I called yesterday to ask about my warranty, because the back of my tint is starting to bubble. Austin (he gave me a business card with Allen Latag) on the phone said as long as I have my receipt you can come in. I also asked over the phone if I needed an appointment, he said no. Now that I am here in person ( I drove from Santa Paula) to see if they can take care of it , he said I needed an appointment. I told him that's not what you said over the phone. He claims he never said that... he was being a smart ass when I was asking questions. Why give warranties if you are going to be acting so rudely! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND take your money else where! We arrived promptly at our scheduled time and the car was taken in right away. Once completed (~3.5 hours later), we received a call to pick up. The tint was installed very well - no bubbles, issues, defects. The shop is laid back, but very professional. Pro Tip: Make sure to bring cash to avoid unnecessary service charges using a credit/debit card. Also, be sure to keep your receipt as it acts as their proof of purchase/warranty. Took my Ford here in July 2019. Had the front two windows done as the back ones were tinted already and I just wanted them to match. It was great until last week when the driver side peeled off when I was on a 3000 mile road trip so I took the driver side off as he was getting stuck in the door panel. Now a week later, the passenger side is peeling up from the bottom as well. I called the shop and they said bring the receipt and they will look at it but there's no guarantee that they could do anything because I peeled the tint off, I don't know how I'm supposed to drive 3000 miles with peeling tint on my window but that's ridiculous, they'll try anything to brush you off with no warranty let alone how am I supposed to have a receipt from three years ago they don't put anyone's information in a computer they give you a hand written receipt that's 4" x 6" and expect you to keep it as a warranty. I'll find another shop that can stand behind their work and not do a shoddy job. Obviously, it's a problem with the install if it happened a week apart and the three other windows don't even have an issue but they were done by someone else. Great business model. read more

Don't bother going anywhere else other than here!! Other spots you commonly hear on the radio will upcharge for less quality workmanship and cheap tint that goes maroon or purple within the first year. By the way go for the ceramic tint it's a little more than your base tint but your upholstery will thank you; and you'll save on gas since your A/C will no longer be competing with the radiating heat coming off your windshield. I no longer get a tan driving to work with the ceramic tint.... block the heat and haters. Hit up solar expertz!!! He told me "don't call us we will call you, if you call and ask for a status we are just gonna have you come pick up the car" I never asked how long or had any kind of problem leaving my car for the whole day so for him to assume that I would was extremely annoying...I went to go pick the car up and he was talking to my Bf although my car and talked about me as if I wasn't there. I've gone to solar xpertz for a while. It's not my first time getting my windows tinted. and I've never had issues until now. Over the phone booking my appointment. No issues. Then my day comes and i get my car back and notice from the day I got it. My driver side front door window has bubbles and the water bubbles too. So I left it for 2 days not doing anything Til I take the car back. I explained the concern to them and they said they would fix it. Which i was happy with. heres where the issue comes. i received the call saying my car was ready. when I arrive i approached a different man than who I spoke with earlier and the first thing he said was "who rolled down the window?" we only rolled it down not even an Inch. And the issue is not with the company, the issue I have is the fact he blames us for how the tint was. we explained to him that that was how the tint came when we picked it up. but I still was respectful and gave him the benefit of the doubt. I'll still be coming here because ive only done solar xpertz tinting since my dad introduced them. I just thought this should be brought to someone's attention. Got my vehicle tinted today (9/19/17) and I must say they are quick! They offer a wide percentage of tint. Brand that they use primarily appears to be solargard. They do have other tints as well that aren't advertised such as ceramic based tints but like anywhere else that's gonna cost you. Some other people had reviewed that these people ignored them but as for my experience that was not the case. Staff was friendly and they were constantly busy. My tint is starting to bubble after about 6 years. Not a problem! I say to myself, Solar xpertz said they have a lifetime warranty no questions asked "we'll take care of it!" I called to schedule an appointment for a Saturday. The guy says they don't do any warranty jobs on Saturdays. Essentially what they are saying is that "we already have your money, so we will treat you like a second class customer and only offer services for you at certain times." If that is their policy, it dampens the customer service experience and I hope they know it hurts their reputation with these policies. So there are 2 problems in this case: tint that does not last and starts to bubble and second: stringent policies that regard those with problems with the product can only come in at certain times to fix it. read more

I walked in here today and there were 4 gentleman in the shop working on a few cars. They just looked at me but didn't acknowledge me. I'm not sure if it was because they were too busy or they were closed but as a customer, one of my biggest pet peeves is being ignored. If you are looking for a well done tint job this is not the place to go. I got my Audi windows tinted here because they had a good price but man do I regret it. They scratched the tint on all 4 windows, and you could see lint all inside the tint. I asked the manager what he could he said it would go away after a week or so. Never did. I would've given them 5 stars, but they were late to opening their location on time. Im not a fan of waiting, so when youre hours are posted 9-5, you should be ready for business during those hours. First person to drop off a vehicle Saturday morning, employee/owner arrives and only acknowledged the gentlemen who was obviously the same nationality as him although several people were waiting, he ignored them all. After having my vehicle for an hour & a half, they called me to say they would not tint the windows because there was already tint on them (very little adhesive, not tint and only two of five windows) and they do not remove tint on Saturdays. Upon returning, I explained to the employee the tint was already removed and only adhesive was on the window. The employee began to argue and basically called me a liar when he stated he had asked before I left if the windows were tinted. When I explained we had never had a conversation about tint on the window, he refused to admit we never had such a discussion. As I noted if we had a conversation about tint on the window(s) and if I lied to him about it, how would I expect them not to notice the tint if there was any; he refused to answer. I later determined they were the same tint shop that tinted my old car, and the tint started to peal and bubble after about 1-year, they had just moved from their old location. I guess it was a blessing I had not removed all the adhesive before taking it to these guys or I would have wasted money on the place. I highly recommend NOT going to this place, not good business, obviously no integrity and if they don't agree with you, they obviously are willing to call you a liar to your face. 1st timer here as I was referred by my boyfriend who had window tinting on his charger about 2 years ago. I was told to come early because it gets busy fast. New Years eve I decide to take my car in to have my windows tinted. They were open half day which is understandable being that it was during the Holidays. The time they open is at 9 a.m., so I got there at 8:00. What??!?! I wanted to make sure I was the 1st to get my car done lol. Anyway, Allen opened up the shop at 8:45 and checked in my car right away. It was raining and I had nowhere to go, so I waited in the small front waiting room. The timing went by pretty quick unless I was too into my word search book haha! Surprisingly there was two others that showed up to have their windows tinted too during the rainy weather and they also got taken care of. Wouldn't an intelligent business owner do that AFTER he gets off of work and has helped customers who were waiting for over an hour?! When we got in, there were already 2 cars from the previous day ahead of us. 2 out of 3 of us took our business elsewhere. Owner has no concept of how to run a business and the importance of opening on time. I had come by the previous day and he said to come early the next day. I was waiting for over an hour! Now i don't have anything negative to say about my experience yesterday when i visited this business to get my windows tinted. I did read a couple of the reviews prior to writing mine and I can understand where some of the other customers could feel that the staff it's not forthcoming with information or isn't customer service driven. On that note I had a great experience yesterday because I asked questions prior to returning for my service and they answered them all without a problem. Even after I had left my car there and went home they called me just to clarify some things about the job that they were doing which I really appreciated. When it was time to come pick up my car the pick up was prompt I paid for my service and received my receipt which is also a warrantee for the lifetime of my tint which is amazing for a business to extend.
