As with many gluten free bakery items they can be a little on the sticky side but I enjoyed it just the same. The lady who served me was very kind and welcoming. I avoided hitting Casino Rama's swanky restaurants and buffet. I stopped by this Tim Hortons instead. As mentioned, there were at least twenty people ahead of me, waiting. I'm ridiculously patient and braved it. I figured out that I needed to be in the left lineup to place my order. If you have an order where some food assembly is required, you have to wait on the right. I had a super nice woman at the counter who was coughing. I asked if she was okay. She said that she was and that the air was dry. I get it. I ordered an apple fritter and a small iced coffee. Perfect! I got my Tims rewards barcode scanned from the app on my phone. It will take me another half a year to get a free reward at this rate! My order came to $5.06. Hey, I'm at a casino. I expect inflated prices. I thanked the woman and left the store. All tables and chairs were taken in the cafe. Casino Rama doesn't have enough seats around the joint to accommodate folks who want to sit down. I stood in a corner, and ate and drank. My apple fritter was fresh. As expected, there was a lot of sugar around the fritter. I am still on a sugar high. My iced coffee was yummy. It wasn't all that sweet. I liked how the male barista was very friendly to the customers. Seating is pretty limited, and you have to pay for parking if you're planning on staying here to chill.
