Their boarding services are wonderful and very reasonably priced. We felt very comfortable having them take care of our Great Dane after he got neutered knowing he would receive his medication on time and eat quality food. Now to the vet: Dr. Scott Peters has been our family veterinarian for close to two decades. He's maintained the health of our donkeys, horse, dogs, and cats (yes, it gets noisy sometimes out here!). He saw us thru two donkey pregnancies, has a great after-hour emergency service (which we have used more than once), and helped us keep the feral cat population down in our area by spraying/neutering the ferals my mom would trap and bring in (I think most vets would have told her that was crazy to do). If you need veterinarian services in the Ava area, I recommend the Animal Clinic of Ava.

I purchased a boxer puppy in late 2024 from her and within 2 months realized he had issues. He…read morewould wet his bed as he was sleeping and just lay in it. I took him to the vet thinking he had a urinary infection and found out after taking him to multiple specialists that he had a congenital kidney issue. He was diagnosed at Mizzou Veterinary at 6 months old with kidney failure. My sweet boy ended up passing at 1 year and 8 months of kidney failure. I spent thousands and thousands of dollars trying to get him care and to prolong his life, but ultimately this was a case of a congenital issue. I reached out to Tammy multiple times and she offered an apology but that's about it. Per her puppy guarantee she never offered another free puppy and she never even asked to see his vet records. Looking back I am concerned with how flippant she treated this issue. I am concerned with her claiming she didn't know anything was wrong with the puppy she sold me, as he was urinating so much even at a very young age, there was clearly an issue. I am concerned with how many litters she has at one time and I am concerned she does not selectively breed her dogs. I am also concerned that she does not show the buyer the parents or their living quarters. She has multiple litters with the same dame or stud multiple multiple times a year. She was still breeding the same parents that produced my boy and his failing kidneys which was a congenital issue! He lived a painful horrible life in kidney failure since birth. She loves to fight back in these reviews and argue which again shows me that will not take responsibility for the sick dogs she breeds. I would look into other options for a boxer puppy and save yourself a lot of heartbreak. She is threatening me with lawsuits for leaving this review.
