The manager Jacob is discriminating on people who have housing vouchers. Harassing a single mom going through cancer and working and taking care of 2 kids. I paid my rent every month but when my lease was coming to a end he said he wouldn't renew my lease when I asked why he said I can't give you a reason why at this time. Then finally he said due to non payment of rent I never missed a rent payment either did alaska housing. He doesn't know how to fill out the notices or the correct notices at all and he never signs the notices. He doesn't know what he's doing and isn't doing any of it legally correct. He text me and asked how my move out was going I responded what move out I didn't get no notice either did alaska housing so both of us were confused I said my year lease isn't even up yet. I told him I don't have anywhere to go. He came back with I guess we can give you a little extra time I said I could lose my housing voucher over this he said we'll I'm sorry to hear thar. I said so what me and my kids are just supposed to pack up and live in my car he said I guess so. He has Harassed me since after I moved in. When asked to talk to his supervisor he gave me a name and number I left multiple msg with her name Rachel never once gave me a call or responded back to my emails. So now I'm living in my car homeless. This man should not be a property manager at all he doesn't know what he's doing and I'm Turing him into fair housing right. Do not rent from timber Ridge 1,700 for a small 2 bedroom apartment no storage only allowed 2 parking permits one for tenant and one for guest and you can't have more than one guest over or the put tow notices on there cars. They don't maintain the property at all. They brought us shovels to shovel the snow the plows came through 2 times last winter and the never sand it was a ice rink last winter nobody puts ice melt or sand down on side walks nobody shovels side walks. The worst place I have ever lived. They don't care about you or your well-being, just your money. Maintenance take ages to get anything done or even come look at your home. The walls are paper thin, you can hear a pin drop in your upstairs or downstairs neighbors apartment. My walls and outlets literally froze from lack of insulation. Door jam for the door repeatedly froze as well due to a gap between the door and frame. The door was definitely not put in correctly. We had a reoccurring roach problem. They're awful when having snow plowed, I had my car nearly buried just about every time they did it. When I contacted the office they just said sorry and wrote it off. I read one star reviews on this place before I moved in and thought "It can't be that bad." It is that bad. Don't move in here. The reasons this place should not be on your list of possible places to live goes on and on. read more

I have lived in three different apartments here at Timber Ridge. I could not ask for a better place to live. Plenty of walking space for my dog. Plenty of parking. Two laundry rooms. The property manager is very kind and professional, that makes you feel like family. The maintenance/housekeeping staff handles all repairs in a timely manner and are very friendly. The snow removal in the winter is great. read more

If I can give this place zero stars I would. This place appears to be handled by con-artist and insensitive individuals. I lived here for almost 3 years and I had a family medical matter that forced me to move back to lower 48. I wrote a notice to management and informed them my last day will be June 30. My lease ended July 14 so just about 2 weeks left. I was even informed that my apartment was already leased starting July 2nd so they needed me to vacate ASAP. So I then decided to leave June 27 so I can completely clear out my apt for the new tenant. I left my apartment clean, even spent whole day prior cleaning and even one of the staff had said my apartment was left in good condition except for MINOR wear and tear (which was mostly due to the earthquake) during the walk through on June 27th. Alaska had a major earthquake in Nov 2018. Now fast forward to today in October after emailing my lease manager to inquire about my $500 deposit, I found out I owed almost $900 less security deposit. They now told me my apartment was not rented until end of July and I had left my apartment so dirty that it "required 8 hours of clean up!" whew what a straight up lie.... I asked how I was NOT informed through email, phone or forwarding address, I got the answer of "oh it's weird that you didn't receive it in the mail, I was going to call you before I submit it to collection division anyway." It's absurd that I had to reach out before I even found out about this matter!!! Also this apartment had thin walls, you can pretty much hear if someone sneezes, Dog Poo everywhere since they don't enforce resident to clean up after their pet and the weed smells occasionally travels through my vent. If you are moving to Eagle River, rent elsewhere otherwise hope that you won't be in the same position as I was. God forbid something happens to you or your family because this management only cares about MONEY! I've lived in many apartment buildings throughout my life and only experience such a negative one at timber ridge! RENT ELSEWHERE!! If you decide to move here, make sure you take pictures before you move out and write down every detail you see before moving in. DON'T GET SCAMMED! read more

This is by far the worst place I've ever rented from. I can hear every breath the people above me make. Management could care less if complaints are made. Maintenance I was promised to have done before I moved in is still not done 4 months in. They let crackheads rent here. Their so called "community policies" are never enforced.
