I keep in touch with another family that bought their puppy through Fall Mist Ranch as well. That family talks to Kris on a daily basis and has also visited the ranch a couple times as well. I understand that every situation is different and I'm sorry to hear your puppy came to his or her new home sick. But, I will not second guess my purchase of a dog through Fall Mist Ranch and possibly one in the future!

I recall seeing 8-10 boarding pens and two other dogs (not her own) boarding, when dropping off my girl; not an enormous facility. Kelley, a SUPER sweet and nice lady, requires current vaccines, maintains a clean and organized facility, and was happy to follow feeding instructions specific to my dog. Kelley's facility does feature large, fenced-in areas for the doggies to run and roam within; definitely appreciated by the doggies! And the pricing is great!!

My husband and I were ecstatic to get a puppy Sharpei. We love our dog Yoda that we received (nunu…read morewas original name.) We dote on her everyday, feed her the best you can get, and treat her as our baby! However within weeks of getting her she seemed to suffer from bladder infections, an elevated WBC, and vomiting became common. She then started having horrific diarhea that looks really gutsy and red. We've spent thousands trying to figure out her tummy issues. If that wasn't bad enough, at 2 years old we were told that she only has one kidney. Since Sharpei's number one problem is kidneys, it was extremely upsetting to find out that she only has one. Then at age 3 she was diagnosed with Sharpei Fever and had occurences of a hurt leg she'd hold up, lots of pain, and fevers. We of course are willing to do whatever we can to give her a good life and a comfortable one, but between tummy issues that last 24 hours, and fevers and pain that lasts 24 hours, her good days are becoming less and less. We contacted Country Wagging Tails and told them of her issues. While they showed a lot of concern and care about Yoda and they offered us another free puppy, it was not comforting when our hearts are breaking over our pup and we would never want another pup from the same genetic line. While I don't usually leave bad reviews, I think ones should be saved from this heartbreak.
