After a lot of thought and tears, I felt I needed to share my story so that no other women go through what I did. There were a few issues during installation, but it was all handled. After the crew had left, I noticed that a mirror that was mounted on the back of a closet door was missing. I looked everywhere that made sense (and a few places that didn't) and simply couldn't find it. I sent a text to the sales person asking him to check with the installers. What followed would have been comical except that it wasn't handled with humor or any type of good will. Within a span of two hours, I received a call, followed by the installation crew showing back up on my doorstep, followed by the sales person on my doorstep, followed by the owner showing up. All over a $40 mirror. Which the installers removed from the door and placed on a shelf above my head. White framed mirror, white shelf. I couldn't see it. Sounds like great customer service, right? Except that wasn't what was happening. The crew tells the salesperson that I accused them of stealing it which NEVER happened. The salesperson relays this to the owner who then feels it his duty to come to my home and berate me. Yes, you read that correctly. He showed up on my doorstep visibly angry. I stupidly thought he was there to apologize for the mix up. Instead he stood in my foyer and verbally assaulted me for calling his crew liars. When denied saying that, he screamed "are you saying my son is lying?" Twice. At that point I told him to leave my home. Since he was still yelling, I had to do it twice. I am a 63 year old woman with health issues. Not that that really matters. No one, regardless of age should be made to feel afraid in their own home. The fact that he felt ok doing that to an older woman says a lot about the owner. It took me a few minutes to get over the shock of what had happened. Then the shaking started, followed by tears of rage. How dare a man do that? I was sick with the idea that I just paid someone to treat me that badly. The saddest part is that I'm fairly certain he doesn't see how many lines he crossed and probably never will.

She laughed at a news article did I had posted in a local chat room warning that the hospitals in Dallas were having to triage Covid patients. After I contacted her via private message, and let her know who I was and how disappointed I was in her actions, she publicly disparaged me under a post attacking me for closing down comments on a post about getting the Covid vaccine. So if I had done a review on the first install it 100% would have been 1 star. Apparently I had…read morereceived defective carpet, so it would pull out easily and also the carpet had a pattern stain that you could clearly see once vacuumed. It also had several gaps where the seams met. The installers assured me this was normal and that the seams would fade. I was shocked considering the price we paid for the carpet. Also, I asked a few experts in the area and they also agreed this was not correct at all. Well two weeks later and it honestly looked worse. So I called them back. They "fixed" the seams they said and left. I didn't have a chance to look before they left as I was on a work call. I checked shortly after and same deal. I ended up calling my project manager at Sunn and she came right out to check. Well lo and behold, she immediately could tell something was wrong even though the installers assured me twice that everything was ship shape. She had me send over a piece of the carpet to get tested by the vendor. That ended up being about a one month waiting period. The vendor got back to me and agreed that the carpet was defective and offered a full replacement at zero charge. They were extremely compassionate and empathetic, so it made me feel much better since the installers made me feel like I was going nuts. So we got the second install done on the carpet and it is MUCH better. There are still issues at a couple seams, so I am not 100% thrilled. But it did take care of the major issues we had. To be honest, I was pretty surprised the whole time that the GM or owner of Sunn carpet didn't follow up on this at all. The only thing that saved them from a one star review was their project manager to be honest. So I am so appreciative of her help in all of this. But I do think that better quality control would help this company a lot. Also, a follow-up after install to ensure customer satisfaction should be standard. But it is what it is. I would be a bit hesitant to use them for my next fooring project given the circumstances. But at least it wasn't left in the state of the first install. DM me if you would like the first or second install pics. If I posted the first install pics here I think it would severely hurt this business, so I refrained from that.

He gave us samples to take home and see how they looked in the house, then came out and measured everything. The guy who delivered the wood wasn't the fastest unfortunately, but the guys who installed it were great. They worked hard and consistently, not slacking off or messing around with their time. They were economical with their cuts, so there was still quite a bit of wood left over which I kept in case of damage in the future. They cleaned everything up very well and left the home looking great.
