First, let me say, we have been loyal customers of Tint America for many years and this is the first time we had a negative experience but it is worth documenting. Yesterday (08/21/2020) Tint America made a terrible mistake. I was at your location yesterday when my son took his car in for tinting. He is visiting from South Carolina & asked your representative to look up the % of legal tinting for SC, which he did. (Very nice & professional young man) My son went with the tint based on the recommendation of your associate after looking up in a booklet the SC codes. Today, my son looked up the legal limit for tinting in SC & he was way off. My son called & spoke to the young man and he said they could could correct it for an additional fee of $175.00. They did call back and lowered the cost to $100.00 Why would you want to charge more money for a mistake you made? You are the experts and we depended on you for accuracy. You should be embarrassed and ashamed for wanting to charge my son for a mistake you made. You are wrong. A smart business person will do what's right and this case, they did not do the right thing. As a father, I am upset for my son. Please know, the young man at your store was very nice and respectful but he made a mistake and now, we are very unhappy people. WOW!!! These guys are FAST & on point... We called these guys up on a Saturday at about 3pm and asked them if they have any availability. They were the only company that actually said Yes to us because all of the other companies around Delray or Boynton were either to busy or not opened on Sunday. Time America in Delray said - bring it down at 5:30pm... We showed up a little bit early as they were just finishing up a car - mind you these guys close at 6pm. Staff were friendly, explained all the different levels of tints that they had and we chose a premiere tint for our vehicle and decided to UBER home. I thought it was going to be about a 2 hour wait or so - but to my surprise... we got a call in about an hour that they were nearly done. When we got there about 1:15 hours later - the car was waiting outside and she looked GOOD!!! we inspected the work to make sure it was properly done and nothing was missed and i must say - these guys did ONE AMAZING JOB!!! They informed me that they would not replace tint on back window. I had the original receipt. They stated that they no longer have that tint in stock. I stated that's ok just put a different tint on. They refused! Terrible customer service . I will never deal with this business again ! If you ever need warranty work done don't expect them to stand behind their warranty . Went to Tint America with a photo of the windows we wanted tinted along with dimensions. Fernando said Hector would call with a price. I suggested he come by and see for himself. Hector never came to look at the windows. I did receive a text from him the following day with a price of $350. I agreed and set a time and date for the tinting. 15 minutes before the scheduled appointment, I received a text from Hector saying he would be an hour late. He arrived almost an hour and a half later than originally scheduled. He then told me the price would be double, $700. I told him that was not our agreement. He said that after seeing it, he realized it would be more money. I reminded him that he should have come by before sending a quote. I refused to pay the additional cost, he didn't seem to care and left. In my opinion, very unprofessional company! BEWARE!!! read more

I was recently recommended to try Tint America. After reading all the reviews, I gave them a chance since the last shop performed a subpar job on my car leaving dirt in the tint! When I met Hector, he was very friendly and exceeded my expectations. I wasn't sure what shade of tint would work in my car. So he cut samples of each shade and temporarily applied them to my car so I had a better idea of the results. That helped to confirm my selection and I am pleased with the outcome. So far, the job was perfect. While waiting, I hung out at Mister Food in the same shopping plaza which had a great selection of Venezuelan pastries. I was in no hurry, but a person that was would feel different. I have a lifetime warranty and went to do only 2 windows, but they told me they will do all of them if I wouldn't mind waiting. Had my car for less than a week and when I took my car to Tint America to have the tints done my seats ended up with a stain on the front driver and back passenger seats. I would of given here 5 stars, but I was a little disappointed that instead of giving me the complete prices of all the tint options, I was only given the prices of the two higher options. Only to over hear the employee tell a customer over the phone that they have tints starting at 139 for cars. When I questioned him about it, he told me that he didn't mention it to me because a lot of people complain that their phones don't work when they have this particular tint because there is metal in it?...Whatever that means. They did my girlfriends car and I had explained I was sort of in a time sensitive situation bc I was surprising her, hopefully getting it back home before she wakes up. They had me in and out in roughly an hour. They also have many choices to choose from and seemed very knowledgable about each tint. For instance I had no idea you could tint your front window. And there's a certain tint you can use to drastically reduce the temperature in your car. And living in south florida, that's a real plus. I'm going back and having them do that on my car. Imagine, a lifetime warranty from 3M valid anywhere in the country. A very professional job was done on my BMW, using a less dark tint that actually has a higher resistance to heat.
