Tarren is a bad employee due to unprofessional personality and lack of customer service in retail. I've been in PR 38 years and rarely come across this type of employee. Greeted at entry I asked to exchange shows in which she directed me to the shoe section instead of the register. She was very fast at leading me to pick something out and rushing my choice. At check out Tarren rapidly experienced difficulty on the exchange of shoes and when I asked to ring my clothes separately she rang everything together. Then, yes, there is more, I asked how much the shoes were because my total was very high, she asked, "you weren't watching the screen"? Ha! I almost lost it at this point. Then the card reader wouldn't work as I tried both ways in the reader only for her to tell me it goes the other way, I handed her the card and she attempted to do it herself and it still didn't work! She basically threw my receipt and tells me to have a nice day ignorantly! Never shopping here again, overpriced items and poor quality. I have been to this Tilly's a number of times, I am always greeted with a hello/welcome. The store is always clean and staff is always friendly. A couple of employees that stand out are Freddy & Evie. Both have been very helpful on different occasions. The parking is never an issue and seemingly safe. read more

So thankful. I purchased a pair of vans on Monday 1/23 at 1:00ish. I have severe pain in my hands and fingers due to a medical condition Ehlers Danlos Syd. The lady at the counter who checked me out laced my shoes for me. She didn't make me feel guilty or embarrassed. She allowed me the independence to wear my shoes that same day. I would've had to wait on a family members help and their guilt trip if she didnt help me. I am so thankful!!! She weotw her name on my receipt but I misplaced it, she had dark hair and olive skin. If I could give a 0 I would. Beyond disappointed with the customer service I received. Check the time for them to close and needed a quick item before my trip tomorrow. Literally some socks. I couldn't event get it out to what I wanted when I walked into the store at 6:56pm. Marina yells from the register they are closed. (Not rudely) but telling me they are closed. I don't come here that often anymore. I came with my cousins today and it's pretty much the same as always. They always have the same type of clothes and accessories. Today was especially packed since it was the day after Christmas, so the line was super huge. No one greeted me, no one in sight... So I started wandering and when I was done shopping, no one was near the register. I was looking around for the nearest staff member to check my order out. A girl in jeans was helping out customers already, so the next staff in sight, in flower carnigan seemed like she was too interested, gossiping in her microphone. She was circling the rack of sweaters, so I asked if she can help me to the register. Ny experience would have been better if you train your staff members to smile to your customers.... she seemed kinda snobby too. Done with this place. Overpriced and not worth the visit. read more

This is one of my daughter's favorite to go to stores when she needs something cute at a great price. She was attending a girls night so we ended up here. This store is in a great location. The Corona Crossing Center. Huge parking lot and I think just about every employee greeted us with a smile & offered assistance. They have a huge selection of the current styles... casual and dressy for both genders, even young teens. I was quite surprised to see a lot of similar styles that I see at the higher end stores here at a lower price. Almost makes me wish my kid's were young again to shop for them...... NOT!!! Took my son 4 back 2 school shopping and everyone was great in the floor. My son found lots of things (of course) only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the girl who rang us up was kind of rude and didn't interact at all as she rung up my $600 bill! Just left this location and was sorely disappointed in the customer service. We walked in and was not acknowledged and after being in the kids section, someone decided it was time to "clean" the section but still didn't so much as speak. This is the closest to my house but I would prefer to go to another location or order online before ever coming here again. I guess the employees haven't received the memo that more people are going online and spending less time in the brick and mortar locations. They're closing fast. read more

I will never come back to this Tillys. My hopes is this stores district manager will see this review as I know they have or used to have strong district managers that cared. This store needs to re-evaluate what is a priority and what is not. I waited in line twice today, once when I arrived to return and once to purchase, and both times were over 15 min wait lines. I can be reasonable and understand long wait times during the holidays but not when you only have 2 cashiers taking there time and 4 others wondering the store. My first time in line one of the cashiers stopped the line that had 11 people waiting (I counted), took a phone order to place shoes on hold, left the register to go get the shoes, came back, and proceeded to fill out the a hold slip while we all waited for her. Absolutely unacceptable. I'm not being unreasonable either because all of us in line we're talking amongst each other about how frustrating this was!!! When you have a mob of people in line upset about the same thing, get it together and get all hands on deck. I'd also like to point out for any response that they focus on customer service on the floor and the register that i don't care for you to ask how my holiday was or my new year will be. It's too late. I'm already pissed. That train has left the building. If you really want to show customer service get people in and out of the lines and get them on there way to where there going! Bought a pair of sunglasses a little while ago (ray bans). Once I got home, I was gifted with the same pair for my birthday. The following day, I came in with the receipt to return them. The second I came into the store, I was asked if I was making a return from some lady with a negative attitude. I said yes and I explained what had happened. With her negative attitude increasing, I was told that returns or exchanges are not allowed with sunglasses. Well for one, I wasn't told that. Secondly, if I paid over $150 for these, I should be able to return them. Greedy company. I was able to get my money back, thank goodness. I had a girl struggle for 10 minuets to find me a shirt, just one and then walks away, I told her I needed another and she did get it for me however took forever to get a dressing room started for me. I used to love this location, but lately the customer service is just awful, and while it is still better than other locations, there is no excuse for the rude behavior that the girls here constant have! Honestly makes you want to find what you need and hurry up and get out. I get it, it's young kids that generally work at these type of places, but us mom's that shop for our kids deserve a bit more respect than the snotty answers these girls are quick to snap back...management really needs to who they hire and who is representing the establishment. read more

I've been shopping at Tilly's for a long time. But not anymore. They have terrible customer service. The zipper on my backpack broke several weeks after I started using it, and now it is useless. They responded to my exchange request by saying that they do not offer any returns or exchanges unless the product is unused. They don't care at all about defective products. You can buy the same brands/clothes from other stores/websites and have better customer service. Why would you want to give your money to a company that doesn't care about it's customers? Business is about buying and selling. We are not doing them a favor. They are doing one for us. read more

A bunch of teens were working here on a weekday when it was slow and there were 2 other people in the store and the cashiers were huddled up by the cash register having casual conversations. I walk around the store looking for another employee to help me with something, then when I didn't see any other employees and walked right up to them and asking for help and they kind of just stared at me like 3 deers in headlights. Then finally one girl snapped out of it and helped me out without a smile or a "Yeah sure I can help you with that", they kind of just acted like "how dare you interrupt my extremely interesting convo and make me actually do my job". One girl even looked me up and down which I ignored because as an obese teenager she probably had body image issues and was just using my healthy body weight as a goal for herself in the future, who knows. Teens will be teens a lot of them are moody and don't want to work so I didn't take any of that personally, the real issue is the hiring manager making the decision to hire them and thinking it'll be profitable for the store. Why would I come to this Tillys again after getting customer service that was this bad? What's stopping me from going to the Tillys at Tyler mall which is 15-20 mins away? Based off of this Tilly's location many other reviewers agree. Again, the employees aren't to blame it's managements responsibility to hold them accountable and offer more training if need be. read more

I have to say that I received the best customer service I've ever received at a Tillys today from a sales associate named Ghassan. I went in shopping for my son (who is incredibly picky) and Ghassan was so helpful. He continually was trying to find merchandise he thought my son might like, checked on me several times and even though I couldn't see his face (mask on) I could tell he was smiling and genuine in his assistance! Came to this location because my husband needed a pair of shorts for work tomorrow and I wanted to get a couple of things... we wound up with a pair of shorts for him and for me, two pairs of sandals and a bathing suit... well you know how the bathing suits have the plastic on the bottoms?? Well the one from my wasn't on the inside it was on the outside (it came outside from walking around and being handled)... well we get up to the front and breanna our cashier says ewww so gross as she's scanning the bathing suit... yes I can understand it's gross but don't say it out loud for one to a customer... Then we get home and my husband tries on his shorts and the button is just hanging there then it falls off.. so I drive all the way back and I get breanna again :/... Went in store looking for adidas dress that I saw online. Was greeted when I entered store but that's it. None of the reps asked if they could help me I even made eye contact with a young lady but she turned and walked away offered to help someone else but not me. I found the dress I went in the store for but needed to try it on. The young man folding clothes at the back of the store was very pleasant and offer to open the dressing room for me. After walking out of the dressing room there wasn't anyone in the back so I hung the dress back on the rack walked to the front of the store made eye contact with a different lady who didn't say anything to me so I walked out. This is the second time that I attempt to return something I purchased from Tillys with no success. I bought my son some jeans online and they didn't fit right, so I went to this store and Ryan told us that the jeans were final sale and they didn't even sell these jeans at this store. When I called customer service they told me that these jeans were not purchased on clearance, therefore not final sale and they didn't know why the store would not exchange them. I walked into this store about 12 minutes before they closed. No one bothered to welcome me in or tell me they were closing, they just dimmed the lights and when I asked about trying clothes on said the fitting room was closed. So I had a bunch of items I took to the register because obviously I can't try them on. As I gave them to the sales person Reba, he turns around looks at his coworker and sighs. Ok I let it go, I get it you're about to close. I worked retail so I know at the end of the night we want to go home. I told him I didn't want two other items and he gave me the dirtiest look ever, then rang me up, handed me my bag and ignored me. No "thank you, or have a nice day". So I let his coworker next to him know because I heard her giving orders, so I'd assume she's the manager. She literally just looked in aww and said sorry. As a manager in retail you better make sure to offer more than a fake "sorry" and let me walk away. Terrible service, I won't return. read more

5 stars for service that went above and beyond! I phoned Tillys in Corona prior to going into the location to check if they carried a pair of shoes in a particular size. A young man named Ryan answered the phone with such a pleasant disposition and though he knew the largest shoe size carried in the store, he gladly went to double check for me. I should mention too that I called during a busy time of the day so I wasn't the only one he was tending to and while I was briefly on hold, I accidentally disconnected the call. Before I was able to call back, my phone rang. It was Ryan calling back to finish giving me the information I requested! He was so helpful with such a great attitude! At any Tillys I walk into, I'm always welcomed sincerely by friendly associates. This Tillys is the one closest to my house, which is the only reason I came here because customer services does NOT exist here!!! My daughter wanted a new shirt for picture day so we came in at night like an hour and a half before closing time. We walked in and no one said anything.(very typical) We walked around and were only there for about 30 minutes maybe less. During that time I saw 4 different employees walk right past me and past my daughter. My daughter had a pile of clothes over her arm and wasn't offered a dressing room or help. Finally when we were ready to leave they had 2 registers open and were helping customers while we waited and were the next to be helped; at this point we had waited for 11 minutes (checked on my watch). Finally when it was our turn the guy turned away from the register and started talking on his ear piece to another employee never said hold on or give me a moment he simply said nothing 3 minutes later he's says, HI !!!!! As if I wasn't paying attention like he's ready and I'm not! Gosh ‍ this store is a bunch of kids working very annoying and no customer service at all. My most hated Tillys thus far! read more

First off me and my wife have been Tillys customers since we were teenagers. Today's visit at this particular Tillys was horrible. From the moment we walked in we were followed around the store. Even though I felt really uncomfortable I was determined to grab my son some pool attire for a party we were attending the following day. I walked over to my wife to show her what I had found for our son and the ginger girl who had been following us and another employee approached us and asked for our names we asked why and she said so she can take the clothes I picked for my son to the front mind you I was in the middle of showing the pieces to my wife. It made me feel real uncomfortable like if we were going to steal the items. The approach was horrible and rude. I'm not one to usually pull a race card due to the fact I've never experienced racism before especially in a Tillys store. I believe the employees need to be trained in customer satisfaction, professionalism and communication. I will never shop this Tillys location ever again!!! read more

I went into the Tilly's in Corona on Saturday February 25th 2018 the manager there was very unprofessional and gave me really bad customer service went in last weekend and spoke with one of the sales reps and I was told I could return two pair of pants that I bought during Christmas as long as I have my receipt. The manager give me the discounted price instead of full, very disappointed with the service I received there. read more
