Well if you need coffee, its as you would expect at Tims. The line up is always big and the service is very slow for a Tims.

Coffee is consistent

Holy Wiches - HW Club Sandwich

Holy Wiches

I initially came here for a Yelp event, and now it's on my list of restaurants I like to eat in the…read morearea. I know a lot of people have reservations paying top dollar for just a sandwich, but I'd say the quality of ingredients and flavourful sauces is totally worth it. I always get the holy cow sandwich with vamp sauce, but will occasionally get the chicken sandwich with lunar sauce. I did try the lemonade they had once, but to be honest, it doesn't quite fit my palate. The lemonade has some sort of seasoning in it. If you've had lemonade from East Asian restaurants, you would kind of know what to expect. They also give you a discount card that you can show for an extra 15% off when you visit. If you're in the area looking for a quick bite, I'd give this place a shot.

So hard to properly gauge our order as a 3rd party delivery service as used. So Ill do my best…read more Went with the Virtuous Veggie option on a Baguette. This was a hearty sandwich, well over a pound on arrival I'd say. Unfortunately, it was delivered rather cold but not their fault. The toppings options were very varied and appreciated but the sauce could have been more generously applied. This sandwich was crazy filling. The bread was fresh, soft, and sturdy.. and the patties were flavourful. I'm not a vegetarian but I was very satisfied with them and happy I chose this over chicken or beef options. Pricepoint is a big high for a veggie sandwich but I truly feel there is high value in their product.. Need to go in and remove the delivery from the equation for a clear review

San Francisco Place - Outside San Francisco Place takeout restaurant

Hello foodies today I bring you a mixed bag of reviews from this small italian and portuguese…read morerestaurant. I would say its primarily takeout but they have one or two tables inside. They are located in a small plaza on the north side of Qieen st behind a gas station with plenty of parking . They serve your typical fair with pizza. Pasta , hot sandwiches, and Portuguese grilled chicken ... Today I ordered three sandwiches, the veal sandwich with hot peppers, the italian sausage sandwich with grilled peppers and onions and the Porruguese Chorizo sausage sandwich plain. 3./5 rating on average for all three sandwiches even though they were not all equal in quality and taste. Let's start with the veal as I feel this was the worst of the three. For a guy who has tried practically every veal sandwich in the GTA I think I know what makes a good veal plus I am half italian. Raring 3/5 a very large sandwich great portion size with I think two layers of thin cut veal could of used another layer not typical . However very hard not tender at all most likley overly deep fried, correct preparation is a shallow fry so it dosnt get hard , i found it very hard to bite through the sandwich because how tough the meet was. The second let down was this was definitely not home made tomato sauce very very acidic canned sauce . If you never had another veal sandwich it's probably not bad but in comparison to much better in the GTA it falls really short Italian sausage 2.5/5 is my rating again great portion size big sandwich several sausages cut in half in sandwich with some really tasty grilled peppers and onions , but again this sausage was not fresh very hard overcooked and probably sat in fridge then reheated days later making it very hard and difficult to bight through not one bit of tenderness...and same issue with the canned sauce extremely acidic. Portuguese Chorizo sausage sandwich was the best one. .3.8/5 .Another generous large portion size .but on a more positive note .the sausage was better cooked not so dry and hard very very flavorful and maybe because it was not drenched in that acidic tomato sauce it was a good sandwich at least much better then the previous two The olives were just fabulous tasty spicey and perfect highly recomend thos with your meal 5/5 Service 5/5 was very friendly fast my food was ready in about 7 minutes from the time I ordered. Very average sandwiches but not the worst veal and sausage sandwiches i have had

Excellent veal ona bun. Super soft kaiser roll and plenty of meat…read more Add mushrooms, sweet, and hot peppers: Your tongue will thank you.

Firehouse Subs

4 to a 4.5 Can I…read morejust first start by saying I really underestimated a medium, I was so full, I almost threw up eating the last bite. Yes, that's TMI but that's how full I was lol. I'm also probably just a weakling and shouldn't have forced myself to eat all that. Anyways, I have only heard good things about firehouse subs forever. Surprisingly, my bf has tried it before I have and he too raves about them. I finally had a chance to try a few bites from my friends' subs as they had ordered some through skip the dishes. I was blown away. I tried a few bites of the Italian and the Steak and Cheese and it was sooooo good. Also, for a bootleg Philly cheesesteak, which I know they do not claim to be, it was pretty good!! So a week later I was super craving my own and could not stop thinking about it. Thankfully for me, there's one an 8 minute drive away. Since I had such a good experience with the Italian that's what I decided to order. A medium. Also I had no idea you could add certain extra toppings at no fee, until my gf started ordering them lol next time. Anyways, somehow my friend's sub last week tasted so much better and it was delivery! Lol. Maybe it's because I got whole wheat. I need to make note to stick to white bread next time. The sub was still super tasty, packed with meat and fresh ingredients. I love their buns. They're the perfect softness. I hate buns that are hard and hurt my gums. Ya I'm sounding hella old. I'm super impressed with these subs and it's literally just a sub but I find myself craving them all the time! I can't wait to try all the flavours!

New restaurants often receive lots of hype, but it's not too often a restaurant chain does…read more However, word of Firehouse Subs has been making quite a bit of noise since they've entered the GTA market in the last year or so. Hype is great to generate buzz, but it can also lead to unrealistic expectations. I'm happy to report that Firehouse has completely met and even surpassed my high expectations. I'd heard great things about their meatball sub, so I went with that on my first visit. I had a couple years as a teenager loving meatball subs at Subway, but have since largely moved on due the sub-par meat quality. The meatball sub here is EXACTLY what you would look for in a proper meatball sub. The meat quality is top notch, and that along with the sauce really brings out a great homemade feel. And of course with a sandwich, you can't overlook the importance of the bun and Firehouse has knocked it out of the park in that regard. It should be noted that all subs are toasted here. They also ensure it's toasted thoroughly so it will take a few minutes for your sub to be finished. Beyond that, they only have a handful of toppings to choose from, and ones that are conducive for a toasted sub - so no lettuce, tomato and others. There are still a few others however, such as bell peppers, jalapenos and more. I wanted to wait for another visit before I gave my review since a meatball sub could be a bit easier for a toasted sub place to pull off. I came in today and ordered the beef brisket sandwich. They describe it as smoked for 16 hours, though obviously it wouldn't be the same as a brisket from a BBQ joint. The brisket is deli-style meat, but their fridge is on full display and you can see that it arrives whole, which means they would slice it fresh. Beyond that, once I received my sandwich and began to eat, it's clear that it's about the highest quality deli meat available. It was apparent from the look and the taste, and even the smoked quality was evident. I brought a co-worker on this visit and she absolutely loved her steak and cheese sandwich. It's all about the quality of the ingredients here which makes the sandwiches great. They are also well-staffed here to manage many customers and they're super-friendly. I'm not sure how much I buy into the firehouse theme or even the fundraising/philanthropy aspect of the business - but when the food is this good it doesn't even matter.
