Their standard barista blend is very well balanced as either a cappuccino, an espresso, or a cortado. Their decaf blend was equally good. I loved the available spinach turnover, the maple turnover, the regular croissant, and the pistachio croissant. It was an absolute pleasure to start our mornings here between 6:30-7:00 AM and just decompress before launching into the day's activities. We will happily return on our next trip! It's located in the very popular office park on Lebourgneuf. it's great to see a local outfit option instead of the brown river water that Tim Hortons offers up. The vibe in here is nouveau yuppie. It's a place that's more comfortable than a Starbucks but similar in interior design. Soft accents make for a comfy experience place for you to hold a small meeting or place to pop in for work during the day for an hour or two. Their coffee is outstanding also. On my few visits I've had their Cappucino in a small format which has been quite creamy but nice and strong. Not sure the blend of beans that they use but on the TV monitors they show what looks like a ecological sustained production of coffee. The video plays in a loop but it's eye catching as you are trying to glance up. The clientele is more upscale and professional working people. Just a word of caution we found out on a few visits a few peeping nosy customers appearing to listen into our conversation. Remember Quebec is not a huge city so you may want to speak in code if your business or conversation is of more a private nature. This is a great place for coffee. We also shared a raspberry chocolate pastry which was okay. Maybe better if it was toasted but it wasn't offered as an option. My mocha cappuccino was deep in flavor and cocoa powder, not syrup, was used. Even with the almond milk it was still rich and the milk to coffee ratio was just right. The americano was a good cup. Interior is clean, modern and cozy. Seating is generous and spacious. Their counter is nice and centered. Our barista was efficient and friendly. Would recommend this in the downtown area, about 1.25 miles away from old Quebec.

You can even get latte for this combo if you want. Everything was delicious and I liked how I could go upstairs and sit in a quiet area to relax and people watch by the windows. I do wish I asked for my coffee later though. By itself, it's absolutely delicious... but it didn't go well with the pepper soup. And by the time I finished my sandwich and soup to work on my coffee, the coffee was cold. I could see myself coming back again if I lived here and didn't want to try other coffee shops.

The waffled croissant had a nice chewiness while still retaining the croissant's original butteriness and some flakiness. Recommended if you're looking for something a little more cozy not on the main downtown route.

It almost seemed like a secret spot since the sign outside is only their logo, no name. (This may have changed since then.) The interior was brightly lit, with a single shared high top table and several stools. The menu is minimal but well curated, with a condensed coffee menu and one tea (pu'erh) listed at the time. But it has exactly what we needed. The staff was so friendly and taught me the French word for oatmilk (their vegan milk option). Otherwise they serve their drinks with whole milk from a local farm. The Tall Man got the Chemex with their Brésil roast, while I got a decaf oatmilk cappuccino. My capp was nice and fruity, made with a light roast that still came through with milk. The pourover was also a hit. He also got a croffle without toppings. It was just sweet enough to satisfy and made for a crunchy/tender afternoon snack. The cafe was an ideal place for a pause in our day. As the afternoon wore on, it got more crowded and seemed to already have a number of regulars, which was a great sign for a place that seemed like it had opened for just a few months. Both dogs and toddling children allowed! It's a small space, though, so we were lucky to be able to linger before it got busy. Space is quite large and it appears to have a viewing area to see bakers making the bread/pastries. It even has a large corner designated for kids to play in! We asked the owner if we could have some baguette with butter which he gladly obliged. He took a fresh baguette and sliced about half of it into diagonal pieces, put some butter on the side for us and let us have at it. We also had a cappuccino and latte - both were good. The baguette was nice and fresh, good for a bakery but it's hard to mess up a baguette. Towards the end, we tried a Choquette and that was really, really good. Really enjoyed the light crunchiness and the sweetness of the pastry. Perfect sweetness level and so crispy. I probably could have eaten a ton more if I had less self-control and had more money to spend. It probably pairs really well with a coffee. The owner was nice and only charged us 1$ for the half a baguette - I guess he planned on using the rest of it for other things during the day or just a really nice guy who knew we were tourists in the area based on our terrible French and his resorting to speaking to us in English. We did notice this place seems pretty well known to locals. Tons of people would come in looking for a specific loaf of bread or purchase a mass quantity of croissants at a time. One lady bought a bunch of pastries and let her kids to play in the kid's play area. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area if you need breakfast or an afternoon cappuccino or latte!
