Clean and huge rooms. Enough space for us, our baby pack & play and large luggage. The hotel had a Welcoming family/living room as well as dining area to make or store food. A/C in all of the rooms which was perfect to keep us comfortable and drown out the fireworks (4th of July). I've stayed in a lot of hotels in my life but never had the front desk call to check on us. Also they had cookies out when we got there for check-in. That was nice. Breakfast was on par for similar establishments. Would repeat!

We flew into Missoula and spent one night at a downtown hotel before making our way to the ranch. From the moment the RC driver met us in the hotel lobby to the time we were dropped off at the airport we were impressed. The experiences at RC was totally awesome. Each time we would head out with our private guide we embarked on an unforgettable journey. We started off as a family doing the UTV tour of the ranch. Absolutely beautiful and serene time! One of my favorite experiences was the respite by the creeks edge. The staff had made a fire for us, placed some hammocks out, some games and books on our picnic bench. This was of course accompanied by a great bottle of wine and a charcuterie board! Our kids did some fly fishing while mom and I relaxed that afternoon. All of the facilities are top-notch and there is a ton of detail at every turn on this property. Some of our favorite shooting experiences were the rifle range and revolver shooting course with our guides Karson & Robert. The food at RC is an experience in itself and as good as you can imagine. We were lucky enough to meet the new chef Zach and he is truly passionate about his work! His first meal at the ranch was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was absolutely incredible & ultra tasty! The entire staff was so kind and attentive to us which we truly appreciated. Many thanks to Candace to making sure everything was perfect for us! Emily our breakfast server was so kind and thoughtful in the way she greeted & served us each morning! Brett was our dinner server most nights and he was always a joy to be around. He was also quite fast on the 5k Thanksgiving day but not quite as fast as Reed! Overall we had a some incredible expierences and plan to return to RC in the near future!

We were absolutely thrilled with the staff here. They were more than willing to help us with any need we had. Each person we interacted with was so friendly and happy. You don't see that too often. I especially bonded with Sara who came down for a few nights to work there from Coeur d'Alene. I didn't have towels in my room -- within minutes someone was at my door handing me some. The next day they missed housekeeping, however, one call and the lady was coming up to do it. Sometimes hotels have the thinnest walls, and I often hear other patrons walking down the hall, showering or slamming doors. I heard none of that. It seemed to be well insulated. This was a highlight of our stay -- don't let the facade of the convenience store scare you away.

The lodge is a family affair and the owners were really nice. The view from the lodge overlooks the valley, which is beautiful country. In the morning there was a deer that was hangin' out just outside the window. We didn't have a chance to take advantage of all the amenities (hot tub, outdoor fire area, etc.), but if we ever go back it'll be the place we stay.

Searching for places last-second is never fun, and even worse when it's on the weekend and there are a ton of events nearby. Luckily, we got the last rooms here - and at a reasonable rate. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. The hot tub overlooked the valley and the sunset was amazing as it lit up the hills. The beds were super comfy and the rooms very clean and cozy. In the morning we saw turkey and deer. My only regret was not being able to throw a line into the little pond out back. The B&B part is a bit misleading, as they do not serve food. But there is a fridge in every room, and plenty of restaurants in nearby Darby. I consider it very lucky that we were able to stay in this place and would actually seek it out again.
