Cure place good service and good. Avocado toast and chai tea for me! Pancakes and coffee for the hubs. Delicious

Breakfast was good as well as the Bloody Mary. I think pricing was steep for an omelet?!!!

    Avocado, toast, and chai tea

I normally don't care for organic health for you restaurants but this one was definitely worth a stop. I had the cornbread pancake with blueberries on top and my wife had the avocado toast. Both were delicious. Totally recommend this place.

Nice lil spot in town. Friendly service, clean and good selection. I was out with my baby and needed a coffee! We sat for a little bit, (high chairs are available) in a booth which was great so he could move around and I could block him in. Ordered a seasonal fruit bowl and a large dirty chai with whipped cream. I only got one shot of espresso but should've got two! Wasn't strong enough for me. Whipped cream tasted like the good stuff- made in house. The chai was lovely. The fruit was delicious and made my baby happy. Cafe wasn't too busy and the staff was very friendly, offering to grab a high chair if I wanted it. There was no loud music playing which was nice but it wasn't awkwardly quiet, could hear people talking and even my child's baby talk didn't seem out of place. I also noticed they had children's books which is a nice touch!

I came here based on the YELP reviews and that my cat is named Tilly. Well this place is named after a dog, but the other YELP reviews are right. Cute coffee place with good sandwiches and they make a fine cup of cappuccino. The breakfast sandwich is a winner thanks to the fresh baked biscuit. Nice sunny interior, friendly service. They have some beautiful vases for sale.

Avocado toast on GF bread, seasonal salad. Delish!

This was a wonderful stop, while traveling. Lovely, peaceful, yet upbeat atmosphere. Food was excellent. Avocado toast on GF bread is to die for! Seasonal Salad fresh and delicious. My husband - typically a chicken nuggets guy - enjoyed his ham & cheese on seeded bread. His remarks "delicious!" Cappuccino and a strawberry lemonade were both winners. Clean and fresh cafe. Very well done. Kudos - and Thank You! An excellent experience.

Ordered Breakfast Biscuit and surprisingly filling. To drink had the Arnold Palmer. Would definitely recommend this place if in the area for breakfast/brunch.

Excellent! Fabulous bread. Had the avocado toast and a cup of chicken lentil soup. If the cup had been bottomless I would still be there.

Great coffee, high quality food, light-filled space and comfortable booths. A required stop in Rhinelander.

As with many cases this season they were very short staffed and trying to offer good service to those that had made reservations. Our server had several tables including one of 16 people. I can't believe how good the service ended up being with Karen our waitress. As a seasoned vet in this Industry she was on top of everything. Additionally the food was Breyer than I had hoped for. We all started with the salad bar which was clean and organized. They did end up running out of ranch dressing which was a disappointment but that was the only thing that fell short the entire evening. After the salads the four of us has the French onion soup which was better than most I've had. This was followed by our main course. Two of us has the 10 oz. Fillets, on had the 16oz ribeye and lastly one liver and onions. All the steaks were fabulous and the liver was also good from what I hear. There was no rushing, Karen our server timed out servings perfectly and the evening turned out spectacular. A big kudos to the Manager for getting us in. This will be a part of our rotation moving forward. Don't forget to make reservations!

I recently moved back to Rhinelander and had to check it out again. The place looks the same which I love. Our waitress was nice and attentive. We waited for over an hour for our food and there were only about 10 customers. I had the salmon with risotto. The end of it was fishy tasting and the risotto was mushy. The other two at my table ordered their alfredo. They liked theirs, but when I looked at it, I wouldn't have liked the spiral noodle they used. I felt they were overpriced too.

Our friends at Yelp still won't give us half stars…read more After visiting Northwoods Inn, I tell people, "I had a great meal at a gas station recently.". No kidding, don't let the gas station vibes throw you, this place has great eats. We walked in through the gas station part of the building and were surprised to see the rustic decor of a medium sized dining area and an adjacent bar. It was a pretty full dining room and we sat ourselves. It didn't look promising as we saw one waitress and one bartender. However, after a brief wait, the waitress came to our table and assured us she would return as quickly as possible to get our drink and food orders. She returned as promised. Our drinks arrived a short time later. They were well made and attention was paid to get us another round as we finished the first. Our table had ribs, prime rib and a French dip sandwich. The portion size was great and the food arrived hot. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender and the sauce was tasty. The prime rib had great flavor, was prepared as ordered and had very little fat. The French dip was also tasty. Truth be told, a salad bar would make this a true five star rating. The salads served with the meal were nice but very run-of-the-mill. Will we go back in the future? You betcha!
