We decided to stop in St-Adele village on the way back from Mont Tremblant based on a…read morerecommendation of a friend. Parking is free. Resto size is relatively big and you can either opt to eat on the terrace or inside. Street was pretty busy (loud) so we opted for a quiet corner inside the cool restaurant. Service was very friendly and quick. Family friendly. Menu is huge... they provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu book was heavy, lol. The recommendation was for their sub and that's what I went with along with some onion rings and they were simply delicious!!! The sub was stacked with the goods and filled me up quickly. Love the gratin cheese! I would totally love to have seen a picture of my face after the first bite, hahaha. My only complaint would be the dressing should have been a little more generous, perhaps by the means of a small cup for dipping. Bread was perfect. Pricing is a little on the high side of things but the value is totally there. 100% recommend.

Location: In Ste. Adèle village. While it doesn't look like it, you CAN park in front of the…read morerestaurant (no meters, either) or in the public lot that is just past the restaurant. There is no fee to park there. The place: The restaurant is a fairly good size with plenty of seating indoors and limited seating outdoors. The caveat here, is that if you sit outside, it can be VERY noisy, as the terrace is just off the main road. Locals do love this place so it can be busy on weekends. The goods: Since they had a table d'hote menu, I opted for that. I had the butterfly shrimp with rice, vegetables and Greek potatoes. I don't have anything negative to say about this other than I would have liked more veggies. The shrimp were delicious and there were way more then I expected! My mum ordered the same thing and we were both very happy with our dishes. The portions are very good for the price. My dad ordered the filet mignon, which I know, you might hesitate to order in this type of restaurant. That being said, he thoroughly enjoyed it. I don't think you can go wrong with anything that you order here - the food is solid, the portions are good and you leave with a full belly. Service: Good. Price point: You get good value for the money. I picked up the bill but don't remember exactly how much it came out to.... I think with tip, it was about $90. If you're in the area, John le Grec is worth checking out!

I am extremely disappointed with the experience my family and I had at this restaurant on Mother's…read moreDay morning. We are visiting from Toronto and have never experienced such an unpleasant situation at a restaurant before. We were looking forward to enjoying a nice family breakfast, but unfortunately this turned into one of the worst restaurant experiences we've had. We arrived around 10:30 AM, placed our order promptly, and received our drinks fairly quickly -- but then waited over an hour for our food. The restaurant only started getting busy closer to 11 AM, long after our order had already been placed, so blaming the delay entirely on the rush is unacceptable. When the food finally arrived, the plate my meal was served on was visibly dirty. At that point, after already waiting so long, I chose not to complain and just tried to enjoy the meal. Our server was kind, apologetic, and clearly doing her best. She even offered to remove three $7 juices from our bill because of the excessive wait. However, when the manager came to the table, instead of handling the situation professionally, he approached us aggressively and immediately asked, "What's the problem?" in a rude and confrontational tone -- despite the fact that I had never asked to speak to a manager. The situation became even more uncomfortable when the server explained that SHE was the one who offered the discount, and the manager proceeded to argue with her in front of us and the entire restaurant. It was incredibly unprofessional, embarrassing for the employee, and extremely uncomfortable as a customer to witness. No employee deserves to be spoken to that way publicly, especially by management. To make matters worse, after humiliating his own staff member in front of customers, he only removed two drinks from the bill instead of the three that had originally been promised. At that point, we were so uncomfortable we just paid and left without arguing further. For such a large and well-known restaurant chain, this level of disrespect, poor management, and lack of professionalism is shocking. The only positive part of the experience was the server, who genuinely tried her best in an obviously stressful environment. Unfortunately, the manager completely ruined what was supposed to be a special Mother's Day breakfast with family. I do not recommend this place at all and will definitely not be returning.

They…read morehave taken great Covid measures inside with only the second floor being open to dine-in (so I guess filling half the capacity). Upstairs it is small but clean and cosy. The tables have been separated quite well so you don't feel you are eating with your neighbours. Customer service was excellent, they were swift in preparing a table for us, taking our orders and bringing over coffee. I love how extensive the menu is with so many options to choose from, suiting nearly every type of diet. There are plenty of vegan/vegetarian options and also gluten-free ones, also with customizable options for plates such as replacing potatoes with arugula salad etc. Prices are reasonable and the portions were quite generous, I really enjoyed the onion mashed potatoes and my husband loved the beyond-meat sausages. Lovely experience, highly recommend!
