I hear the coffee here is great so I decided to grab a cup o joe after gym (Anytime Gym around the corner). This location is shared with Wendy's. Tim Horton's is a Canadian Coffee chain. Service/atmosphere: Great! Seeing that there was 7 cars in the drive thru I got my coffee & croissant inside. Lady (older than I) greeted me a nice good afternoon and took my order. Gave me my coffee. Got my food in within a a few minutes. Clean dining area. Drink & Grub: The coffee-Ordered a large dark roast. Straight up black/no creamer/sugar. Strong but not overpowering. The croissant- ordered a breakfast croissant with egg and sausage. Light, flaky, not greasy. Much better than those at dunkin' or Burger King. Watched a show on my IPad while enjoying my coffee and food. Had a good experience. Will come back again. read more

If I was able to leave zero stars I would. I hate to leave this bad review but after my mom's experience today something needs to be said. We are one of those customers that make a stop there everyday and sometimes even a couple times in one day. Today my mom went to pick up her mobil order.. And the younger woman who was giving her the coffee slammed it down on the counter. Having a bad day?? DO NOT take it out on your customers. My mom simply asked for the young girls name and that's when things took a turn. She began to start cussing my mom out telling her she's always causing a problems which isn't true. Then another employed, a young guy, started yelling "just get the f*ck out before I call the police." Call the police for what? because she asked someone for their name. After the girl threatened my mom telling her she knows her name and phone number.. All I can say is I'm disgusted. How do you allow your employees to talk to someone like that when my mom herself wasn't being loud or rude. There is an older lady there who is sweet and always does a good job. But the younger people are beyond rude. My husband orders drinks and he tells them no whip for one of the drinks on the order and then we get up to the window and they put whip. They have ignored that request multiple times. My husband finally said something to them the other day after having let go the other times they ignored his request, and the young girl gave us somewhat of an attitude, and the people in the back were mocking us for not wanting whip cream on it after they are the ones who made the mistake. So i have had a positive experience here before but after my walk in, i have to rate 2 stars. #1 this is never a fast experience. No matter what time of day it is, you're WAITING! Today I walked in there was an older man in front of me, I waited that's fine. Then I was up. I ordered 2 lattes. I watched the girl ring me up, go make 2 espressos. TWICE I saw a girl from the window come and stream my espresso. She apologized and then again. Then i ordered 20 Tim Bits and said no birthday cake, no old fashioned. To order a toasted bagel and it is always cold and barely toasted if at all. I pay $1 extra for "extra cream cheese and it is never more cream cheese then normal. I jinxed us. I made the mistake of saying out loud: I can't believe this Tim Hortons has a 2-star average on Yelp. Up until this point, I'd only had stellar experiences there. So of course we get home and realize the hash browns from my breakfast combo aren't in the bag and my friend's breakfast sandwich has all kinds of incorrect toppings. They are always busy, so clearly they're doing a lot of things right in addition to the things they get called out for doing wrong. And Timbits are basically carb-infused crack rocks. Tonight is the first time I've been to this Walled Lake location in a long time. I walked in and there was one person ahead of me. He was waiting on his order. I waited and waited and waited while one person was in the back singing and making a lot of noise and the other person was cleaning and didn't notice me for a while. When she did she came over and took my order. She was waiting on a fresh pot to finish brewing which I appreciate. However she continued to make our coffee without washing her hands and they had been in a bucket of cleaner water. Not sure what was in it. She then took my bagel and sliced it without again washing her hands. She put in gloves when she put on my cream cheese! What? Why bother now? I got home and my coffee was supposed to be sugar double cream as I always order. It was more double sugar one cream. Yuck. I could just st throw away $5! They had only maybe a dozen donuts TOTAL and you couldn't see the bagels. Who decided this was a great remodel? I won't be going back anytime soon. read more

This is probably the third or fourth time this has happened to us. We go through the drive thru and we order the chocolate dipped donut- and we get home or pull away from the window we have a chocolate glazed donut. It's very frustrating that we order exactly from the picture and still come up with the wrong order. If I don't check the bag, well because I have two kids in the car, then we get home and don't have a donut they like. Which you can expect is very upsetting to my kids. The quality of food is exactly what you would expect from a Tim Hortons: good, not great. The service is where this location is lacking. The employees seem to have a different definition of the work "assorted" than I do. If I order 10 assorted Timbits then I would like more than 2 kinds please. This has happened on multiple occasions, I just don't come here often enough to remember to specify which ones I'd like. For my own sanity I'll just go inside from now on and tell them exactly what I'd like, and everyone behind me can wait while I list out 6 different kinds of Timbits before paying my $2. read more

They are so rude here. Drive thru took about more than 5 minutes to greet me and the car in front of me, at that point there was nobody in the line ahead of us. No hello or welcome to Tim Hortons, the guy asked me what I wanted and before I can even finish saying my first drink he cuts me off and asks if that completes my order. I said NO. I ordered another drink and same thing, I then just proceeded to order 1 more thing and then said that's it. He never gave me my total and rudely told me to go to the window. I get to the window and it's a younger male, I asked for a dom lid and he gave me the wrong lid so I nicely asked "May I have a dom lid please" he walks away and doesn't say anything and as he puts the lid on there he pushed it down with his HANDS all over the lid (gross) and then hands me the drink with his hand still covering the part I'm going to drink out of. Another girl finished off (who was much nicer) and I asked her for an extra lid bc his hands where all over this one. I have been staying in the area for the last week and have been craving some Tim Hortons. There is one by my home in Brighton that is awesome, so I was excited to learn this Tim Hortons was only a mile away from where I'm staying. However, after stopping by yesterday for a caramel latte supreme and paid for an additional flavor shot that I did not receive in my drink. I drank it anyway, but was definitely bummed and did not enjoy it as much as I would have. Today I decided to give it another try, ordering the same drink and still not getting the extra flavor shot. My drink today tasted even worse than the one I got yesterday! The only flavor I can taste is the caramel-topped whipped cream. The coffee itself tastes bitter and a lot like black coffee. I am so disappointed with this specific Tim Hortons. I expected more after waiting in the drive thru line for 15 minutes. I will be headed to a Starbucks tomorrow instead! read more
