A couple of years ago I suffered a back injury from an industrial accident. I took myself to the…read moreER, and what ensued was more than a year of specialists and doctors and hospital visits. My pain branched out to my entire right leg, parts of my left leg, my whole back, my neck, head and arms. In detail I saw a series of 3 orthopedic doctors, 2 neurologists, 2 neurosurgeons, 2 pain management doctors, and had 3 ER visits; all for my back pain. My entire back was imaged via X-ray and MRI. I was scanned from cranium to pelvis. Nothing was reported that even began to explain my problems. Nada. Zip... And so my diagnosis was ever changing between doctors. I was told I had anyhing that seemed to stick: Fibromyalgia, Pain Amplification Syndrome, Myofascial Pain and Disorder, Stretched Nerves, Degenerative Disc Disease, Depression Induced Pain, etc etc etc. With "diagnosis" in hand, I went through an accumulated total of 3 months of physical therapy, prescribed rest, acupuncture, dry needling, regimented stretching, chiropractic treatments, trigger point injections and massage, active release therapy, massage, TENS units, and a litany of medication. Every doctor I saw eventually gave up, stopped returning my calls, or offered me a handful of pills to shut me up. I am young, and I thought I would have to start collecting disability and live on pain meds. My back hurt all over, there was hardly anything I could do anymore. Sitting was painful, driving was unbearable, standing was far worse, and a good night's sleep was a fleeting memory. My leg hurt just like sciatica, starting first in the foot and working its way up. It would go into painful spasms and twitch, sending waves of pain all over my body. I developed neck pain and headaches, pain that radiated down my arms and numbed my fingers, and my heart began to have issues from all of the stress and lack of sleep. My hair was turning grey or falling out. My personal relationships suffered immensely. I couldn't live like that anymore, and seeing as how my other doctors were not helping me, I decided to try Prolotherapy. I was in luck because Dr. Parikh's office was relatively close to me. I visited Dr. Parikh's office in April of 2016 for my first session of Prolotherapy. I had done my research on Prolotherapy, and was already at ease with my decision because of the excellent communication I had with the doctor via Email prior to committing. Before treatment he did a very thorough exam, far more thorough than my initial evaluations with all the other doctors. Also, knowing that the doctor underwent this treatment himself and benefited from it was very reassuring. I am sure none of my other doctors would ever touch the pills or take the kind of injections they prescribed me! It wasn't until after the 4th session that I noticed a change in my pain. When I was once unable to walk around a store to buy groceries, I was buying food for myself, I was out on my land, pulling up 6ft+ plants and working on my truck again, up and down on my knees for short periods. I still didn't have the stamina I needed to keep this up, but this was obvious evidence of an improvement. It was after my 9th treatment that I started to see great strides in my recovery, every week I was improving little by little. By the 11th treatment I was finally able to move on from just prolotherapy to strength training and massage therapy, and I continue to improve through those two modalities. I still have a long road ahead, but thanks to Dr. Parikh and his treatments I feel confident that I will only have a short time left of dealing with my current level of pain - no longer does it feel like it will "last forever". Also, if my pain ever gets bad again, I am going straight back to Dr. Parikh. No other doctor I have been to has ever shown as much consideration for their patients well being as he has. If you hurt and are getting no answers, consider seeing Dr. Parikh.

I called to make an appointment and was seen within a week or so. As you entered the office, you sanitize your hands and then make your way to the desk. Every one was wearing a mask and then temperatures were taken. If you have been to any medical office lately it's the standard treatment! The check in didn't take long and we were taken back to a room in about 15 minutes or so. We were pleasantly greeted by the staff and had a short interview with his nurse. Dr. Hannallah came in the room shortly after that. He had reviewed previous X-rays and spent a very reasonable amount of time with us. He was very straight forward with his thoughts and diagnosis. I have arthritis and it's continuing to get worse. He recommended strongly that I should never have surgery on my back! He also said that he wouldn't operate on my back!. My pain is degenerative and there is some disc degeneration, in the lumbar region. He asked to have an MRI done and then to return for results. I appreciated Dr. Hannallah and his honesty. I have known doctors that kind of lead you on and won't be straight forward with you. I am thankful that I was assigned to him and appreciated the answers I was given. Next up- MRI!

Hopefully the edge can be taken off so that your quality of life improves. That is what the Doctor has done for me. He prescribes me medicine and performs joint shots. What always astounds me is his capacity to listen to me. He is like Sherlock Holmes but instead of solving murders he solves medical mysteries. He listened to me complain about pain from shoulder up my neck to the back of my ear and he said it sounded like a whiplash injury. That's exactly what it was! Well, my quality of life has improved thanks to Dr. Manocha and his warm and always friendly staff.

Hit by a truck while walking across the crosswalk at Meijer on Hamilton Rd back in March of 2025. Was referred to Dr Manocha at his office in Newark shortly thereafter. Took weeks to get in due to poor communication on his staff's part. I was specifically told that I needed to get the imaging done, and then after Dr. Manocha looked at it he would call me to let me know what was going on and to schedule an appointment (this is relevant later). Was sent to get imaging done about 40 minutes away, but couldn't schedule it for over a month because Dr Manocha wouldn't send the correct paperwork and the office I was getting imaging done from had to get directly involved. I went for my imaging And then waited about a week for the doctor to call me, this never happened. I spent the next couple months calling Dr. Manocha and leaving voicemails without ever getting a response until I eventually just gave up. Fast-forward to three weeks ago, I received a text message telling me that I owed his office $75. I called again to dispute this because I was not going to pay $75 for a Doctor who refused to actually be a doctor. I never received a response. Fast forward again to this week where I receive a letter in the mail telling me I still owed $75. I reached out to Dr. Manocha's office again. Except this time, I told them I would be going to the state medical board with a complaint due to all of the poor behavior the doctor displayed. Apparently, the threat of going to the state medical board and filing a complaint was enough to finally get a phone call back in which the young lady at his office could not have been less interested in being helpful or nice. I asked to have the doctor give me a call to go over everything that had happened, the young lady promised that he would but it might not be until Friday the very next day (today) I received a call from the same young lady, but not the doctor. She informed me that this was my fault for not scheduling an appointment after I've had my imaging done. I informed her I was specifically told that the doctor would reach out to me, which he never did as well as the fact that I called over 30 times and left voicemails that were never returned. Her response was "you still should've scheduled an appointment," but failed to explain how I could've possibly scheduled an appointment with this office if nobody ever got back to me every person I have interacted with at this office has been rude and just north of shady. The doctor should not have a license, and the people in his office should not be employed if this is what they consider to be quality care for people in pain

I thought I was meeting with a chiropractor I had seen the previous year. The nurse said he left the practice. I would meet with the Physical Medicine Physician on staff. I waited a half hour. I explained my symptoms to the Doctor - pain in my neck, and shoulder that went down my arm. He said I needed XRays and prescribed prednisone. He wanted me to come back to see him a week later. The nurse said she would call in the prescription to my pharmacy in Westerville and confirmed the details. My pharmacy never received it. This office is closed on Friday so I called Monday. No one answered. I left 2 messages about the prescription. Never received a call back. I called again on Tuesday - got the answering machine again. Left another message about the prescription not being called into CVS. (5 days later). I never heard back from them. Later in the day I called and canceled my f/u appointment via voicemail. What was the point of going back? Not sure what is going on there, but not responding to calls from a patient about never receiving a prescription is dangerous. It seems like they don't really care.

Listed all my surgeries and showed Dr. Essandoh scars from surgeries and explained at 23 l was hit on my left side by a lumbertruck while on my motorcycle. I was told I'd never walk again or use my left arm. I also folded my left arch and severly damaged my ankle, left wrist and woke up weeks later in recovery ward with a fist sized ball of gause under my right kneecap. Second visit after Psychological evaluation according to Ohio law he walked in and told me they never received my medical records from my doctors or orthopedic surgeons. Called them when l got home and was informed they were never requested by the clinic. This was after approximately over a month. Then Dr. Essandoh told me Valium showed up in my urine sample which astonished me as I've never taken a valium unless it was administered by IV before different surgeries. This set me off as there was no way it could have come up. Then it was determined it was from a prescribed pain med l ate after a 12 hour straight drive that left me in intense pain, but it was not valium. Then the BIG lie. He told me the psychologist told him l was buying drugs off the street. Now I'm livid after two lies. I demanded to know if the conversation was recorded. He left for a long time and informed me the it was from a leftover prescription after l spent six weeks in a physical rehabilitation clinic after a third knee replacement soon after a second temporary replacement due to first one being infected. I had my sister take pictures of the prescriptions, including one for help with severe insomnia. Instead of looking at them he didn't even look at the pictures insisting l forewarded them to his Email which l figured out how to do after one of the nurses couldn't figure it out. I will say the two nurses were trying to be understanding and knew l was very disturbed by the insinuations and proven outright lies by Dr. Essandoh. He kept trying to push injections which I've previously tried with no results. Then he made me write a letter stating l would dispose of my prescribed prescriptions including one from my primary care doctor to do with severe insomnia. I told them l previously ended up in the Emergency Room in Stone County, Arkansas due to not sleeping three nights and terrified l would be in grave danger having to drive close to 700 miles home starting out on 100 miles of narrow curvy mountain roads, they didn't seem to care and suggested l talked about it with my primary care doctor on my appointment on Monday, this was on my appointment at Oracle Pain Clinic Friday. I told them my doctor has tried numerous prescriptions and the one l currently was using on an as needed basis was the only one that showed any positive results. He didn't care and seemed to disreguard any of my previous prescriptions by doctors who actually had enough concern to attain my medical records from my doctors, specialists, and surgeons to familiarize themselves with my present condition at 71 years old. I was told he called in a prescription for arthritis but was informed by the pharmacy it was already expired the same day it was called in. Guess he's not even competent to call in a prescription or take any interest in actually addressing my concerns other than forcing me to disprove his fabricated accusations which were proven to be false. I hope l can actually find a competent doctor who will attain my medical records as to helping me deal with severe pain issues instead of fueling my well deserved distrust of Dr. Essandoh and his demeanor tword someone reaching out with accute pain issues.
