I love donuts and sadly for me, I moved to a new town where my old way to get my donut fix (Dunkin Donuts) is too far away to make the effort. So I had been looking for the nearest best place where I can feed my need for doughy sugary goodness! Pat's is a great donut shop! They are fresh, made in the store constantly. The donuts are amazing and addicting. They have the ones you can expect glazed, powdered, chocolate, etc and some unique ones... for instance they had Bacon Maple Donuts and Pumpkin Spice Donuts. They also make cookies, danish, brownies and other baked goods. If your not in the mood for baked goods they also sell breakfast sandwiches, subs, hot dogs, pizza (both breakfast and regular), and ice cream. I have only tried their cookies and donuts and can tell you they are amazing! I am curious about the other items and may have some in the future. Their coffee, though, could use a lot of improvement. If you are looking for great donuts in Delphos/Van Wert... check out Pats!

My whole family can be happy with the different choices here, even the picky eaters.

She ordered the French Soda and the breakfast sandwich and I did a custom iced latte (white chocolate and pistachio with almond milk) and the smoked Gouda grilled cheese. Everything was very good and perfectly made. They did run out of eggs that morning so my friend's breakfast sandwich was just a bagel, cheese, and bacon. They didn't have any sauces to add to it. The workers were so friendly and helpful. They clearly know the regular customers and they stayed busy. My friend and I aren't familiar with Van Wert and the staff was happy to recommend local businesses for us to visit while he hung out. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was busy, but there's ample seating so it was fine. It was cute inside and the enjoyed the exposed brick walls.

Question: Who does…read morenot enjoy a good donut!? I am not speaking of a donut from your local DUNKIN (this is not a shot, dunkin-your iced coffee is boss! Lol). This spot got a second date out of me,and this time in, I wanted to show some yelp love. I have been to Lima Ohio more than I would like to share for reasons that are my own. Lol But finding this donut shop as I headed to the expressway was a joy! It's really simple. There is fried dough. There is fried dough flavored assorted items in all the ways fried and assorted lol(did you catch that?) And there is plenty of ways to have your fried dough at PAT'S! The word is that this place has multiple locations and Lima has 2. This location was my first stop. *waving at Adrianne* Adrianne works at this location and answered all my questions. She was so kind. Being I am a resident of Illinois, I was passing through for the last time in my life (I pray), I wanted a particular donut to bring home. They were out. No worries I shared, I will ride over to the other location I stated. Adrianne called for me! She was a doll! However, NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE. *crying*. We were gonna see if they had the wonderfully fried dough at the other location, however after 4 calls, no one picked up. And guess what, they are open 24 hours!!! So strange. So, we grabbed a couple boxes of fried yum yum, and still drove over to the other location. New location-2102 Elida Road, Lima Ohio. There I spoke with Erica, after waiting 5 minutes for anyone to come and service me, in an empty doughnut shop with no customer's inside. Hmmmmm...*thinking*... Pretty busy place? The phone as I am waiting to see a human, is ringing off the charts!!!!!! And it does not stop! Nor did I see anyone answer it. It just kept ringing. Well, that answered the questioned about Adrianne calling and what the end result was at the other shop. When Erica emerged from the back, She greeted us. I explained i had come over from the other shop. And unfortunately the fried dough I came over to this location for-they were out of it as well. Apple fritters are clearly a hit! I know, I had 1 before. Lol! They are big, fresh fruit, nothing like I have eaten as an adult from the donut shops near my home! SO GOOD. I asked why no one ever answered the phone, she said they were busy with "DoorDash orders". They also sell breakfast sandwiches, breakfast pizzas, dessert pizzas.. Assorted sandwiches, soups and ice cream(soft serve). They have a variety of yum yum in this small spot. There were several workers in the back though... not sure what happened with those phone calls. But Erica was kind, she answered all my questions and even tossed a pastry in my bag on the house. *SCREAMING* THANK YOU ERICA! So, if yiu are ever in Lima Ohio for whatever reason, stop in and enjoy SOMETHING, as there is alot to choose from. But i suggest getting their sour dough doughnut/cream cheese donut. I place mine in the microwave for a few seconds to make it soft and warm.. OMG!!!! DEEEELIGHTFUL! As always, you don't have to take my word for it, GO GET YOU SOME!

Extremely disappointed then because I had paid for two medium cones, which would've been $6.50. I told her I would just take an additional pint, which was six dollars each in which the young lady come back to the window telling me I then owed her more money. Math is pretty simple. 650 exchange is almost even up with tax for a six dollar pint of ice cream. Zero rating for customer service and supply of what you have listed on your board. Guys it's a small town and meeting. Customers expectation is important. If I've experienced that two different times in three months in both visits, what do the people who visit this place regularly experience. Very disappointing.
