    Good service. Owner was polite and helpful. I just needed my watch battery changed and Time Machine offered the best price and service.

    If I could give zero stars I would! This company lies to customers and their tactics to sell to…read morecustomers are fraudulent. BEWARE!!!!! I was looking for an Invicta watch for my fiancé and saw that Fashion Time at the mall sold them. I was interested in a particular one, and was unsure about buying it since it is a fairly large purchase. The young guy at the counter reassured me that if my fiancé didnt like it, I could come back to return or exchange it. I purchased the watch and walked away. I gave my fiancé a call, and it unfortunately turned out that he has almost the exact same model. Since I was still in the mall, I wanted to go back and return it about a half hour later. When I went back, he told me that "all sales were final" and that I couldnt return it. When I questioned him and the sale, he said that there is nothing that he can do. The next day, I went back to the mall with hopes that there would be a different salesperson working, but it was the same person. I asked him about the receipt, and how it says that I have 14 days to return it and how he told me in person that I could return it. His response was that "œthe company is moving and they forgot to update the receipt". I asked for his managers number and he told me they just have the shops number on the receipt. This purchase was not a clearance item, and I found out that it is actually full price and selling for cheaper online. There was no indication of the watch being "final sale". When I also questioned the salesperson he said "Yeah, I know that it is cheaper. We would have price matched the watch for you, had you shown us that". I just can't believe I fell for their lies, lesson learned.

The…read morewoman behind the counter (who later told me she is the manager) greeted me with a frown and an overall bad attitude. She then proceeded to beat on the back of my watch in order to replace the battery. After she handed my watch back to me, I noticed that one of the diamonds on the watch face (8 o'clock) was off and rolling around. When I showed the lady, she told me that I most likely brought the watch in like that (even though I know I did not), and that they could repair it, but that they would charge me. When I insisted that the watch was fine when I came in, she said the repair would be free, but still charged me for the battery change. Needless to say, I'm sending my watch to the manufacturer for repair, and I'm never setting foot in this store again. The employees are rude and not competent enough to even change a battery.

Unfortunately, the experience quickly soured thanks to the cold, dismissive attitude of Helene Cooper, the manager. I mentioned that the ring I had seen online was previously listed at 30% off and asked if something similar could be done in-store. Instead of having a real conversation or offering any kind of customer service, she shut it down immediately with a forced smile and eyes that said, "Don't waste my time." I've never felt so looked down on in a retail setting. I wasn't trying to haggle or beg I came ready to spend and support a brand I once respected. But Helene's attitude made me feel like a second-class citizen, like I had wandered in from the clearance rack with no business being there. In the end, I just used the warranty to get my ring cleaned and left. Any excitement I had about adding to my collection was completely drained. That fake smile of hers reminded me of a toxic high school relationship polite on the outside, condescending underneath.     I took 3 rings to the Lancaster store A ring my husband…read morebought me at Jarad for my birthday that needed to be sized an estate ring to be appraised and resized that was handed down to me A brand new sapphire ring, that when upon purchasing and being shipped to me, the stone was loose when I opened the box, the ring had fallen out of the slot in the box and I believe that's how it happened. It's not an expensive ring, so I simply needed the prongs tightened, and asked if the jeweler could do it while I look around, the reply was, no, he's an apprentice we have to send it out with the other rings. Okay, I leave my rings with them, after paying a bill close to $300 for an appraisal, 2 rings to be resized and a prong tightened. I get my unwearable estate ring back, as it has tiny slivers of gold chipped up on the inside of the ring, and when sliding side to side, picked at my skin to irritation. This was done with their clamps as they resized it, clipping it hard on the laced roped gold. I was in tears with the way my ring was mishandled, as it is a piece that was very dear to me. They took my inexpensive brand new never worn ring, and put it through a dipping process and charged me $100 for things never mentioned or requested, I only need a prong tightened. The 3rd ring bought at Jarad came in fine. As I voiced my displeasure, and told them, no one asked for them to dip the ring that only needed a prong tightened, the management there couldn't comprehend, I didn't ask for anything but the prongs tightened, and IF I was told they were going to do other things to my ring, and had the freedom to choose if I wanted to do all these other things to this ring, but was never given the choice. This was the first issue I had, and called Jared customer service (what a experience that was to get a person) when I finally got a person, I was sorryed to death, with that being their only accomplishment. After weeks of this kind of experience with customer service, they finally escalate, and a woman by the name of Sherry, 330-668-5514 extension 300332 (your welcome), called, more weeks go by, and a phone call in between to ask if I wanted them to take another crack at my estate ring, I replied absolutely not, however they are more than welcome to inspect the damage they did to it, before I take it to an experienced jeweler to get repaired and appraised. She said I'll get back to you. She called me during Easter worship on good Friday, as we were with our relatives and church as my cousin is the pastor. This is not the time to discuss business. I returned her call, and was told, since I am taking my ring to a reputable jeweler, instead of putting this precious piece back into their hands, they can't do anything about it. Need I say, find another jewelry store??
