was told. She even tried to shift the blame onto my dog again. This place was neglectful and unprofessional, and I strongly considered pursuing further action. I would never bring my dog here again. Please don't make the same mistake I did. Your dog deserves better.

Second time I asked Tamar if she noticed anything that could have caused him to limp. She got very defensive and gave non helping random replies. Needless to say she didn't care a bit. I ended up spending lot of time and money at vet. Anyways, I stopped sending him there and found better alternatives.

We started taking our dogs here a little more than a year ago, after our old doggy daycare shut…read moredown. I have to say that I am very impressed with how well they have taken care of our pups. I would recommend the doggy daycare for active and playful dogs or social dogs. My other senior dog wasn't into the social scene and didn't like being around a lot of dogs, so this wasn't a great fit for her. They do have a non-social option, which is more like a small enclosed run, but you have to know your dog and whether that will work for them. For my two that have gone to PnP, every day I look forward to seeing their photos and hearing about the fun they had. In the summer, my dogs especially like cooling off in the kiddie pools. I know the entire facility is very clean. They close midday to clean, and my dogs never came home smelling dirty. Our senior dog Moose loved going to "school" and getting in the car everyday. The staff at PnP took such gentle loving care of him even as he got older and weaker. They noticed little things like days he was in pain even before we did and were always careful to let us know. We will forever be grateful for how well they cared for him all the way to the end. Thank you Paws n Pals! I highly recommend this daycare to anyone in Kent looking for a great place for their pups to have fun and socialize!

Having to find a new boarding place for your dog is so unnerving! You can 'do all the things' (i.e…read more research) but until they physically stay over a few times, it still feels like you're going in blind. PnP really went out of their way to make us and our pup feel comfortable. Everyone we met, up to (and including) our dog's two week stay were just wonderful. And having a non-social boarding option really sealed the deal for us. I love that we were able to find such a warm, loving and clean place for our little fur baby when coming with us is not an option.

Cindy has watched our dog, Rampage about 3-4 times now when we go away on vacation…read more Let me ask you something. Why would you put your dog at a kennel type place if you have or had this option. My dog is practically like family to Cindy now. It's honestly invaluable what she provides. My dog is never in a crate, and gets to hang with Cindy and her family, go out back and check out the chickens and other animals, he's not locked up in a cage for 20 of 24 hours a day. I get the overnight kennel places probably not having the man power to pay one on one attention to those dogs, but it's just that your dog is going from free reign of your own home to being in a kennel for hours at a time. It's a huge adjustment and difference. With Cindy, they're going from your home, to a home. She gives you updates too on how your dog is doing and sometimes even sends off photos too. I recommend Cindy to any & everyone who's in need for a dog sitter.

My little cat Murray was in the hospital, very sick, and needed to be transferred from her vet in Lodi to a specialist vet in Sacramento. I was tied up with a work crisis but Murray needed to get to Sacramento. After a frantic search on Yelp, I found Cindy and she dropped everything, on a Saturday afternoon, and drove from Manteca to pick up Murray in Lodi and take her to Sacramento. Cindy even stayed in Sacramento for several hours until I could get there. Cindy made it possible for my beloved Murray to get the best medical care and I am forever grateful. She sent me a video of Murray, which I cherish. Thank you, Cindy, your kindness, generosity of spirit and integrity are treasures; thank you for caring about my Murray as if she were your own.

DOGS AND HUMANS WELCOME at this female owned and LGBTQ friendly establishment. It looks like a…read moreregular human bar lounge except there are dogs running around off leash everywhere! Owners and people who enjoy dogs, lounge on plush couches sipping libations or playing one of the many board games provided for free. There is even a pool table! The staff are friendly and the bar also has draft beer as well as all manner of mixed drinks. My wife and I and Bomer, (our King Charles Cavalier) came to check this place out. We had thought there would be food, but apparently the health department will not allow it. We were told that we could bring our own food, and there are plenty of places in the neighborhood to get some including a wonderful BBQ place 2 blocks away. Besides the bar area, there are some indoor and outdoor play areas for the doggies. It was raining that day but I did have a look. The outdoor area is quite small compared to some other dog/people bars I've seen There are also a couple of indoor play areas. One is exclusively for boarding doggies, which, I did go to check out and was immediately mobbed by both large and small dogs. They were friendly but, I was quite overwhelmed and the staff helped me exit. Now I was told there was yet another indoor play area for visitors, but it was "not open". The owner lady did tell me she would open it for us, but never followed up and I thought her messaging about it was a little confusing. Other than that the basic bat area seemed nice, and we could see there were quite a few regulars there who knew each other as well as the dogs seemed to. Our little Boomer tried to make friends and was able to run around and play with some of the other dogs We did order some drinks, I enjoyed my draft beer but my wife did not like the one red wine they had which tasted a like a port that had been mixed with a red blend. Blech! So, now for the stars. As my Yelp friends know, I ALWAYS start with five and deduct from there. I will have to deduct a half star for the terrible red wine with no alternatives. If you're going to be "a bar" you need good wine and more than one option. Then a half star for the mixed messaging I encountered over the "public indoor play space. So four stars!
