Something has changed since last my review with this company…read more I wanted to update to echo the experience below with the patron who had a squirrel in his home. I used them for a raccoon incident two years ago-I had to ask them to come out and fix their work at that time-to their credit, they admitted their error and came out-the "barriers" put up had significant gaps. This most recent instance was very poor communication with the office staff-I was given an arrival time of 1051 am the night prior. I watched the tracker and could see my technician driving everywhere besides my home despite being listed as his intended location. I finally called them to ask what was going on because emergencies and delays happen, but I would appreciate some update. I was told he was on his way to me. I called again when it was clear he was parked at their office. Again, I was told that he was on his way to me. Their tracker continued to show he was 1 minute away from me for 30 minutes. It was not until 223 pm (30 minutes after clearly seeing he was at the office) that I received a text message from the technician (not even the office staff who said they would call back) stating he had a small personal emergency and would not be coming. Emergencies come up, but zero communication from the office from 1051 arrival time until 223 pm while continuing to be told he was on his way was not ideal. He rescheduled for the next day. I spoke to someone on the phone the night prior who told me they were adjusting his window of arrival to 845 am and apologized for the confusion. The tracker again showed he was "on his way" despite being at the office. I asked for an update but did not receive one-instead his arrival window changed without communication. I asked for a refund at this point.

This morning my long-time tenants let me know that an exterior bird nest infestation in the eaves had finally become too much for them and the structural integrity of the roofline. Not living anywhere near, I immediately went to Yelp for help. Not only was Code Green Pest Solutions the only company with 5 star reviews, he was the first to respond to my quote inquiry. Travis was amazing. His price was more than fair, he talked with me directly the entire time from start to finish (and he spent a couple of hours there longer than anticipated), and sent me both before and after pictures of his work. He also tried to close-up the holes as best he was able to. Added bonus: the multiple nests caused exterior damage. Travis graciously chatted with me about it and sent me the name of someone he trusts to give us a good quote and do quality work. Considering the age and history of my house, I will absolutely keep him in mind for future pest control work and/or eradication that needs to be done.

They put a one way door and traps; said they would be back every couple of days. When they came back they asked if we heard any noise. Of course we said no, (We work all day & when we come home its dark; squirrels don't move around that much at night). They locked it up with a metal plate and took away the trap. Well guess what.... the Squirrel is still in there. It has been scratching around the metal plate causing HUGE damage in our roof .. and to make matters worse, the squirel decided to go on a road trip and now it has moved to the other side of the house- running up & down the walls! We bought more traps, called Critter control again & the tech said.. "IT should die soon!" (Tech didn't come out) He just told us to mark the wall so once it dies & the smell comes, we can cut it out!! Wait a min... WHAT!! Story gets better... very next day, Squirel scratched his way out of the walls & is now in the crawl space. Called Critter control again; left message. We decided to buy more traps, and a camera. the Squirrel walks up the camera and looks at it. We texted Critter Control showing them the footage - need someone out ASAP - they said they have no techs available. REMIND you this has been going on over a month Jan & FEB! We have now called a different company! We will never use you Critter Control again.

AND, he fixed a little issue we had on our garage door because he noticed it was a little loose!! He was fantastic, so friendly and just all around enjoyable to work with. We've also used him for other pest issues like mice, and we haven't had any issues since! He also does bee rescues which is so cool and good for the world. After Jeff installed the cage around the vent on the roof and removed the traps, the noise had stopped and I thought the problem was gone. However, the noises came back. The noise is intermittent and not every day. I called Jeff again August 25 and he came back out the next day. Since it had been two months, we had to pay the initial fee all over again. He didn't remember me until he was on his way out to the house, but I understand he deals with many customers. He checked around the roof again and saw no points of entry. Only a very small hole near the gutters. He thought it must be mice and did throw the poison we already had up in the attic opening for me. He didn't set traps because he might catch a random squirrel that isn't the attic resident (and we would have to pay per animal that is trapped). He also didn't seem like he could climb up into the attic opening. The noise seemed to go away again, but now I keep hearing something off and on at least four times since he was here. The noise is usually during the day and doesn't sound like mice to me, but of course it rarely makes noise when someone else is around. Jeff is a nice guy and I appreciate him coming out, but I am at a loss as to what to do since my problem still isn't resolved. I am not saying I would not recommend him, but for my particular issue, I need someone that can actually get into the attic and assess exactly what has taken up residence in there. It gives me a very uneasy feeling not knowing what it is or what sort of damage it is doing. But having spent a few hundred altogether so far, I don't know what steps to take without racking up a bill we can't afford. Docking stars on this updated review because I feel kind of left hanging.
