The only issue I've had with this clinic is that every time I go there I have a different dentist…read moreor a different doctor. I believe that developing a relationship with your health provider is extremely important. I left Salud because of the constant turnover.

I really can not say enough bad about these quacks…read more A'll I was trying to do was to establish care with a new provider in town. I'm tired of trucking down to Boulder to see my doc. I called for that and the first thing that I get from there phone system is "We provide excellence for every patient." Ok. Great. I am then told that they are "experiencing higher than normal call volume". Now FWIW, phone calls aren't matter and so call volume of calls is a meaningless. Im pretty sure they meant call frequency, and thats ok, but these guys are supposed to be scientists and you'd think they would know the difference. But anyway I then sit on the phone for 10(ish) minutes and then they hang up saying they will call me back someday. Three hours later I hear back and am told that it will take 10 days for a phone appointment with a clerk to do the intake paperwork and that I will need to leave an hour window for the call. I accept that. The day comes. The one hour window comes. And it goes. I get a call a few hours later and we go thru the paperwork. Mainly it seems that they wanted to make sure that I wasn't homeless (I have no idea why) and that I could pay. My medical history did not come up. At the end of this call I ask to make an appointment and am told that I would have to go to the website or call back in for that. So I go to the website, which points me to a mobile app. I install the mobile app and go thru a ridiculous setup process only to find that you can't make appointments in the app. So I call. 10 more minutes on hold which I actually enjoyed - they play Mozart. Then the hang up, and another call back in a few hours. The next doctors appointment is in 10 days. I explain that I will be out of my heart meds by then and ask what can be done. They tell me that they sent a message to the doc and that will be taken care of. A few days later I get a call back saying that can't help me. BTW - my RX can help me. They can extend a two week supply and have before. Did Salud mention that? No. Just told me to point sand. And so I decided to cancel the appointment and go next door. FWIW, I have not called back. I am certain they are experiencing higher than normal call volumes, and that I will wait on hold until they hang up on me, and that it will takes hours to call back. I'm just going to be a no-show. Screw them. Every time I called them the call experience was the same. Higher than normal volume. 10 minutes on hold. Hangup. Call back in a few hours. If a business can't answer it's phones I'm going to guess they aren't very good at Biology either. IMHO these guys should not be in business. Their ineptitude is malpractice adjacent.

You'll never see the same doctor twice because they never stay. I met with some terrific doctors at this practice (Dan, Shannon, Jen), the sad reality is that the dysfunctional managers/ staff make it impossible to retain decent doctors. I was on my 3rd doctor, Jennifer Johnson (she is AMAZING) however like all those before her, she no longer works there. I only found out Dr. Johnson had departed when I tried to book a follow-up appointment. As per usual, the receptionist was cagey with me, never disclosed that my Doctor was no longer working there. Never did they think to communicate this to patients, who pay $1,300/ yr in membership fees. I've been through this THREE times in three years.

I signed up, saw a doctor (Dr. Ryan) the same day. She was quite smart and spend 20 minutes just talking with me about my lifestyle before anything else. Then we spent another 20 minutes talking about my cold, tests we could do and ways I can improve my health. My appointment lasted almost an hour and I left feeling great that I finally have a doctor 1) I love and 2) I don't have to worry about the insurance game to see her. Guaranteed same day or next day appointment so none of the 3 month wait time nightmare that was my primary care insurance. She suggested a gym membership (they have a trial with CAC) and then asked if I needed help being accountable. She is checking in on me the next time I'm in. I've been back twice for various things and have had an absolutely amazing experience.

My first…read moreappointment was the best appointment I've ever had at a Dr.'s office; Dr. Charles has a way of making you feel like her old friend and I felt completely at ease. I had a long list of health questions and possible ailments and she patiently listened to me and took the time to thoughtfully discuss everything I brought up. At one point she even pulled out a physician's encyclopedia-type book and showed me illustrations about a skin condition I've been struggling with. I left feeling empowered and had a newfound respect for medical professionals. After a trip to Belize, I went to urgent care twice and was ultimately hospitalized for a little bug bite on my back. I had half a dozen doctors look at the bite, and every one of them had a different prognosis. When I finally went to Dr. Charles to follow up after the hospital visit, she took one look at my bug bite and immediately knew what the culprit was. I was furious at the other docs that didn't listen when I told them I'd gone to Belize and had numerous mosquito bites. One of them even suggested it was an ingrown hair (highly unlikely and borderline insulting). I was so impressed that Dr. Charles immediately knew I had a botfly and a week later I was healthy, bug-free, and once again awestruck by her knowledge. Last but not least, Dr. Charles always remembers me as if we're good friends, recalling details of my personal life and asking me how I've been since we last met. It's always unnerving to go to the doctor's office... unless Dr. Charles is your doctor.
