Back in Pa Near Phile' and can't be happier with the Spectrum Mobil service.. We're paying for 2 unlimited data lines (Locally its 5G), and 1 limited line. Our bill is like $87.xx a month, about 15-30 dollars less than anyone else has. They also finance phones at -0- interest, and have bought 3-4 phones from them, pay them off in 2-3 years, then pass the used one down to my wife so I can get an upgrade. I don't and can't get their TV service being in Pa, and have lived here now about 2 1/2 years, and was told that "they're coming to PA soon". I've tried several times as we come and go from North Carolina to Pa. I only wish they'd come to Pa, as the current TV service here is horrible at best no matter what company you choose. l would pick up the tV service at least for the sports channels tomorrow if they were available. I'm guessing since they apparently have a "network contract with Verizon to use their Cell network there must be a clause that they can not infringe on their territory here in PA. Never go with spectrum they're rude when you cancel your service and they charge too much money I was paying $94 just for the internet that is a rip off just for the internet so I cancel my cancel my internet service with him and when I called the guy was rude he was trying to get in my busy at me who am I going with why didn't you call us to try to get fix the problem cuz after you do that for coming my bill would have been back to 94 so I'm happy with the service I got now the lady was nice and kind of found out a lot of been people been quitting spectrum they are wrapped off and a monopoly never going back with them again read more

I'm really upset with Spectrum In Fayetteville. We had thunderstorms roll through and apparently fried one of my boxes. Called the main Spectrum number, went through their algorithm only to confirm I had a bad box and they scheduled me for a visit in 3 days. Decided to go to local office and change box in person. Well, too make a long story short, new box still didn't work correctly, technician couldn't correct problem, and calling Spectrum main technician still could not solve my problem. So, I have service that is not working fully. I wish we had AT&T Fiber in our area. read more

First off I didn't not go to the store physically so I can't complain about them. But Spectrum as a whole company just flat out sucks. Horrible service! I was on the phone with customer service to cancel my service and was told I would have to pay the full amount even though I'm requesting to cancel service before the end of the billing cycle. But it doesn't make sense how they can charge you for a service you didn't use. TWC never did that!! And on top of that they are double dipping. My service technically wouldn't be up until the 27th of this month however there is a new tenant moving in that's requesting service before that. When I called they told me that my service was already scheduled for disconnect. Uhhhhm NO because that was not me who requested that. How are they going to take a full amount from me for the month and then on top of that double dip and charge the new tenant for days I would have paid out to 7/27. read more

I canceled my service at the beginning of August and returned the issued equipment. I was charged for an entire month's service because they are a "month-to-month" service. I called their poor excuse of a customer support line and gave my complaint to the initial agent. The agent began arguing with me about the subject for several minutes before transferring me to a supervisor. After being on hold for several minutes, the supervisor answered and I again described the situation. The supervisor proceeded to put me on hold for another 20-25 minutes before I was returned to another retention agent who had no idea what was going on. Although the online portal stated i owed $145, the agent said I only owed the monthly bill of $85 - which I was still unwilling to pay. I offered to meet in the middle with a prorated amount and was still denied and was put on additional holds. Do not get this service. This company is the epitome of a monopoly and will rob you while keeping you on hold for over an hour. All this said, they will still annoy you at your private residence by sending out sales reps to your door begging you to come back. I can honestly say I've never dealt with worse customer support. They over charge for their services while all their competitors can do it better for less. The overall service was spotty, at best, and use outdated cheap equipment that they issue their customers. Fee's such as "WiFi Fee" are tacked on to your monthly bill - a technology that is included in every home router (one that you are paying for in the bill) - are just an example of their shady business practices where they take advantage of owning contracts to service entire cities. read more

I hate it when a business lies to me. I tried to return a TV receiver last year, and they told me that I couldn't. You have to keep that receiver for television service. This year after the service technician came, he told me you didn't need the receiver. So I went back down to Spectrum and found out I could turn it in by taking it to UPS. I took it to UPS, got my receipt proving that it had been returned and continued to be charged for it. I got up with Spectrum through their chat And didn't get it resolved. I called the customer resolution center and didn't get it resolved. So I went ahead and canceled TV service and was told I had to get a new modem and that they would send me one. I said I didn't want any equipment that they would be charging me for. And the agent said oh we have to send that to you. It's free. I received the modem and router, and they were a pain to install. I called another line for Spectrum Charter to inquire about my refund for the returned receiver. At the end of that call, I asked what equipment am I being charged for? The agent said oh it's five dollars a month for the router. Once again, I've been lied to. I'm returning the router I didn't ask for through UPS. Let's see how long it takes to get this one off my bill. Spectrum would like your business but I'm sorry it's hard to deal with a business that continually lies to you. They are either completely unethical or enormously incompetent. I've never had a billing dispute so frustrating, time consuming and fruitless. Buyer beware. read more

They wanted to charge a 50 dollar service fee to send a tech to my house when I moved my office to a different room. Instead, I inspected the cables that are already run to each room myself. 1) they snipped the coaxial connector off of the end of each cable that runs to their splitter on the outside of my house. This is a sketchy practice to rake in service call fees, but whatever, I have a background in RF communications, so I figure I'll just throw a connector on the appropriate cable and switch it out myself. 2) Once I identified the correct cable, and pulled a couple of feet of it out of my crawlspace so I could work with it, I realize that there's an in-line coupler on the cable. Awesome, so all I had to do was unplug the house-side connector of this cable and switch it out on their splitter with the cable that serviced my old office room. They tried to charge me 50 dollars and send a technician with a truck, tools, and everything, who's time could be used servicing customers with actual technical problems. JUST TO UNPLUG A CONNECTOR FROM A COUPLER AND PLUG IT IN TO A SPLITTER. Awful. read more

They re instated service with out our consent. Sent us equipment in the mail. And then charged us 160$. We returned the equpment and called them saying we didnt agree for any service hookup. They just sent the bill to collections. So now we're trying to get collections to return the bill back to spectrum. read more

I'm in the only Spectrum store in Fayetteville NC and the line and the wait is long I was told that the wait time is a hour just to exchange my cable box this is ridiculous it's about 50 people in here and there's only 4 people working why is there only one location. Spectrum has horrible internet service. They haven't tried sending a mew router or anything and for a year my internet goes off almost everyday a few times, usually when I'm in the middle of something 9/15/19 Internet out again today at 12:42pm, I reset it, it started working again.... then @ 1:05 pm , OUT AGAIN!!!!!! read more

I have had Spectrum Phone, Television and Internet for quite a few years. For those of you looking for any or all of those services I have a serious warning. They will lure you in with what seems like reasonable prices, but it won't be long before they will continually go up and up and up. Customer loyalty means nothing to them, and if you complain they'll offer to take services away. However, it won't take long before your price is high again. And, the service gets worse with time. If you like circles going round and round, and messages like "Please Wait" or "Your TV will be right with you" you'll love Spectrum. So very disappointed with Spectrum. I am very blessed to have been unscathed by Hurricane Florence. However I cannot believe that I have been without TV or internet for four days now!!!! Not only can you not turn in equipment but you cannot even ask to speak to a manager. I was nursing my baby, and missed my name as I was walking in and they would not take me. All I had to do is turn in one equipment piece. This is third time and they make it impossible due to ridiculous time frames. I have a 2 year old and a newborn and my husband is active duty military so how am I supposed to wait 3 hours with them in the store? How is this business still open? I asked for a contact info and he gave me the generic 1800 number. This is the third time we've tried to come in. I cannot believe that for such a large company they have NO customer service. Absolutely worst company I've ever worked it's. I would never use this company again. I've been to all of their local locations and they're all absolutely awful. Never start service with them because they make it impossible to turn in equipment and will not give a location to ship equipment back to when you cancel. This is the worst service! If I could give them a minus 10 I would. We switched from Centurylink to Spectrum and was told if I picked up equipment today we could have service on today- and because we have been in Hurricane Florence and it's not done flooding we wanted it on today and we were told it would also save money to pick up the equipment. Which I did and it was so crazy busy that I was there nearly an hour! I went to try and set it up and surprise BS it cannot be set up without the damn person to come do it. I asked why did they lie to us that it could be done by us-Centurylink you can do because we have before!- and why did the ax choke when I finally got the equipment not tell me the hour I wasted there that they would still have to come out in person? Are they the worst, stupidest creeps or just mean running people around for no reason during this Hurricane Florence? Does no o e know what the hell they are saying and doing? I'm sorry I switched because now I doubt their internet is faster because their employees are liars- not everyone- but everyone I've dealt with yesterday today and tomorrow! I attempted to cancel my service on 8/12/2019 as I was in the process of moving to a new home. Spectrum does not let you cancel online so I had to call. There were long wait times so it was suggested I leave a phone number to call back at. I did and received a call. While trying to confirm my account we got disconnected and I did not receive a call back. I called Spectrum again and waited and when trying to confirm my account they could not and said I would have to get my account number. On 9/6/2019 I was able to call back to cancel my service and expected to be provided a prorated amount as I was not going to receive a full month of service. At this time I was told that as of 6/23/2019 they no longer offered prorated amounts of service stating that this was a monthly subscription plan. This information was not sent to me in a separate message nor was this on my May, June or July billing statements. In essence I have to pay for service for 8/31 through 9/29 even though I cannot use the service and they did not adequately disseminate this information. While subscription plans such as Netflix, Hulu or even Amazon Prime will not refund you if canceled in the middle of the month these services can still be used until the end of that billing cycle. This is not the case with Spectrum when this service is not provided at my new home. I have no issues paying for what has been provided but it is wrong to pay for something I cannot receive. RUNNNNNNN!!!!! NOT MILITARY FRIENDLY..... They aren't friendly to anyone. Every time I call the customer service is horrible. The company does not care nor do they want to work with their customers. They are not concerned about keeping your business. The manager Margaret was especially rude cutting my wife and I off in the middle of our explanations. They offer great promotional deals to "new" customers only but don't want to offer the same deal to "TWC" customers forced to convert to spectrum. The advertisement never specified "for new customers only." False advertisement? maybe? Before Spectrum/TWC I was with Comcast/xfinity for 10 years, they worked for our business, as they should do, seeing as we are paying them for their service. If promotional deals were available we had the ability to switch anytime(comcast). I would rather have horrible cable with a company that provided better customer service. Save your money and find a different ISP. They never took into consideration of the fact that we are a military family and moving is common. The guy actually said "it doesn't matter." Please share this to anyone you know. We have had nothing but headaches since Spectrum took over. read more

Time warner cable themselves are a decent company. This particular branch at the mall is the most useless outlet of a company however, they have never answered any of my calls or sent any repair men out to my house to fix any cable problems. When I go to the mall to get ahold of an associate, because that is the only way to get ahold of anyone? They tell me it's not their problem and I need to call customer service. Yet customer service tells me my local outlet store can send me a repair man if I just ask them to. Completely useless. I wouldn't get cable through them. read more

Regarding the brand of Time Warner and the customer service they offer, it's not that great. However, this particular location at the mall will accept payments for bills, which can save customers a lot of time and hassle since they don't have to go to the Raeford Rd location to make the payment. I don't see this indicated anywhere, so I wanted to share the info. I have discovered, however, that you cannot return items such as routers and other electronic devices rented or used at your home from Time Warner at this location. You have to go to Raeford Rd to turn in that stuff. read more
