We had a great experience with Cabinet Cures of the Triangle! Greg came to our house to give us an…read moreestimate, which he provided on the spot. I had some questions... needed to tweak it... he was always responsive via text and email. I then visited the showroom to choose a door style and molding. Once we decided to pull the trigger, things moved quickly. His team came to measure and we scheduled the installation. They were here for 5 days, as expected, and not only showed up on time, but cleaned everything up before they left each day. We actually had dinner at home most nights during the install! Wes and Drake were here every day, helped on occasion by Doug and Jam. The final result exceeded our expectations and took just 4 weeks from contract to completion! A week after they finished, I noticed that one of the cabinet doors was not closing properly. I contacted them late morning and by mid-afternoon, they were here to replace the hinge! Excellent customer service!

The…read morework looked good initially, but within 2-3 years, peeling began along the top edges of doors, drawer fronts, and some seams. I've attached clear photos showing the damage. I reached out for warranty service in 2025 providing details and photos. They came out and took pictures. The company responded by email, the peeling was due to water damage and therefore not covered. The first photo shows the peeling near the sink hich may have gotten wet a few times, but it would have to be soaked every day to cause this much peeling. The second photo is of a drawer on the island far from sinks/ stove splashes, as well as some of the other affected areas on the cabinets and drawers. The rest of the kitchen shows no moisture problems. This feels like poor material quality or adhesive failure, not customer fault. As a retired widow on a fixed income it is disappointing they wouldn't stand behind their work. If you're considering cabinet refacing, I suggest getting multiple quotes and clarifying warranty terms for delamination/peeling issues.1 star for the product failure and warranty experience.

Is it weird that I think of our cabinetmaker often?…read more I ponder this question a lot, usually, after I've reached in our exquisite soft-close kitchen cabinet for an item and have taken a step back to admire the gorgeousness of our kitchen remodel. I think about how grateful I am that we hired Joseph as our cabinetmaker. Not only is he a kindly man and a pleasure to work with, he brought with him mad skills and years of expertise. He made excellent suggestions about the design and function of the kitchen, was attuned to the smallest details, generous with his time and professionalism, and his fees are very reasonable for the quality of his work. He offers custom cabinetry, pre-fab cabinets, or what we chose, sort of a mix-and-match customized option with pre-fab cabinetry. The quality is excellent, the wood is not at all cheap nor flimsy, but seems to be very durable and long-lasting. I also learned a new contractor's term due to Joseph's work. It was uttered by our appliances delivery man. He was so sure that our appliances were not going to fit in the spaces provided. Lo and behold, the appliances slid in perfectly! The guy was duly impressed and stated that he almost never sees such precise TOLERANCES. As such, there are no gaping spaces around all of our appliances, no fallen crumbs into the black-hole crevasse that usually resides next to the stove. The cabinetry is perfectly precise, unified with the appliances and countertops, and just so pretty. All of this is to say, that I highly recommend Pacific Cabinetry and yeah, I'll probably be standing in our kitchen for years to come still appreciating all Joseph's hard work. ***FYI-- his correct website is https://www.pacificcabinets.net. I don't believe it's the one they currently have listed here: pacificcabinetsnc.com that has seemingly hijacked his listing ****

Nonetheless, our contact person Madeleine and her crew came out to assess our foundation and cracks and some mold from the humidity in the crawlspace. In the end we went with mold remediation, a sump pump, new vapor barrier, joist lifts, and air sealing to keep out the creepy crawlies. Big ticket expense, but when compared to the competition, we went with them because of the thoroughness with the estimate interview and the willingness to answer all of our questions, they were also well-spoken of on other review sites including a popular large community message board, and the price was pretty comparable. Also, the crew was very good. My only ding would be was not putting the items in the crawlspace back in the order that it was originally, which saved space. But to add to their credit, we have one additional project that needs to be done outside of Little Corner's scope and the new company took a look at Little Corner's work and said "They did a very good job, this is how we would have done it." I think that speaks well of them as a whole. They may not be the biggest company, but they are professional, kind, and diligent about their work. Thank you, Madeleine and crew.
