We just had our countertops installed with Sublime CS and from beginning to end they were awesome! They helped me find the exact quartz I have always wanted and then found me a comparing quartz that was almost half the cost - yea!!! From ordering to installation took less than 3 weeks and in the middle of COVID recovery period as everyone is so busy I think that alone deserves 5 stars. These guys are the only ones in town to sport a surveying laser to precision measure even the oddest cuts and our curved countertops fit like a dream!! The installation technician they sent was AMAZING! He fixed several issues I thought were unfixable and we were SO impressed with him. A few hiccups along the way, which is just the way life goes sometimes, but the true measure of an outstanding company is the way they handle any problems.. and they were wonderful. The materials in the store are great. Customer service initially on ideas etc were great. Great options on other stone and glass The layouts were sent etc and we got what we asked for. My biggest complaint is scheduling the installation. They give you a day, but will not give a rough time until the day of and you must call them. Note: make sure the person is on hold before letting out the exasperated sigh. Suggest you guys at least call/text day of to narrow the time. Installer called ahead as time was approaching. Small job and done in 30 minutes. However there was no clean up of the sawdust where they cut to fit on the counter or wipe-down of the countertop Not sure it was a great price but it looks great read more

If you are shopping for granite/quartz (or any type of countertop) there are lots of places to choose from. I would think twice about using Sublime Custom Stone. Their customer service is anything but that. I initially went to look at a remnant piece for a Jack and Jill restroom. I met with the owner's son, Greg, who initially was nice and helpful. I selected a remnant from their outdoor inventory which has NO shade from the hot sun. Greg quoted me a price for the remnant that included fabrication and installation; however, I wanted to confirm my selection with my husband since he is the one who was working with the cabinets. Three days later, my husband and I went back to sublime to verify our selection, finalize the deal, and schedule a time for installation. We entered Sublime and found nobody inside the store so we exited the store and went to the outdoor area where they have the remnants and slabs of granite/quartz. We noticed Greg was with another couple and waited patiently so he could assist the customer. After 20 minutes of waiting in the hot sun and not being greeted or a simple..."I will be with you momentarily" or "someone will be with you"....no acknowledgment so we decided to leave. The same week my husband called Sublime to speak with Greg about the purchase and installation. A lady answered and stated he was busy with a customer. My husband provided the lady with his contact information and she assured him Greg would gladly return his telephone call. My husband NEVER received a telephone call from Greg. So my husband gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy or the message was never relayed. So we both went back the following weekend. A different lady greeted us at the door and she so happened to be Greg's wife. Once we gave her details of how we wanted to proceed with getting the remnant and installation done and finalized she assured us that Greg would call us on Monday. Monday morning rolls around and neither one of us got a returned telephone call from Greg or anyone at Sublime. Nope, not even the following day or week. NON-RESPONSIVE!!!!!!!! Granted, our project was small (and perhaps that was the issue) but we are in the process of having two other restrooms, our entire kitchen, bar and laundry room done within the next month. No project is too small when you are a local business. I will share the details of my experience with Sublime to other neighbors who normally ask for business recommendations from reputable businesses based on previous experience. So if anyone is considering using Sublime for countertops...I would look elsewhere! SUBLIME WILL WASTE YOUR VALUABLE TIME AND GAS! SUBLIME HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WE'VE EXPERIENCED IN SAN ANTONIO!!! I normally do not like writing reviews but felt compelled to do so because of the lack of respect for a potential client. We gave Sublime numerous opportunities to fulfill their end of the deal and Sublime never did with a simple telephone call or gesture to acknowledge a customer who is waiting in the hot sun to give them business. read more

I am amazed at a 3 star review. I would have given a 1/4 star if possible just to make sure it was clear. This place is so unprofessional that they should find new employment. They sent us a quote via email, we responded with acceptance in kind and when we tried to provide the down payment they claimed the price on our quote sheet was different than their system alluding that we doctored it. Then the supposed manager, the wife of the owner, because she likely cannot find employment elsewhere, admitted that the former employee that quoted was fired. OK. Except they did not own the mistake. Did not offer to work it out. Instead tried to hide it and suggest we were trying to cheat them. I am leaving a negative review and not because of the work but because of illegal business practices. I went looking for a remnant for a table top and this company had previously done work for me about five years ago; they did a kitchen island, my nephew's kitchen counter top and bathroom vanity. They also did a beautiful top for a bombe chest I have. With this great history I called on them once again. Jacob (was exceptionally nice) and another young lady with him assisted me while looking at remnants. They both went behind closed doors and worked a bid. I was told it would be the same price regardless of the remnant. I then went back several days later and tried to find the same piece I liked. I selected a marble piece and this time another dark haired young lady was there and went to look at my selection after Jacob and I went inside. I extracted my check book to write a check for the amount they quoted me. This girl came back inside and said this was an "exotic" piece and the price went up seventy dollars. This was in direct contradiction to what the other sales associate said. Jacob and I went back outside after I refused to pay an additional seventy dollars and I selected another piece. I wrote a check and paid in full and they told me Sean would come out to measure the table. He did come out and was as always very nice and professional. They told me the piece would be ready on Friday and on Thursday I received a second invoice online with a "docusign" feature. The price had escalated from 200 to 300. I was appalled and called Sublime right away. The same dark haired girl who had escalated the price previously had done so again claiming that the piece had to be "hand cut." I told them that they had already know the dimensions of the piece when I wrote the check and paid in full. Either fulfill the original invoice or return my check and we will cancel the purchase. Several minutes later I received an invoice for the original amount that said "paid in full." I called on Friday as instructed and this same dark haired girl answered the phone. She said she would check to see the status of the piece. She never returned my call and after waiting for about forty-five minutes I drove over there. The original sales associate who had helped he first time apologized for them not returning my call and had a worker take my table top to the car. The same dark haired girl who refused to return my call was there assisting another customer and ignored me. This practice of "bait and switch" was outlawed years ago. read more
