It's not good. The chocolate is a hard coating on top of the bowl. The cinnamon roll dough is no longer soft. The cream cheese frosting is thick. The frosting is decent. The roll is hard as a rock. The Boston cream bowl is so-so. The cake is almost like an angel food cake. The cream is bland, not as rich as I had hoped. It's an interesting combination though.

I have been shopping at Superior Home Bakery for years. Whether it be Italian, German, Canadian, Finnish, type meats, cheeses, accompaniments, etc, you'll find it here. They slice to your desired thickness or thinness, whichever you prefer. They offer specialty cakes made to order which are wonderful. There is also a variety of frozen pastas, sauces and meatballs. Ready made pizza dough and other staples in the refrigerator section. The only thing that I have been disappointed with is their shortened hours which makes it difficult to shop during those hours for some. They have also opened a west end location, while lovely, they do not carry as much as the main store on Great Northern Road.

Smell of bacon hits you as you walk inside…read more Staff are warm and inviting. They greeted us upon entry. Ordered a pumpkin butterscotch bar (made today), plain latter with oat milk, green mango tea and a Mediterranean turkey sandwich (multigrain of sour dough) for a shared snack. $21.41 They tend to run out of their cinnamon rolls first thing in the morning. No cinnamon roll. You can add cream cheese, PB and other toppings onto your baked goods. They do charge a CC surcharge. The pumpkin butterscotch is overwhelmingly heavy with the butterscotch chips. The pumpkin flavor is nice. It's a tad dry. Would like it better with chocolate chips instead. The latte with oat milk is good, the coffee is flavorful. The Mediterranean turkey was ok. The multigrain was extremely hard, the kind that will tear up your mouth. Not a lot of hummus to it. It's good it has the yellow peppers or it would be really bland and tasteless. The green mango tea is good. Good flavors. Perfectly steeped. It's quiet in the seating area, louder hearing the staff's conversations in the back kitchen area.

Tim Hortons on John Street has really downgraded in quality over the years. If you visit the place…read moretoday, you'll find drug addicts littering around both the entrance and the exit to the property as well as the doors to go inside. Sometimes they are sober but I've seen them incredibly high, violent, and even overdosing on the front lawn. It got so bad the city had to remove the bus stop cover there as they were actively using in it. And that's just the crowd that frequents. At around noon everyday, the ice cap machine is always down. Even in the middle of summer and during a heat wave it's down. I have gone to gather breakfast and they have been out of many bagels and baked goods, mind you this is before even noon. The service quality has also gone down. Very few of the workers speak clear and fluent English and those who do seem to not work the register or the window. Because of the communication barrier, orders are consistently wrong. Even simple ones such as a coffee with just 1 milk and 1 sugar. It's just ridiculous. Overall, myself and many of the residents that live near this Tims, are not pleased with how it's operating. If you're passing another one on your way to wherever, don't pass it up in favour of coming here. You will be disappointed.
