What bothered us most was how quickly the conversation shifted from solving the rodent problem to selling an extremely expensive attic package. The proposal leaned heavily on fear-based language about contamination, bacteria, and long-term damage, but there was very little actual evidence provided to justify a complete attic overhaul at that price. The original service report mainly referenced mouse droppings, bait stations, and recommendations to seal gaps around the home -- not catastrophic damage requiring a $21,000 renovation package. We expected a straightforward pest control inspection focused on identifying entry points, sealing the home, and addressing the mice problem. Instead, it felt more like a high-pressure home restoration sales pitch with financing options immediately offered. Before signing anything with Orkin Indianapolis, I strongly recommend getting multiple opinions from local exterminators and attic specialists. Based on our experience, there are likely far more transparent and reasonably priced solutions available.

The team answered all my questions, always returning phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner. As they did the remediation, they explained things step by step, and even though it was miserably hot I never heard one complaint. Between the heat and the old part of the crawlspace the job took longer than anticipated, but they never cut corners or rushed to get done - in fact, they had to come back the next day to finish because they wanted to make sure it was done properly. I have a new build so when it was finally time to hire an inspector I decided to go with MC2. So glad I did. They were reasonable and the inspection took about 3 hours. It was a smooth process and Greg, my inspector, was awesome. He was VERY picky (which I love) and he pointed out things that I wouldn't have seen. Please do NOT purchase a home without getting your own inspection done (IMO). Greg was very professional, he came in with footies and he had the report done later that night filled the pictures, notes and suggestions. It was definitely useful when I did my walkthrough with the contractor. Building a new home is already stressful but MC2 made it a little easier. Thank you for all your help, it's appreciated.
