Here is my honest review for the Tint World in Agoura Hills. Called them and got appointment the next day. New place just opened up. My wife dropped the car and couple hours later went to pick it up. When the car was done I noticed the missing cover over one of the sensors on the windshield. Also noticed that it wiggles really easily and it was clear they removed it to put the film behind the sensor. Take them and the manager called the technician to take a look. They found the cover, put it back and said it's "done". I wiggled the sensor and it came right off. I asked why did they remove the sensor and they couldn't explain. At this point I was very concerned about the situation. The sensor was glued to the glass from the factory and it was now tempered with. I called the Toyota service center, explained them the situation and they said that calibration alone could cost $600 or more. I became very very concerned about this whole situation. I confronted the manager about them taking responsibility for this and they said they can glue the sensor back. Further talks went nowhere. I said that this sensor could be a part of the safety system of the car and requires precise calibration, for what the technician said that they have all necessary equipment to do this in house. It was hard to believe. Anyways, after the car came back, the sensor was glued solid and they said it's "done" again. I noticed glue residue around where they were gluing the sensor. I talk the manager about this, he had to call the technician again and after that they said they need to redo the file on the glass some other time. I was out of town for the next week. I made new appointment and they redid the film. Now, I live with the worry that the sensor can stop working at any moment and who knows what consequences that may have in terms of safety. Would not recommend this place. I did not have good experience. Quality of the work is horrible and I wasted a lot of my time with long lasting consequences to my piece of mind and the car. read more

Brought in my for paint correction and full ppf. I happened to be driving by a week after they started work and asked if I could check it out. When I looked at the car, I noticed that there was what appeared to be a poor paint job done prior to brining the car in. Instead of notifying me and stopping work, they continued on the entire vehicle. When I asked why they didn't stop and notify me, the answer from the owner Habib was, "I don't know. You're right." He even said he noticed it but didn't want to say anything to the guy wrapping the car because he wanted to see if that guy noticed it. Are you kidding?? So, I'm now paying $4,400 to have the car fixed. I've hired an attorney to recoup those expenses, and can't see a word in which I wouldn't win, but such a massive headache. They get 2 stars because the tint they did on my other car was done well. Avoid this shop if you are doing anything beyond tint. read more

EXTREMELY satisfied with the service performed on my car. I came in for my car to get detailed, as there was a bunch of pollen/tree sap that won't come off with a regular car wash (needs clay bar, etc). They really went above and beyond with my car and I feel like I'm falling in love with it all over again. One thing that I want to stress is that they are HONEST. Took my brand new Mercedez GLS 450 here for tint. They did an awful job to say the least. The window tint was peeling off and had air pockets throughout. I called them to let them know about the problem - the gentleman that works the front is very nice, which is the only favorable comment I have for this place. They agreed to "fix" the tint job, which took 4 hours. After they finished, I still had scratches and air bubbles on the windows. I requested a refund which they refused to do, and would only give me a discount. They charged me $300 for 2 windows. Horrible work. I now have to go find another tint shop and have them re-do the windows and I'm out $225 + all the time I wasted. I'm debating whether it's worth my time to go to small claims court. got the stripes a past owner had done replaced on my mini shortly after i bought it. the service was fantastic. super kind staff who helped me out with making the stripes look better rather than just exactly replacing the shape and what was done previously. the old stripes had awful water spots all over them and even after the recent rain there isn't a single stuck-in spot on these. highly recommend! read more
