Weeks go by so I call in to check rather than driving 45 minutes to find out they don't have it. The guy on the phone said they don't have it because someone sold it!! I tell him this has already happened and he sees when I originally preordered. He promises to order the game and make sure he calls. The store calls within a week this time. I go into the store to pick up and I guess third times a charm. They struggle to find it but at least it was there. I know to only order games online now. Not sure what happened to this store that I used to live so much. Sad.

I'm retired in over 4 Decades…read moreoh hospitality restaurants, and hotels and I believe that when the owner responds to a comment, they care about the product they produce. A manager isn't there 100% of the time, likely working to make it a better one. In hotels we hire, " Secret Shoppers", nobody in the hotel knows whom they are, so all employees must be performing at their best, because management wants to know where improvements can happen and they want to see how their employees deal with their customers. What I experienced should never had occurred. The Cashier took the order, we even talked about Cheese options, the cook seeing the order should have known cheese was part of the order itself. Fries likely were not fresh, but put onto the plate that had been ordered a bit earlier and a heat lamp did its best to keep the fries hot. The Cashier bringing the vegetable burger was told the cheese was missing from the order, so he took a slice of cheese from the cold refrigerator and added it to the burger. I like my cheese melted onto the sandwich. The fries just kept on losing temperature. What I thought was an opportunity to make it all right was blown by an associate that was told by the cashier that I wanted Beef Stew as a remedy. The Cashier had asked me what would I like instead and came back saying that her co-worker said exchanging my vegetable burger for beef stew with rice was absolutely impossible. Asking me what I would then like, I answered I wanted her to throw the order away.... And she did, I finally got what I wanted. I'm disappointed that the order was not prepared properly, that the cook was indifferent to his mistake and took a cold piece of cheese from the fridge to put on top of the burger- There was an opportunity for the Cashier to become the hero, she tried but lacked the perceived authority to needed to make a customer satisfied. No refund needed- i know what empowerment looks like- the cashier was on the right track, over ruled by a manager or supervisor that needs to be re-trained on customer service. If the owner does discuss this with her management team, especially supervisors that what our hotel motto was,"Do Whatever it takes ", then there will be great improvements and guest's satisfaction. Increasing to 3 stars because the owner reached out to me personally. I am returning in December, will update. I know the Cashier who took my order and I saw the person she asked if she could give me Beef Stew. I will be the Secret shopper in December- January 2027.

They had been to the Fun Factory before and requested that we go there. The place was much smaller and a bit old-school compared to what we'd find at Dave & Buster's but the kids still had a blast. There is no kitchen, so there is no food or drinks, but plenty of prizes to trade in for tickets won. Reload cards work on a tier system - I forget the details but the more often you go, the more you'll be rewarded (discounted games etc). I would definitely take the kids there again.

I had taken my 4 kids to play outdoor laser tag in Kona around Labor Day . At the time they were portable and came to where we were staying. At the time we had a total of 6 players. Without batting an eye, Kim called around and invited her own family members to play so that I could give my kids the game they love! It was so important to my family and I can't thank the Overcash's enough! The operational venue is outstanding! The lush forested area high in the clouds makes for a real-life experience and makes the game that much more challenging for the players! If you visit the Big Island and you're looking for an activity that doesn't involve water this is it! The price is $$ and worth it!
