I just want to say what a lovely experience I had this evening getting my first tattoo. I kinda stumbled across this place after looking on yelp and calling about 5 different shops to get 5 different answering machines. Time Zone was the last place I called and was quickly and warmly greeted by a man who seemed to be the manager (I forgot his name!) when I made the appointment I made it for 5:00pm. The next day I called to reschedule for 6:00pm so that my friend could come with me. The man was very polite and accommodating both times. When I got to the business we met Bear, the tattoo artists. He was very kind and easy going. Despite my excessive nervous laughter and being a little dramatic, Bear was still super tolerable and answered any questions I had. When the actual tattoo process began I was still very anxious. That, and me not having eaten hours before hand, I stared to feel a little light headed and woozy half way through. Bear gave me a minute to relax and calm down. (I was a little embarrassed because it was just a tiny tattoo! haha) the manager came around and genuinely starts asking how I'm feeling and brings me a little snack and juice to help my blood sugar come up. After a few minutes I felt much better and the tattoo was over in no time! Overall, I think the costumer service and outcome of my tattoo was beyond great. I really love it! Steve and Zach are great dudes. This place knows how to run a business. They always have what I need. It's right across the street from family. It's next to a great burger joint. Burger City. I was in last week, needed a few items. Zach, hope I'm spelling his name correct. He wrote his name for me on the Bill of sale and I lost it! No big deal. Normally it's in and out. Small items. This time I needed way more and they had it all. Never once had a bad shopping experience here. Great vibes in the store, no one is uptight or on one. After a recent shopping experience at the outlets. I felt the need to mention all my favorite shops in vacville. You really have to appreciate stress free no hassle shopping with everything going on. Went there to get my nose pierced. The guy said come back tomorrow after 1330 and the person that does piercing will be in. So went the following day after 1330 and the guy said, oh the person called in sick. So tried again the following day...nope not in again. Stopped by today...the person is off on Friday and Saturday. I had a relatively upsetting time getting my tattoo through the artist, bear. When I walked into the back room that's hidden behind a curtain the first thing I see is the guy that's tattooing me rolling a blunt and there's marijuana all over the table, floor, and the artist. I understand that lots of people partake but I thought it was incredibly unprofessional to be doing that when clients are coming in. After that he showed me the sketch of my piece and I liked it so while we were discussing it the guy who does piercings is giving some other client an eyebrow piercing that's bleeding everywhere. After the guy getting the piercing was done, the tattoo artist slid that same chair over and had me lay down and get tattooed. He didn't wipe the drops of blood off or make any effort to sterilize the chair before I got on it and it was a piece near my stomach so I was getting a fresh wound while laying and rolling in a stranger's blood and bacteria. I didn't need any breaks but he certainly took one whenever he needed a cigarette which just added a lot of time to a very simple piece. Once the tattoo was finished he didn't give me any aftercare instructions and was perfectly willing to just send me out with nothing to cover my fresh and bleeding tattoo. I like my tattoo but when I want to risk going to a shop that filthy and unprofessional I'll go to a friend's place that is based out of his garage. If you want a clean, risk free, easy experience, I'd definitely not go here. read more

This was the best experience I have had a piercing place. I went in today to get a nose ring put in because while I was able to get my previous nose ring out I couldn't get the new one in. Time Zone was the only place that was able to accommodate me. I went in and the piercer spent almost 40 minutes on me. He was very very patient but also straightforward. He told me that whoever pierced my nose had pierced it at an angle and because I had it out the piercing had closed. He took a BRAND NEW nose ring from the shop and used it to figure out the orientation of my piercing and basically repierce my nose. He then proceeded to straighten my corkscrew nose ring get into my nose and then bend it. ALL OF THIS FOR FREE. We offered to pay, but he said he was just performing a service. Very professional and very kind I cannot thank the piercer enough. He told me to come back so he could make sure that piercing was healing correctly. Again so thankful!! read more
