The pastry girl greeted us but the servers were so flustered that I had to flag them down to tell them I had a reservation. My first time here I loved the girly decor but this time all I saw were dirty dishes on the table. The servers looked stressed and one girl even dropped a tray full of glasses. There was a long wait to order, get our food, and get our bill. My friend ordered the pork belly eggs benny and it was as delicious as last time. I ordered the truffled mushroom frittata and it was nothing special. It was mostly overcooked eggs with mushrooms and a slice of toast that tasted plain. I told the server it was my friend's birthday and I wanted something special for her. Last time I ordered creme brûlée and they put sparklers on it and "happy birthday" with icing sugar. This time their dessert options were all brunch items: tiramisu French toast, chocolate French toast, hot cakes. None of them sounded appealing and they brought out vanilla ice cream in a small bowl and presentation was pathetic. This place has gone downhill, will not be returning.

I would just order more friend chicken next time. well cooked, crispy pork belly too mmm. Price was decent as portions were generous. Service was friendly, and the food took a moderate food amount of time. We went at 2pm to eat brunch, so hoping that it wouldn't take longer during more peak hours. Parking is a bit of a hassle as it's underground parking. A bit of a trek to come to the restaurant, but I think that's the norm now in greater Vancouver area. Sadly the norm is also paid parking with no validation. But I won't dock off points for the restaurant for that Their menu rotates, so I would love to come back and try something new.

This is a good alternative for coffee if you don't want to go to the super busy Timmy and Starbucks here.

Quiet in the morning with most people having coffee to go. Service is great. They will bring your food and coffee to you when dining in which is unexpected. The flat white is ok, could do with more microfoam but it's good enough. The pastries are really nice. Get the croissant warm up for a better bite.

The ambiance was your typical coffee shop -- quiet with soft lofi music playing in the background. There were high and low tables, some with comfy/soft chairs, while others had the bar style chairs. The tables each had the wifi password so for those staying a while and needing internet while working, you don't have to ask the baristas for the wifi password. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is I wish they would've provided more baked goods or food options. They had one sandwich option when I came in before 11am, a bagel option, and just a handful of different pastries. The shelves looked half empty so I'm assuming there's normally more options? Still good to try if you're wanting good coffee in the area.
