We orderes food and drinks together since we had plenty of time to check out them menu while waiting on the server(restaurant may have had a dozen tables total). Table next to us stayed dirty the entire time we were there, nobody cleaned it. Then there's the food. Breakfast poutine, so salty that I couldn't even eat it, hardly any curds and such a small portion for the $17.50 charge. I ate the egg on top and 3 bites of the rest and couldn't finish. Server came over just as I was taking my first bite asking how it was(I didn't even know yet). Had to flag the server down as he didn't return to the table again. Told him it was inedible, he apologized and asked if he could get me something else but we had been there too long as it was and I was by this time thoroughly disgusted so we just wanted the bill. The meal stayed on the bill, not even discounted, and it was inedible. Bad service Bad food No follow up Would take something special if I were to return to try again

The restaurant took our name and phone number and told us the wait would be approximately 30 minutes. We returned after waiting 40 minutes only to be told their system wasn't working and they were no longer seating customers. The problem isn't that their system failed--things happen. The problem is that they already had our name and phone number and made absolutely no effort to contact us. If we hadn't walked back to ask, we would have continued waiting indefinitely for a table that was never coming. We even offered to pay with cash, but they still refused to seat us, despite having put us on the wait list 40 minutes earlier. They simply dismissed us. This showed a complete lack of respect for their customers and our time. A simple phone call or someone stepping outside to notify the people waiting would have taken only a few minutes. Instead, they chose to leave customers standing around with no communication whatsoever. There are plenty of restaurants in Collingwood that value their customers' time. Based on this experience, this isn't one of them.

I didn't try to cheesecake, but my friend loved it, and is willing to make the road trip for more in the future!  I wanted to try their lavender latte, but they were out of lavender tea, and asked if I wanted a regular tea latte with lavender syrup.  The syrup didn't appeal to me, so I opted for the matcha latte.   The matcha latte was good, but not particularly memorable. It had a creamy texture, and the matcha flavour was sublte.  This is one of the larger cafes in town, with plenty of indoor seating, and a laid back vibe. The staff were also friendly.

Because this is in the heart of the Blue Mountain village, I fully expected high prices and mediocre snacks. I was really taken by how delicious the baklava and portugese tarts were!! I'm sad that we live so far away because it was probably the best baklava I have had. Coupled with extremely fair prices for such a central tourist spot, and a beautiful view of the mountain, this might be worth another visit next time we are in town! Clean bathrooms, bright and roomy space. Friendly staff at front.

The cafe has an amazing selection of exquisite pastries and hand crafted drinks. Some of the menu items that caught our eye were the dubai chocolate croissant, the croque monsieur croissant, and a coconut cream pastry. We tried the freddo espresso bc it was the first time we saw it on a menu. It was such an interesting drink! It consists of espresso frothed only with ice and it has such a creamy texture that you'd be hard pressed to believe that it is just espresso and ice. Another noteworthy point is that ambiance - such a gorgeous interior with cream and wood themes and greenery. Absolutely loved their decor. I believe this is the second location for the owner who was just absolutely lovely. We're here for the week and will be visiting again, if not daily!
