It's sad to see the bad reviews, I've never had a bad, questionable, or negative experience here. The staff is not overly talkative, but that's ok. I come here to relax and they allow me to do so. My nails always look nice and they have always lasted. I love the melted wax dip during the pedicure, my heels feel and look amazing! Its only $30 for a fill sadly, whatever type of GEL polish they use it chips easily. I've been getting my nails done for decades. Since using GEL polish my nails stay nice between fills and rarely chip. Not when I got them done here. 1st time Wendy did my nails and they looked very nice but after a few days the polish was chipping away so I went in and they fixed them. No problem but was confused as to why it chipped in the 1st place (GEL doesn't chip like that). I had to put my own clear polish on to keep my nails looking decent til they needed filled. I decided to give them a second chance due to the price and it didn't go well. Again after a few days the supposed GEL polish was chipping as well as the acrylic chipping. Tina had filed the acrylic so thin that they chipped easily and the acrylic come off one nail completely. I went in to get them fixed again. The nail that the acrylic came completely off broke before I was able to get to the nail salon. Tina wanted to charge me for a repair. I told her if the acrylic wasn't so thin and came off that my real nail wouldn't have broken in the 1st place. She argued with me (her customer) over a nail tip! Spend the extra $10 for a fill with GEL polish somewhere else unless you like going to get your nails fixed between fills. I don't like bashing a business but get it together. read more

Was in shopping center and saw this place so decided to take a chance on it -all I needed was a regular pedicure so I figured it couldn't get that messed up. I found the women working there terribly unsociable and borderline rude. ZERO conversation- not even a response when I told her the pressure she was using for the massage was great (which is the only reason they got two stars instead of one.) The place was near empty at 2:00 on a Thursday afternoon yet the lady at the front was rushing me out- when I grabbed my shoes to go (knowing it was way too soon) my shoe hit the big toe and messed up the paint -then they had no clue what color it was!!! the lady that did the pedicure didn't remember where she put it back on the shelf so we're trying to match these colors and Even though I do not believe it's the same color it seemed close enough for her to insist it was. Would NEVER recommend this place unless you are beyond desperate!!! There's NO excuse when you work with the public to be so unfriendly. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt because you never know what their life is like but when everyone in the place is like that it raises a red flag. read more

I have been going to Tina for over a year to get my manicures, pedicures, and eye brows cleaned up. She is so good at what she does. She does all of her designs by hand, and they are amazing. It is never the same thing twice, and I now let her pick out what color she thinks will look good, and I let her decide what kind of design to do as well. The pedicures are heavenly as your legs and feet are exfoliated, massaged, and then moisturized. I love spa day! Tina also does a great job waxing. She never takes my brows in too thin, they are never too thick, and she always makes sure they are 100% cleaned up. For a fill in, design on each nail, pedicure with design, and eye brow waxing, I pay $70. Not too bad if you ask me!!! I love you Tina!!! read more

Man oh man I went there to relax and unwind now as soon as I come I'm asked to sign in and everything I get seated for a pedicure quicky but this is my problem the water is freaking COLD!! I ask the lady twice to make it hotter but she just makes it warm the pedicure wasn't really up to my standards she made my feet in a oval shape instead of square my design came out nice but the massage wasn't that fascinating and the pedicure wasn't worth $30 dollars. I kind of felt like if your going to charge people that much at least be nice and conversational I go to nail salons all over the states never endured this before . Then when I got my nails done the guy was absolutely rude and he moved so slow like it took him a hour to do my nails and he was snapping complaining saying he was tired and it's like if you feel that way go home don't take it out on the customers. Then because he took so long I had to get gel nails which he gladly charged me $35 and now this was the big issue he says "you have to pay me first before I paint your nails or I can get fired" my method of payment was American Express which they did not carry or handle so I'm basically told to go to the store (who doesn't have a ATM or does cash back) and I was forced to walk across to the ATM . Booooooo Absolutely terrible service. My nails were bubbly when I left. Little bubbles that when the paint was completely dry ended up cracking and popping. Old nail polish will do that. Highly disappointed. read more

Definitely not impressed! Got my nails done natural with gel. It's the next day and my nails look as though I got them done a week ago. The gel doesn't feels like gel at all. It feels like regular polish and it's not even up to my cuticles. I know it's not the best color to choose but I expected the color to be darker. $30 was definitely not worth it and will not be going back! read more

Well, I read the reviews... Mostly bad, except the one raving review about Tina herself. I went in today for a gel French manicure, and I left with something resembling a proper job. "James Bond" as he called himself was very friendly and took his time, but the end result could have been better executed. Whites are too thick and don't go the full way to the edge of the nail. Nails are filed unevenly, and although I asked for square, they are square in an awkward, not smooth or refined manner. My nails are better than they were, but overall, NOT worth the $40 I just spent. Please go elsewhere. read more

I have visited Tina's salon twice and both times I was disappointed in the quality of nail care and the snarky remarks made by Tina herself. I went a second time in hopes that the first time was just a "bad day" but nonetheless the service was consistently bad. I will never recommend this salon. read more

Boo Hiss Boo Friggen Hiss again.....What the fark? Went here to get a "Spa" pedicure today & I can say that the girl who did my pedicure was very nice but, really lacks in caring for someones feet. When I go for a pedicure I expect most of the emphasis to be on my feet and not my legs.....I was there for 1-1/2hrs & I can honestly say that the total time spent on my actual feet was maybe 30 minutes. The rest was putting 4, yes 4, different types of scrubs on my legs and messaging my legs. While I enjoyed this very much, my main reason for the pedicure was for my FEET, isn't that what a pedicure is? After I left and upon further inspection by my friend and myself we noticed just how horrible of a job was done. The trim was sloppy and the nail wasn't even smooth like polish normally is after a pedicure. The callouses on my feet weren't THAT horrible that there were still some on the bottoms of my feet. Normally I am not this picky and I am not the type pf person that goes to get a Mani/Pedi every other week, but I do know how a pedicure should be properly carried out. Sorry to say that I will not being go back to this salon. Anywho, after just moving back to PA a month ago I guess I am still in search for that new place for me. My friend I went in the middle of the week, in the morning. There were 2 people getting manicures when we arrived, but we were seated quickly in the pedi chairs. Lets just say the leg and foot massage was very lackluster. The manicure lead to crooked nails and my friends nails after 2 days were all sticky and gummy on top. Pick another place!!! read more

Should have read the reviews before going. Went and got a full set of nails and my nails look horrible. My nails are uneven and bubbly looking. They are supposed to be squared. Some are round some are squared some are crooked and some of my nails are really really thick! Im also pretty sure they were talking about one of their clients when she left. As soon as she walked out the door the nail tech said something and they both started laughing. I would not go back there. There was an older lady that did my pedicure and she did a good job, it was quick but much better then my nails. read more

This place is terrible. I told Tina apparently the owner I was visiting from out of state so I guess she figured that meant she could rush thru my Mani, Pedi, and eyebrows since I wouldn't be returning. She made me pay to front as if I was going to run out when 2 girlss were leaving when I sat down, and paid when they were finished. I told her my toe nail grows weird on one side into my skin(ingrown)and would need to be trimmed because hurts after a while if not and she said ok and ignored me. So I left with my toe still hurting. She continued to rush me after a 10 minute pedicure to eyebrow chair. In which I've been getting my eyebrows done for years and I she is the roughest I have ever experienced. I felt when I got up I was going to be bleeding. Just says OK when done. No showing me what they looked like to see if I was satisfied or anything. Had no clue until I got back to hotel and they didn't even look like they had been done. Stray hairs still everywhere. I've always known them to tweeze whatever hairs are missed by wax. And show me in mirror to see if you're satisfied. It felt she is sick of her job, and just rushes through people now. Then as I'm drying toes in dryer another lady comes up after 5 minutes and says OK dry. She starts to put my flip flop on me, mind you I would have liked to wait til dry since it was 30 degrees there and would have liked to leave with socks on my feet since I walked there from my hotel nearby. But as she is rushing she chips my nail. I'm fed up and this point and just leave. Now I have to return back to Florida 2 days before Christmas with half done eyebrows, rushed Mani. And chipped toe nail. I wouldn't recommend this place, especially if your a traveler. read more

I had three different experiences at Tina's and all were below average. The first time was for an acrylic fill to my nails. The whole time she was rushing through the process and did not file my nails to my liking. Felt as though I was being rushed out the door. Second time my husband and I went for our first pedis, not impressed once again. I really don't even think they saw my feet at the end of my legs. She had spent her time massaging our legs. I would suggest going in and watching them work maybe its how you like it but I was looking for a FOOT massage. Third and final was having my acrylic nails removed. Now when I thought I would go into a Tina's to have them removed the proper way was a good idea. HA ha. Well if ripping them off and taking half of my nail with it. Very painful, paper thin,torn up nails is what I'm left with after $20... once again I feel like it was a rush to get me out. I have learned my lesson, just because its close doesn't mean it's worth it. :). I will not be going back nor would I recommend anyone going to this place. read more
