The views of surrounding farm, country gardens and park area are especially welcome after isolation. Their roasted red pepper soup is still the star dish they became known for and the homemade bread used for sandwiches is good. The welcome variety of homemade pies are very good including the pecan pie I I and my friend had. The attached produce store has expanded to include their homemade bread, pickles and roasted chipotles. I enjoyed an excellent house made savory chai (they offer multiple alternatives to dairy milk) and picked up a few of the three vegan pastries they had that day for myself and family. I'm sure that the berry turnovers, cinnamon twists, and rosemary pretzels would have been ever better had I warmed them up before serving.

I received a coupon in the mail for a grilled cheese sandwich BOGO promotion at Tim Hortons. My wife and I have lunch together so I thought I'd grab that for lunch. The cashier rang through my order and for whatever reason didn't scan the coupon properly. Instead of redoing the transaction she suggested that I just use the coupon another time. I told her that I was wanting two sandwiches and asked if she could redo the transaction. She responded saying that if she did the transaction again it would charge me again and that the previous transaction was already done and could not be changed. I bought the 2nd sandwich full price in order to be courteous to the other customers waiting. I really wish that those employees could be trained better. Very disappointed with their service.
