Before ordering through Skip the Dishes their extremely popular tarts which often sell out, I emailed the team and they made sure that the baker would keep the 3 flavors aside for me. When the Skip driver picked up and delivered the wrong order (scone & coffee misto) Amber called me to let me know that my order was still with them. I got the refund from Skip and replaced my order. My friend recieved the order and loved the little personal touch on the bag. Here's a quick review of each item as described by my friend: - Americano Misto with Oat Milk & Vanilla: deliciously creamy - Aged cheddar scone: warm this up in the oven and it'll be crispy on the outside with oozy cheese on the inside! - Carrot cake: smothered in cream cheese icing and chopped walnuts with pineapple chunks inside makes for a hearty home made cake like one's grandma would make. - Lemon tart: rich lemon filling within a very yummy buttery and crunchy butter biscuit crust balanced by the sweetness of the meringue. - White chocolate tart: firm filling that melts in your mouth with raspberry jam. - Green tea tart: has white chocolate drops (hearts) and is addictive--you'll want to add one more in your order. :) If you're looking for a treat, head on over to Bread Milk and Honey, order anything on the dessert menu and down it with a lovely coffee, tea or other drinks!

It's right next to Superstore in the stripcentre so very convenient after grocery shopping and we stop there often for a cinnamon bun as well. My biweekly order contains 2 loaves of Cape Seed or the Country Loaf depending on my mood. I might occasionally add a white but it's rare. I like to add their cinnamon bread and for those on low potassium diets it has no raisins! The one downfall with cobbs is that it is a bit more expensive than your average grocery loaf but I can't resist. I also hate the twist ties they use but I'm gong to try and get some plastic bread closures which work so much better. Their hamburger and hotdog buns are ok but I've had better so that's where to get the ties.
