While we dont see Dr Miskin very often we try to get dad in for an annual check up. Most of the time we see Dr Mishkin if dad has to go to the emergency room after an incident. Dr Mishkn is a quiet patient doctor and always listens to whatever is said to him. He seems very mild mannered and does a great job with dad. I am glad Dr Mishkin is my fathers primary physician.

I've had nothing but nightmares dealing with this dept. The latest was a referral that they knew about for 4 months. First of all, I had to file a complaint with Humana because the Doctor and nurse refused to make an appt. with an eye doctor in Network of my choosing rather than their choosing. (that got resolved! )They actually told me I wasn't allowed to pick the in network (Bascom Palmer #1 for 24 years in eye care) doctors. Not True according to Humana Gold Plus, I am allowed to choose in Network Doctors. Back to the referral dept. I called at least three times to get the referral in motion. No response other than when speaking to Stacy she said it would be handled. I decided to give her a reminder on March 17 th since my appt. was on April 1 2026. Got nothing but attitude. Next phone call was from Bascom Palmer (March 25))asking if I could please call Mishkin's office as the referral was not there and they had gotten no response either. I then called and sorry to say I was furious and wanted to file a complaint with Dr, Mishkin. The lady who answered was cordial and took down the info. Today, the day before my appt. I had to go in and pick up the referral. NO Phone call to let me know what was happening as requested. Not their responsibility Stacy said. I will be looking for another Doctor as this experience has been repeated over and over with this dept. Unfortunately, the buck stops with the Doctor for not being on top of this on going problem!

During my stay at the hospital, Dr. Nochimson treated me like I had been his patient for years. He is very matter of fact and has a great bedside manner. I felt not only was he concerned with doing my pre-ops, he is concerned with keeping me healthy and my overall well being. The office can seem a little odd...but that is because everyone gets along and does what they can to keep the patients comfortable. I am happy I found a great new primary.

I made the mistake of being honest with women who makes his appointments and told her i was a very nervous person and i didn't want to have any procedures done in office unless the Dr Garner would ease my concerns and explain the procedure and if they were painful. The woman put me on hold and came back and said that Dr Garner didn't want to waste his valuable time and told me she wouldn't keep the appointment she made for me on 2-11-25. I told her that was unethical and maybe illegal and she put Dr Garner on the line. He reinstated the same comment his time was too valuable and it would be a waste of time. I told him maybe if he would comfort me by explaining what was going to happen then that might calm me down. He insisted that all the procedures were painful and simply refused my need to see a urologist. I even said given the choice to have pain or do nothing at all then i would bite the bullet and go through with the procedure but he said flat out NO! This guy was totally riding on his i am god almighty and dont bother to even begin to ask me any questions in person. Just because hes been doing this for years doesn't make it right. Yesterday, I visited him because I had an abnormal EKG result from another provider that really concerned and frightened me. He and his staff spent so much time with me and showed such kindness. He put my mind at ease .. I highly recommend him. He is very humble, approachable, knowledgeable , likeable and professional with charisma rarely seen in a Doctor in his position.. Pleasant, Professional and Patient seems to be the theme permeating this office. But I was seen first by his P.A. or Nurse Practitioner, Annie, who conducted an initial in-depth assessment, thoroughly reviewing my situation and history and asking pertinent questions. AND she was, unsurprisingly, pleasant, professional and patient. Having been aware of Dr. Chizner's training and accomplishments I expected to be a bit intimidated, but despite the white-coat-syndrome-on-steroids with all the pros in their white coats, I was comfortable with him from the start. It was interesting to see the teaching that was going on as he conducted his assessment and it was clear that he has great rapport with his students as he frequently made eye contact with them to highlight a point or observation. The bottom line is that virtually immediately he identified the likely cause of my complaints which have persisted for years. No tests, no labs, no scans. Just simply his inquiry into my symptoms and history. This after the previous usual suspects of echo's, ekgs and so on having been inflicted on me which provided no guidance into explaining my situation. I'd be remiss if I didn't recognize Alicia, the young lady at the front desk who also fields the phone calls. She is, you guessed it, very pleasant, patient and professional at what she does AND helpful. I should also mention that there was never any hint of any time constraints.

After reading the one star review, I felt compelled to write my own review. I've been a patient of…read moreDr. Pollack's for approximately 3 years now. Dr. Pollack is warm, funny and very caring. He always asks pertinent, personal information to make sure I'm doing what's right and if I'm not, he provides tools to keep me on track. It's a small office and his staff is just great. I am aware that they treat one another like family and maybe that rubs some the wrong way but DEFINETELY NOT ME. It's not fair to go by one patient's negative review. If you're looking for an endocrinologist, I recommend Dr. Jeffrey Pollack. Different strokes for different folks!
