I went with the only certified LLumar installer in Ventura County and had both of my Prius cars done the same day. I got LLumar Air series 80 windshield and Pinnacle 30 for the front windows. My other Prius I got stratos 50 for the windshield. Melissa handled scheduling and pricing with zero hassle--straight answers, no surprises. They did a good job putting my tinting on. Everything looked perfect. I got Stratos Series on all windows except LLumar Air 80 on front windshield and Sunstrip at the top 4" of the windshield to provide protection from glare. Back side windows I got darkest possible. Front side windows I got lightest possible. My only disappointment is that I was hoping my Tesla would be cooler with the tinting after sitting in the sun, but I took before and after screenshots of temperatures inside and outside of vehicle where vehicle was outside in full sun and half sun and compared them and did not see a difference in temperatures before and after tinting. It is possible the vehicle is heating up slower because of the tinting and may help while driving, but if so it is not enough that I could tell. read more

Amazing tint quality and customer service! The prices are transparent on their website for your vehicle make, model, and the tint options they offer are listed clearly with the benefits of each. They responded really fast on Yelp, and communication was quick and clear. They require you to make a $50 deposit for your appointment. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly in helping you choose the tint you want for your car. They also have a waiting room with snacks if you're there for a short appointment. Their service is definitely a 5/5. Since I just got a Tesla Model 3, the factory windows had no tint. I opted for the Pinnacle tint option (level 3) since it blocks 99% UV with good infrared heat reflection. After asking the front desk, I ended up choosing the 15% tint option all around with the 50% tint option on the windshield. I dropped off my car at 9am and it was able to be picked up around 1:30pm. I ended up with super clean and dark enough windows for privacy. There aren't any imperfections from when I did a walk-around in the sun. The shop is also really clean, which reflects the meticulous quality of their work. Definitely a great place to get your windows tinted. I knew nothing about car tint since this was my first vehicle getting tinted. I was able to make an appointment online for a Saturday. When you make an appointment online, they require a $50 deposit that comes out of your total bill. Online the prices and types of tint are very transparent and easy to understand. Coreen called me to see if I was able to bring in my car earlier which I did. She walked me through choosing a darkness for my tint, and explained some things about it. I dropped off my car and it was done within a few hours. I was told the majority of the cars they are tinting lately are Teslas and Civics. When they were done, I was very happy with the service and help I received. I received some tips on how to clean the windows such as not using an ammonia based cleaner. Had to get my back window redone after 5 yrs due to bubbling. Felt like i had to jump through hoops(despite being in the system), send pic of defects, talk to 2 diff people, and send pic of reciept(luckily i kept it in my car)! The receptionist was extremely helpful, observant, and kind! This company is lucky to have her! Removing &applying tint for my back window took 3 hours. When i got my car back i checked out the work, and noticed drip stains all over my car!(see photos). The workers didnt seem to clean up after themselves. This dampened my whole experience there. Elite is by far the best tint shop in Ventura County and the only place around where you can get the high performance Llumar ceramic auto and architectural films. I am very happy that I did my research about the quality of the films used here and didn't take my car to a stereo shop or similar place that uses cheap boo boo film. A friend of mine did that and had to have the film removed because it was peeling. I ended up having both of my Subarus and our Lexus tinted here and have been very happy with the results. We were so happy with the ceramic auto film that we ended up having them install ceramic window film on one of our houses to protect our furniture, art, and carpet from fading and it works amazingly well. During COVID, these guys were masked and sanitized at their shop, which made me immediately feel super safe and secure when I walked in with my double N-95s banging.
