I didn't know any dentist out in the Hamptons but was referred to Dr. Ingrao when I had an emergency tooth situation (in the midst of a pandemic). My situation was pretty straight forward - tooth was in bad shape and he recommended that I get that extracted and referred me to another dentist. Though he's in my insurance network, the office charged me and said they would send in the claim on my behalf. I filled out the form and left. It's been seven weeks and the claim hasn't been submitted. Seven weeks. Are you kidding me?! Go somewhere else, this dental office and the staff is a joke. read more

I'm very shocked to see the below reviews. It seems like these are receptionist and staff issues because Dr. Ingrao saved my tooth. He responded to me on the Fourth of July and actually came into the office to help me avoid an ER visit!! My general dentist said the work was impeccable and Dr. Ingrao was always available if I had questions afterward. I already referred my sister in law here. Went to this Dr. for an emergency visit while on vacation.This bozo wouldn't perform anything because my dentist back home had already started on that particular tooth. (Afterwards i called my MetLife Insurance and they said it wouldn't be an issue) he than tried to pressure me into paying 1100 cash without going thru insurance and than would only perform the dental procedure if i came back to him the following week. (My vacation was ending the next day and I live over 100 miles away) Anyways I ended up walking out snd going to premier endotonicst Took care of everything for $143. On a side note their is a really great Endotonicst across the street, he referred me available doctors. read more

My appointment was at 11, he didn't arrive at the office until 11:50. Wanted $2400 for a root canal and charged me $125 just to get that information. No thanks. Avoid this doctor unless you are desperate or made of money. read more

Was sent to him on a referral because there was a crack in my filling. Was given several forms to fill out when I got there by the receptionist. The last 4 pages stated that the Dr. explained the procedure, the risks and that he has answered all of my questions. I had not even met the doctor yet and did not know what procedure it was referring to. I turned in the paperwork and told the receptionist I didn't sign the last 4 pages and will do that when I speak to the Dr. She then insisted I needed to take ex-rays. I told her my dentist put the ex-rays he took yesterday morning in the envelope I handed her along with the prescription. She further insisted they needed to take there own. I explained to her she has them in the envelope from the referring dentist and to look in the envelope that he gave me to give to them. She angrily said she is not looking in the envelope because she is taking her own. I told her I had 3 dental ex-rays in the last 3 weeks and I wasn't going to take another one. She got very angry and said I have too. I got very angry and walked out. Do yourself a favor and avoid this office. read more

I was referred to this Dr. And I made an appointment. Today, I found out that I had to fly out as my family member (Sister) became gravely and I was about to call the Dr. To cancel when his receptionist called me at noon before I had chance to call. I then told her I needed to cancel and I told her the sad and painful reasons why and that I would re-schedule once I knew the timing. She was not empathetic at all and then said that I would be charged $ 150 for this cancellation and she rudely also said why did you not call and cancel. I said today is Tuesday- my appointment is for Thursday - and I was about to call and that it was still 48 hours before my appointment so I stayed to her that I could not believe that the Dr. Has to charge Beyond a reasonable 24 hour one-- and we are at 48 hours before plus I was never told the policy too. She rudely continued that they were closed on Wed so I should have called and she will have to ask the Dr if she could possibly not charge me. I was aghast- told her I was a lawyer and found this absolutely unprofessional. She then added insult to injury and hung up on me. This was Thee Most Unprofessional experience I have ever encountered with a dentist or doctor and felt the need to post my First- ever Negative post as this happened on top of my current painful circumstances was unacceptable. I would never go to this Endo dentist even if I will need to travel 100 miles for one. I now read the other similar negative reviews that parallel my bad interaction and feel very happy I never went to see him. please do not go to him. read more
