I came in to take off a link of my Breitling and was charged 25$.. What a serious rip off. I'm shocked these people have customers left.

Purchased a Nixon Sentry (great watch) from these guys at 25% off, which is great. Only problem is a couple days later I noticed I could not set the day function as the dial was only turning the day a little bit instead of all the way to Tue, for example. I went in to the store and the guy in the back (daniel) tried messed with the time and tried fixing the day before resigning and explaining it was broken and I'd have to send it in to the manufacturer. I told him that wasn't going to happen as I had just bought the watch from them in store and this was clearly a manufacturers defect. He said they don't accept any returns if the watch has been worn, even if its a defect, which is a ridiculous policy, and then returned me the watch without fixing the time. I asked to speak with the manager and he said come back at the end of the week and basically to piss off. I went to the other guy in the store who was more helpful and actually seemed to fix the problem by explaining that the watch was finicky and needed to be turned slowly to set the day function. 2 stars for an unhelpful, dismissive attendant in the back and a bad (nonexistent) return policy. Took in my Casio G-Shock for a new battery & re-pressurization. Got it back with beads of water on the inside of the face. Took it back, waited another 2 days, and picked it up. Next morning, again a little condensation on the screen inside the watch. Took it in again, and they told be another $35 to open it, clean out, and repressurize. I demanded and got refund. Took it somewhere else, and it came back and has been moisture-free. #FAIL Time Spot read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. Very rude employees. Purchased a new battery last month and within a week, my watch stopped keeping accurate time ( and this is on a $500. watch I purchased from this store). I was then told that if the watch was working when I left the store, it was my problem, (even if they tested the battery and it was not working, I would have to pay for a new battery!) I recently took my high end Tag Heuer watch to have my battery replaced. Because it is a 100 meter divers watch, I had to pay more to make sure the watch was pressurized to make sure it was still water proof. Well about 6 months later the first time I went diving, I found out the that the watch was not water proof. The crystal filled up with water. When I took the watch back to Time Spot to see if they stand behind their work and what they plan to do about it. The owner said it wasn't their fault and they wouldn't do anything. I would HIGHLY recommend staying away for this company. They are rude and broke my $1000 watch and would. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Have had service from employees in the past here and it was ok. Got new watch batteries and such here before. Last week purchased a replacement watch band from the owner of the shop. It was a simple stretch type of band. It turned my wrist green. Talked to manufacturer and they said they don't sell that band any more. Tried to return the band and the owner of the shop- who first refused to say he was the owner- would not return or exchange the band. The band had been expensive for what it was but I had purchased it as a convenience from this place. The owner's complete refusal to take any responsibility or provide any remedy for the problem was appalling. He said he could not take it back because it was used. Of course it was used. That's how I knew it turned my wrist green. Please do not frequent this business. Take the time to go somewhere where they treat you fairly and with some respect. read more

Brought in a Lumi-Nox Navy Seal watch that stopped working. Told by owner a new Swiss movement was needed. Gave go ahead & got watch back & was pleased. 6 months later watch doesn't work. Very likely used a cheap internet movement but certainly not a Swiss Movement. After reading reviews, I won't bother trying to get some warrantee work knowing outcome. My bad for using this place. Go to to Jeweler who specializes in watch repair and pay more but get more. This guy is just laughing at us & ppl keep throwing their money away. Live and learn. read more

I am not one for writing reviews. Wish I have read some before I went to Time Spot. This one needed to be done. I took my Raymond Weil watch to get the battery replaced which I have done before. They asked me to leave it with them for 15 minutes or so, which I did. When I came back to pick it up I was told there was a problem and the watch was not keeping time and needed the movement to be replaced. I was told it would be between $120 and $160 to do this, something did not feel right. I asked questions and got vauge answers, my gut told me to not do it. So I paid for the battery replacement $20 plus tax and .50c because I paid with my CC. My watch has been keeping acurate time after leaving the shop, nothing wrong with it!. Con! I will not be going back to this place. You cannot trust them. read more

Brought in my Tissot for a simple battery change. Price was quoted at $10 then jumped to $12 when he saw my watch. No problem. When I came BACK I was told it would be an additional $35 to make sure the watch was still waterproof... These guys are shady and unprofessional. read more

Do yourself a favor and avoid this store at all costs. For one, their markup on products is just absurd. I understand that a storefront has to charge more for their products versus shopping online but I bought a Seiko sks399 which was supposedly discounted from original price of $240 down to $120 however after going home and researching the for the manual (they gave me the wrong box and manual for it), I found it online for $75-$90.. A ridiculous markup, not to mention the the lack of consideration for insuring the write manual and box. Do not shop here, you will be disappointed. read more

stay away! very shady business!! i bought a watch here for my wife for christmas. the owner fred told me she would be able to return the watch or exchange it if she didn't like it. she came back to the store 3 times to return the watch and their incredibly rude, belligerent and mentally challenged sales people refused the return. once they get your money, they won't give it back no matter what. their motto is "the customer is always wrong." please don't shop here. maybe a good business will replace it in our beautiful mall. owner subscribes to the "arab golden rule" which is do unto others as you would have them do unto you unless you're a sucker"a major cultural mismatch in our community. read more

I also took my dive watch, a non-high end Casio, there to have a new battery. I drove in from Simi Valley on a Tuesday to drop it off. They said they couldn't do it 'till tomorrow because 'the guy' had gone home. Have to pick it up on Wednesday. I drove in again on Thursday and it wasn't done. So I waited twenty minutes while they did it. I did four dives last weekend, the deepest to 90'. No leaks. Poor service but they got the job done. read more

Took my brand new watch to get links shortened on Jan 1st. After 30 minute wait, band was still long for my wrist so asked Hispanic repair guy if I could bring it back to store another day to fix as I had another appointment. Man was extremely rude and flat out said no. Didn't have time to argue re such BS so I just paid the $10.50, but this will be my last visit there. Also took another watch there for battery replacement previously but battery only lasted for few months. I should have learned my lesson first time around. Stay away from this store! I've been shopping online for Skagen watches for quite some time... Was at the mall and saw this cute shop and popped in to discover that they have a huge selection of Skagen watches! The woman who helped me was incredibly helpful and patient as I was torn between two designs... Finally I chose one and was very happy with it as it was much more gorgeous in person (of course). Could've bought it online and saved a few bucks, but personally I like supporting small businesses and my community (a novel concept, I know). They were able to size it for me and I was very happy with my purchase and the service I received. I might check back in a few months and see if that second watch is still available... I have several watches and have been bringing them in for replacement batteries. I have also brought in new watches to be sized. The work was always done quickly and the service people were courteous. The prices for repair seemed reasonable. I have only had excellent experiences there. I hope you do as well. read more

A few months ago, I needed a battery for my Seiko watch. I dropped it off at the Time Spot and picked it up a little later. I paid, but did not ask for a receipt. It was only about $10 and I thought that changing a batter was routine. About two weeks later, the watch started to fill with water vapor. I brought it back and they refused to even look at the watch if I did not agree to have it "pressure tested" for $50. I took it to Fast Fix Jewelry & Watch Repairs in the same mall where they found that the watch was missing the seal, which should have been there after the Time Spot "battery change." Fast Fix cleaned the watch, replaced the seal as well as the crystal for $35 and the watch is working fine now. I guess it is possible that the Time Spot accidentally lost the seal, but there is no excuse for them not making good on their work rather than trying to cash in on their mistake. read more

In every instance I was pleased with pricing, courtesy afforded me and the services rendered. I have had them replace batteries before on both my wife's and my watches. 6 months ago they replaced my battery. The battery died and I went in yesterday and asked how long their batteries should last. They told me 1-2 years, but would not replace the obviously bad battery that had been put in 6 months before. They said there is no guarantee. I cannot continue to do business with anyone that won't stand behind their products, not to mention the smugness with which they blew me off with a tough luck for you attitude. We brought 2 Tissot watches to replace the batteries. We asked if they will send them to Tissot, but they answered no we do it. My husbands watch was OK, but I wanted to measure the pool temperature (as usually) and my watch break down. I went to the shop and they opened my watch and said to me, that the battery is not from this store. So I went the next day to show them the statement of my credit card and the boss said, we don't use this brand of batteries. And he said, this watch had never been waterproof.. The watch is showing waterresistant 30 meter. And he told me he is selling Tissot watches for 25 years and they are not waterproof.. I am really surprised at the reviews. We went in to replace a watch battery. I asked if they would clean my ring. Spent a long time and looks great. I was admiring a Bering watch. I bought a watch from here a few months ago and I was treated very rudely by the employees here (2 older Arab men). I went in to buy a cheap (~$20) Casio watch and when I asked them if they could go over the functions of the watch, how to adjust, etc. they told me to read the manual and brushed me aside. I really don't know if I would have been treated better had I bought a more expensive watch at the store, but they shouldn't be treating their customers like dirt either way. read more

Had a tough watch to size. Within ten minutes he said he couldnt do it. I looked at the side of the links and they were all scratched up from his attempt to size it. Thought this guy was a pro considering hes the owner. The place fast fix by the food court was able to do it. Pretty embarrasing for the time spot guy. BEWARE....This place is an absolute joke. The place sucks. the batteries and watch pins are super cheap quality and overpriced. Even worse is their customer service. They will not honor any of their work and were actually rude...he got into a pissing match with me. I had to stop payment on my credit card because they wanted to recharge me for work done only 2 weeks prior that was substandard...my watch actually broke apart due to the parts that they used (I have never had any problems with this watch until I came into this store!) I refused to repay for the exact same work and am taking my watch elsewhere. I will NEVER step foot in this crappy place ever again. They said that they could reliably change the battery in my expensive, water resistant watch. They did change the battery but when i went swimming it fludded. Really bad, shady business. These people should be ashamed of themselves. I bought 2 watches for gifts 3 months ago. One has completely stopped working, the other one had a part inside on the face that fell off and is floating around in the face. When We brought it in, the guy working there said it's not their job to fix the watch or take it back for us. We have to send it to fossil. This was literally 3 months after purchase. They are just very unhelpful and unfriendly too...Unless you're trying to buy a watch then they are really nice and helpful...never gonna shop there again. read more

I walked into the store today because I didn't know how to set the time and date on my Citizen watch. Since they sell the watch I thought they would be able to provide me the information to do that. The gentleman who helped me wanted me to leave my watch for 30 minutes with them and charge me $15 so they can do that for me. This is the second and last time I'll ever step foot into this place. I know businesses need to make money but charging someone $15 to tell them how to adjust the date and time on watches they sell is ridiculous. It really is a shame that I can't leave less than a one star review. A negative 5 star review might be better suited for this business. As soon as I walked into the shop I was attacked. Like a shark to blood the salesman was instantly upon me. Now normally, I'd welcome a warm greeting, but this was more along the lines of an obnoxious, "What don't you have enough money to buy from us today?" Perhaps it was the way I was dressed, or maybe because I didn't respond to the salesmans' initial cry for money. He immediately noticed the watch I was wearing, made a snark, sarcastic remark regarding it and walked away. At the same time another worker happened to notice that I was looking at their display that carried the same watch brand I was wearing and made another remark. I left upset and feeling judged. No customer should be made to feel inferior for their own personal taste. I had every intention of purchasing a watch that day, but I'm sure they don't need money to stay in business. read more
