Today I treated myself to their beef barley soup and found it to be rich and satisfying. For dessert I had a slice of excellent carrot cake with a cream cheese frosting. So yummy! Sweet enough, but not cloying. And it's carrot cake - carrots are veggies! I felt quite virtuous while I scarfed it down.

The cinnamon bun was huge and more bread-y than sweet, which I really liked. It had such a great flavour. We wanted to grab some pies too but we couldn't bring them on the road with us.
