Great vibes and even better wine! This was probably my favorite tasting in Walla Walla. The reds are delicious and Steve really knows what he is doing. Diamond Cutter was our favorite and we took a bottle home! The tasting room itself is funky and inviting - definitely make it a priority to check out! Great local business to support

Excellent wines. Nice owner. Beautiful tasting room with fun decorations (like a Nintendo controller shaped table). Located downtown. We found parking easily on a Saturday night. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. The tasting fee is $10 and they waived our 2 fees when we bought one bottle. Not many places do that sort of thing anymore. Great value.

We loved the outside area next to the tasting room and the wines were tasty. We will stop here again next time we're in WW.

My husband and I met Steve a few years back when he was working in the tasting room at another winery in town.

The location is super…read moreconvenient-- right along the Main Street and close to a bunch of other wineries, so you can make a whole afternoon (or day) of tasting if you like. The wine itself is high quality. There aren't a ton of varietals, but what they do they do right. I enjoyed being able to compare different years of the same wine side by side-- it really helps you see the small differences. The tasting room has excellent ambiance, and for those interested there is a large bear statue that makes for a nice photo op. The woman who poured for us was absolutely lovely and we had a great chat. Would definitely return!

I'd suggest giving this one a try as it not only has delicious wines, it's got a great story and fun experience. If you're a Twin Peaks/Kyle MacLachlan fan, you'll love this place. Kyle owns the winery and the tasting room staffer Stacey regaled us with fun stories about Kyle growing up in Yakima and his deep involvement with the project. If you're into bears, you will love this place. Is it weird to say that there is such a thing as tasteful bear decor? I think there is and this place has it! Huge bronze bear statue included. And oh yeah, the wines! They are lovely. It was a carefully chosen and fun tasting experience and I recommend!

As my husband and I opened the doors to the building, a hallway with an upwards ramp greeted us. To the right, views of a room full of barrels holding the wines we were about to savor. Straight ahead at the end of the "tunnel," a natural soft light gleamed through floor to ceiling windows. And this was on a cloudy day. We reached the room full of windows and it was instantly the most beautiful tasting room I'd ever seen. I was so happy to be seated in the comfy swivel chairs right next to the window. Although the sky was overcast, it was so pleasant to rest our eyes on the clouds grazing over the rolling hills of the valley. A worker asked if we would like a welcome taste of their sparkling rosé, and we happily obliged. It was delicious. Afterwards, I did the tasting with the lighter wines, while my husband did the tasting of the reds. Of course we both shared sips of everything. A different worker gave us wonderful background info and explanations of each wine we sampled. He even suggested that we try one of the wines at the temp it was given, then warm the glass with our hands for a bit to see how it tasted at that temperature. It was really neat to taste the difference. Another worker with a cool turquoise bolo tie checked in on us and refilled our glasses with water. We felt so wonderfully taken care of. Every wine was delightful, but a few stood out the most... I can't quite remember them all but I believe we really liked the Sauvignon Blanc, a Grenache, and a Cab Franc. We didn't plan on buying bottles that day, but we hope to maybe find them at a store near us. In the end, we absolutely loved our experience at Echolands and vowed we would return the next time we're in Walla Walla.
