I reached out to NLF to feel good in my own skin before my wedding and have kept with it because I consistently see both physical and mental benefits from a regular training routine. I have tried a variety of different workout routines but would either get bored or feel like exercise was a chore. Each session with David is different and challenging but with his encouragement, technical knowledge, and warm personality I know that I can keep going (even when I don't want to hop on the tread mill). He goes above and beyond for his clients, including bringing over equipment and writing home workouts during the COVID lockdown so that I could maintain my routine. Although I've seen great physical results, I think what has benefited the most from working with David has been my relationship with food and fitness. After years of obsessing over weight, I have had a mental shift and take pride in being strong and building muscle. I feel confident that I am taking care of myself in the best way possible. Jack and the other trainers at NLF have created a space where people of all ages and fitness levels feel capable and welcome. They don't just care about their own clients, the entire training staff wants to see you grow and accomplish your goals both in and out of the gym. I have worked with a few of the other trainers at the gym as well, and have consistently had top notch training where I would work with any of them again. I highly recommend working with her because of the following: 1) Attention to detail (In 2 sessions she knew exactly what my physical limits were and built workouts to help me learn better form and build my body in a healthy and manageable way) 2) Undivided attention (I never had her look at her phone or talk to someone else during our sessions, she's always 100% attentive to you, and that's something I really appreciate) 3) Nutrition mentoring (I don't eat unhealthy things, but Dallas made me realize foods that were better alternatives and which ones I should stay away from in order to achieve a better workout and achieve the physique I wanted. She'll never shame you for indulging in sweets or carbs either, which I'm definitely grateful for) 4) Knows when you push you and when to rest (I used to always get sick after high intensity workout classes and could never get through group sessions, but Dallas made workouts that challenged me without overextending my body. I always leave Next Level Fitness knowing my body was pushed to its limits in a healthy way) 5) Fun workouts that are engaging and different! (Honestly I would be the last person to say this, but dare I say that workouts now are actually fun?! Whether we're doing floor exercises, stuff on a machine or weights, I never know what's coming next. Since the first day, the owner Jack has always remembered my name and greets you when you come and when you leave. No matter who's in the gym you always feel so welcomed, which I can't say for anywhere else I've been! For COVID procedures, I felt that they took good precautions to make sure the safety of everyone is prioritized. Next Level Fitness makes sure to have a certain number of people in the gym at all times and the trainer wipes down everything as soon as you've used it. If you prefer the trainer to wear a mask they can. Just some extra brownie points: The gym playlist is ALWAYS poppin' and the bathrooms are SERIOUSLY amazing. The luxurious feel when you step into this gym is unlike any other, which is so weird to say because it's a GYM! You definitely get your money's worth and coming here is absolutely an enjoyable and fun experience, so don't hesitate and try this place out!

I'm not a boot camp kind of girl, so anyone yelling at me isn't going to see me ever again. Holly's encouraging voice, coupled with her no-nonsense, take no prisoners approach is perfect. I never got away with a bad body position, especially if it made it easier to perform an action. She KNOWS. I suffer from low back pain and was not a runner when I began training with her. I now run/walk 3.1 miles every week, with the goal of running that full 5K by the end of summer. And my back issues have improved over the course of our workouts. and because I'm stronger and know how to safely execute movements, I'm able to tackle weight training. If you're looking to gain strength in a supportive environment, become a runner, or improve your athletic ability, I can't recommend Holly enough.

The front desk staff was super helpful and welcoming--they made sure we had everything we needed and even gave us a quick tour. The gym's setup is fantastic! Cardio is upstairs, while everything from weights to outdoor rec and boxing setups is downstairs. I especially loved the outdoor workout space--it's such a nice touch. The gym was super clean, well-organized, and had a respectable, positive environment. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area!

This gym literally has everything you need to get a diagnosis of swoliosis from your Dr. From the owner to the front desk workers this gym is a vibe.. Each and every trainer there is in shape and a subject matter expert, and the fact they have an outdoor area with turf is a sickkk bonus feature to add to the vibe.. not to mention they literally have the worlds strongest man who works out there too.. The place is clean.. it's unique.. it's all that and a bag of chips.. as soon as I walked in I didn't even need a tour I looked around and in 0.3 seconds I found home again Gym 5 is literally the best gym in Nashville. They now have free weight squat racks and bench. The bathrooms are clean. It's never too busy, well at least when I go which is like 5-7 am. All in all great experience.

    I am a recent member of PF, and am new to the Nashville scene - so after some time at my apartment…read moregym, I wanted to get access to equipments I wouldn't have otherwise at my apartment. Here are my thoughts on the experience: 1. Cleanliness - unfortunately, this is horrible. The equipment often feels dirty, and I sometimes get black markings on my hands from touching the weights, which is quite disgusting. The men's bathroom is even worse - it's dirty, musty, and lacks proper air flow, making the experience of simply washing my hands unpleasant. I didn't even bother to look into the lockers or showers because I bet I'd be frightened with how this may be "upkept." 2. Staff interaction - for me, this has been on a minimal, as I usually just want to get in and out for my workout. From what I've seen, they seem friendly enough, but I haven't had much need to engage with them. 3. Equipment Availability - this is generally okay. Though it can get busy during peak hours. Timing your workouts outside these peak times is crucial if you want to make sure you have access to the equipment you need and wouldn't want to wait / or if you're simply in a rush. 4. Overall Experience - while the price is great, the overall experience leaves me feeling otherwise. You feel like the equipment and facilities is neglected, and it impacts the quality of your workout environment in a way. So, if cleanliness is important to you - you might reconsider your options. But if you're looking for price/budget, this is great seriously! Just be intentional and wipe down anything you use BEFORE and AFTER, don't want to risk catching anything because you're not staying clean.
