What the heck is Dalbodre? If you tried googling Dalbodre, aside from this very cafe's related…read moresite or info, you may be able to find a restaurant in Seoul with this name (minus the word Cafe). Otherwise, every site is related to their cafe. I guess it's not a bad idea to give your business a unique name where your business' info just pops up immediately, hit after hit. Whether it's by design or not, good for them. Cafe Dalbodre is a cozy Korean cafe that is tucked away from the tourisy side of Niagara Falls and quite close to Great Wolf Lodge, with the casino in view. What really grabbed my attention was how affordable their drinks were. If you were to get the same drinks in the GTA, I swear we are looking at $6-7. I really like the iced Dalgona coffee that I got. Coffee was very aromatic and flavourful. Not very sweet when I first drank it, but because the honeycomb gradually melted the drink became sweeter as it went along. I also got a dark chocolate gyoto cake to go. It was simple, but quite enjoyable. Whip cream on top with some crunchy chocolate bits. The cake was rich, chocolatey and not too sweet. I'd prefer it to be even darker, but that's just me. Nonetheless, I still enjoyed the cake. Now when I asked the shop owner what gyoto means, she said it meant chocolate in French. From my limited Gr. 11 French, I don't recall that word meaning chocolate in French nor does the word sound like French. Yet another mysterious word coming from this place. Now when I asked the owner which drinks are the most popular, while not impolite, but she directed me to the starred item on their menu. I guess she's not the talking type? But she certainly wasn't exactly Ms. Sunshine. I'm still very much a fan of Cafe Dalbodre, but just don't expect a great deal of hospitality. Btw, I still have no idea what Dalbodre is.

A Korean cafe about 10-15 mins outside of the tourist area. This cafe has a variety of drinks…read more(Refer to photos) to choose from including bingsu (shaved ice) and some desserts (cookies, cakes, etc.) as well. I came here on a Monday in the morning and it wasn't busy at all. It was quiet and a very clean space. There weren't a lot of food options for an early morning but I tried their Iced latte. It tasted OK and price was fair. Overall, I may come back to try their bingsu if I'm in the area and it's not too far walking distance but I'm hoping service will be more friendly and approachable.
