We were excited to try Tim Horton's for the first time and it seemed like there was one just about every 2-3 blocks in Niagara Falls. We visited this location 3 times during our 4 day stay in the area and enjoyed our iced drinks very much. We also had the opportunity to try some of their breakfast items and assorted pastries. They also offer a variety of savory items which are available at lunchtime like flatbreads, deli sandwiches, and rice bowls, all things I wouldn't expect to see in a coffee shop. It's been years since I'd been to Tim Horton's in both Windsor and Toronto and my memory is such that I recall them only selling delicious donuts back then so was a bit surprised they were selling food there but probably shouldn't have been based on today's times. After visiting the Niagara Falls, I decided to give Tim Hortons a try on a cold night. I was highly recommend to try Tim Horton when I visit Canada. I heard their coffee is really good. I went through the drive thru and it was busy but the line had moved fast. I ordered the Latte and my mom ordered the Hot Chocolate. When we got up to the window to pay. We had a problem with the payment. Apparently, Tim Hortons do not accept American Express cards and we didn't know. The lady at the window yelled and said "your card was declined". She said it in a rude tone as she was trying to embarrass me. I really didn't appreciate her attitude at all. I told her that we have money on the credit card and that's when she said we don't accept American Express cards anymore. I gave her another card and it was approved. I waited for her to hand me my receipt. No receipt was given. I kindly ask her may I have a copy of my receipt please. The coffee and hot chocolate was very good. I think Tim Hortons is worth stopping too, but unfortunately I didn't have a pleasant experience at this location. They have a breakfast selection plus sweets like donuts and muffins etc. Coffee can be ordered but they fix it for you. It was quite busy there was a line almost out the door. Unfortunately their kiosks were not working....that would have made it easier for them. I wanted something savory and so did my husband. I got the classic (I just love the classics ) while my husband had a breakfast grilled wrap. The taste was good just like any breakfast sandwich nothing to make your tastebuds scream of WOW, coffee was coffee LOL BuT it was more affordable than surrounding places! Went to this Tim Hortons in NIAGARA FALLS - an Asian descent woman was not speaking clearly or the demeanour of her tone was not very polite when I simply asked for a jammed on my bagel double toast. Im assuming this is the go to spot for donuts & coffee, there is one on every corner. The one small Krispy Kreme that I saw had a long line out the door in Toronto, which is the closet, 1.5hrs drive. The drive thru was quick, staff friendly, and Yes, my pumpkin spice hot chocolate and donuts hit the spot! They were a good size, fresh tasting and not greasy. No comparison to Krispy Kreme, but this will do until I get back down south. If Im in the areas I will for sure visit again. We were curious to try this chain restaurant, so had lunch there. The first one we went to didn't have any grilled chicken, so we went to this one. I ordered the cilantro lime chicken power bowl, asking for very little rice and more lettuce. My husband ordered a combo meal with a sandwich, potato wedges, and a frozen cappuccino for the beverage. I don't think they went light on the rice because it looked like quite a bit. The bowl was delicious anyway. The chicken was very flavorful and all the flavors melded well. If I go again, I'll probably ask them to make it a salad with no rice. My husband's sandwich was just ok, the potato wedges weren't very hot or crispy, they didn't have any ketchup for them, but the coffee was very yummy. We were headed home this morning, and stopped through the drive thru for a quick bite for the drive. We decked on the sausage biscuit with cheese, hash brown and orange juice. And also the egg and cheese biscuit with a hash brown and an orange juice. I wasn't to say this is comparable to McDonald's. Except it entirely knocks it out of the park. The quality was pretty good for fast food breakfast and the price was literally unbeatable. For both of the meals listed above it was under $10 American. I was sooo impressed. Literally speechless. The two cashiers who helped us at the window were wonderful and we had our food quickly after we paid and we were on our way! In 1964 Tim Horton Doughnut Shop opened in Hamilton, Ontario on Ottawa Street by longtime professional hockey player Miles Gilbert "Tim" Horton who played Canadian professional ice hockey, he played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, New York Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. This location was okay I used the drive through after noticing a lot of rift raft in the parking lot and a number of opportunist leaning against the building at the front entrance. The service was good and the product was great as always but unfortunately I don't find myself stopping here again since there are much better locations that are hassle free or at least don't have the negative stigmatism attached to them.. read more

This was my first Tim Hortons I have visited on my vacation to Canada. The coffee is really good. Not just for a fast food place, but for real. I am impressed 'cause I am a snob about my coffee. Most breakfast places charging $3+ american are not as good as this. Also, out sandwiches were right on, warm and tasty, not as if they were sitting out for too long, like the SB's often are. And for the price, in Niagara Falls, this is the perfect fit for a tourist such as myself. This was our first trip to Niagara Falls and first time ever even seeing a Tim Hortons. Unsure as to what exactly they sold we just noticed they were constantly busy. Sun up and sun down! They literally messed up every order in front of us (5 orders). They were rude to everyone and told customers it was their faults that the orders were wrong. This location was a short walk up from our hotel so we decided to grab some breakfast before we checked out on our last morning in Niagara Falls. The line was short and there was plenty of seating. I ordered a sausage english muffin, a hash brown, and two timbits. The timbits are little doughnut bites and they are delicious. The breakfast sandwiches are good and I love the hash brown. There's not really much you can say about this Tim Hortons that hasn't been said about every other Tim Hortons. The quality of food, drink (and lineups) are consistent across the board. We stopped in here for a quick lunch before heading over the boarder and grabbed the coffee, sandwich, doughnut combo. It tasted exactly the same as the combo I had in downtown Toronto last month and the one I had in Pickering last year. There's a lot to be said for 'consistency'. I honestly believe that the only difference between locations is the level of service you receive so it truly is the people that make or break this chain. At this location, the service we received from all involved was okay... nothing outstanding, just okay. It wasn't particularly fast or overly friendly but it was efficient enough to meet our needs so I can't complain. I will say a kudos to the staff member that took our order though. When I mentioned that I would like to have the very last apple fritter, he left immediately (and in mid-sentence) to go grab it so no one else could get it. We discovered Tim Horton's soon after we arrived in the Niagara Falls area for a family mini-vacation; I must have my espresso coffee first thing in the morning no matter where I might be, and Tim Horton was my salvation! Their breakfast meal choices were also reasonably priced and good. They had the usual breakfast sandwiches such as egg, sausage, bacon, turkey, cheese, and even steak on your choice of breads; croissants, biscuits, bagels, wraps, etc. They are known for their donuts and even though the selection was limited, they had the popular choices such as honey dip, maple dip, glazed, Boston Cream, etc. They were denser and richer than we are accustomed to, but good! Other pastries offered in their menu are Timbits, (donuts' holes), muffins, cinnamon rolls, Danish, etc. For those more health conscious there were choices of fresh oatmeal or yogurt with fruits. I reluctantly gave this place 4 stars rating because of the serving process we observed in the two locations we visited.
