When I complained, their office manager, a man with an MS degree shut me off and told me I was no longer invited to receive their services. He blocked me from making further appointments. Told me I was not accepted to come back. Why? Think about it. Why? Be ware. When I see Dr. Engel on his television ad, walking down a road to a skippidity do-dah tune, then jumping up and clicking his heals together, pissed me off. I can't do that but he can. I had significant scarring and bruising they looked terrible and she kept telling me how good they were lying right to my face I went somewhere else and they verified how bad they were. They were in shock that this so-called doctor would do this to a patient Sara is so bad at injecting I have a permanent scar from her above my lip. Took three sessions to dissolve. Got them redone at a very reputable place. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Sarah to anybody. She's a terrible doctor and an even worse person. The minute you try to stand up for yourself and advocate for yourself when you know something's wrong she'll treat you like you're being aggressive or hostile when in fact, all you said was, I need this fixed. Called before my appointment to check if they accept my insurance since I don't have deductible and I am 100% covered. Sent them a photo of my insurance card. They confirmed we are in-network. When I came to see the doctor he requested me to pay for the visit. When I asked why when we are in-network, he says that some patients have deductible and they don't want to pay after, so he wanted me to pay right away and when my insurance pay the claim he will refund my money. I said ok because there weren't any reason not to trust him. After 2 days he called me to tell me the results of bloodwork. I asked him what happened with insurance and he said they didn't cover anything. Called my insurance and they said he is not in my network! Called him again asking why they provided the wrong info. They sent me a paper which says we are in-network. I send that paper to my insurance and they called me and explained he just quoted the insurance never accepted them! And I already paid for visit that should be free! What a shame for one doctor! Trust a doctor? Sure! at least they should apologize- sorry for giving you the wrong info and you ended up paying for our mistake! When I talked to the doctor about this issue, he didn't care. He took the money and he is done with you! He should know that one doctor can't afford such a thing If he wants good reputation! So, DON'T TRUST THEM, check with your insurance first! They will tell you that you are in network just to get you in the office. AND DON'T PAY ANYTHING! PAY WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE BILL. Repeating- DON'T PAY BEFORE HE CHARGE YOUR INSURANCE!
