The goods: I would love to jump on board with all of the 5-star reviews but the reality is that the food here is basic. I ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon and this came with potatoes. The breakfast sandwich was made with no egg. The waiter quickly rectified the situation by going to get a fried egg which he brought to my table. That being said, the breakfast sandwich had zero seasoning and was therefore quite bland even with the bacon. The potatoes were nicely fried and they were not oily but again, no seasoning whatsoever. It was a bit disappointing. The saving grace was the coffee, which was delicious. Service: OK Price point: Pricing is average and on par with most places.

And trying to converse in French even though I'm not good is appreciated. Ambiance is good, but there are communal tables, which I'm not a fan of. Not a big deal at all though, especially considering how consistently excellent the food is. The baked goods are all fantastic, too. Great breads, and sweets. We didn't see mum, but the son and dad were super friendly. The food was everything you would expect for Sunday brunch. Nothing super fancy but we were certainly not disappointed. The only minor complaint was that they took ages to clear the tables.Their focus was on the customers that were already there rather than clearing the way for more. When we sat down they cleared our table fast enough, and then we had lots of great serviec, but it was almost like they waited till someon sat down before they bothered. We'll be back.

The lowest price item is 48 and everything else is 50, so what is at 40. Next, the food. I ordered the bavette with frites. The fries were either black or a very dark brown. I refused them. So they replaced them with an order exactly the same. I couldn't accept that either, so we agreed to give up on the fries. The bavette was only slightly burned, so it was edible. The choice of red wines by the glass was so bad, I had a beer. If you're visiting St Sauver, try another place for dinner.
