Alex's shop picked it up at the nearby dealer for a nominal fee and turned it into a beautiful vanity! Everything about my experience with his uncle's business was positive. The secretary up front is delightful. His uncle, the owner, is very sharp. The fabrication area is clean and well lit unlike a lot of their competitors whose shops I visited looking for remnants and estimates. When I see a work area looking that squared away I know the fabricators put pride into their work and do it safely. Very happy with how this project turned out! It was a slow start. I had called Jaymes and left a…read moremessage telling him about the project. It took him a month to return my call but that didn't bother me because anything construction related is so much in demand right now, I was just happy to get a call back. Plus it worked out timing wise because when he returned my call, I was ready for the countertop portion of my project. Jaymes was quick to come over and take measurements and he recommend a few places for me to look at slabs. The next day, I had a slab picked out and he sent me the estimate. Once I paid the deposit, he had the countertops installed within 2.5 weeks. The turnaround time amazes me because I was expecting it to take at least a mont, again because of all the construction needs right now. I was not completely happy with the installation crew. They told me they were going to have to make a seams down the middle of the counter and backsplashes, which surprised me because Jaymes had told me the seams would only be in the corners. But after speaking to Jaymes about not being satisfied with multiple visible seams, he was able to accommodate my requests and put the seams in the corners. Also, the installation crew dented a cabinet while they were installing. The handles that were installed later covered the dent up so, no harm. Overall, I am very happy with the quick turnaround and the quality of the work. Jaymes did a great job lining up the grain patterns on the slabs so the backsplash matched the direction of the countertop. I would definitely use Stone Creation again and Jaymes was very easy to work with.

He, along with his experienced crew, was able to come up with and carry out a restoration of our place to where it looked better than before. Howard is organized and his attention to detail and customer service is second to none...he was able to communicate with my 90 year old mother and bring her comfort during each step of the rebuild. Howard come out, removed the water heater, took care of flue and feed issues and rebuilt the the floor framing before replacing the floor itself. The work was outstanding and at a fair price. We've lived in our 1980s era home for nearly 20 years & our cave of a kitchen has always bothered…read moreus. There was a needless wall cutting off the space from the living room & a dropped ceiling with ugly florescent lighting, but no other structural reason for the dropped ceiling. We wanted to get rid of the wall & dropped ceiling & have a new ceiling in line with the rest of the living room. My husband toyed with the idea of doing it himself, but I was concerned with the electrical work (a switch needed to be moved from the eliminated wall, can lights & pendants installed). Several contractors never even returned our call asking for estimates; one came & gave a reasonable estimate, then called back & doubled his price. Paul came out, gave a reasonable estimate & said he could start the job the next week. He started demo work on Monday & the job was finished on Friday! And that included him bringing in other guys for drywall & finishing work on the new ceiling. We're going to finish off the work we can (painting & hanging new light fixtures) to save a little money, but we were thrilled with the work from Black Rock; would definitely call them again in the future!

Originally, I left a 5-star review because John installed two toilets for us at a reasonable price…read more He did forget to caulk them, but he immediately came back and fixed the oversight. Unfortunately, one of the toilets has never functioned properly--it constantly runs and struggles to flush. Despite John returning several times, the problem was never resolved. We later hired John for other odd jobs, including installing a garbage disposal and fixing water backup into our dishwasher. As always, he was punctual and friendly. However, the garbage disposal was installed incorrectly, which caused new problems. He also accidentally caused some minor floor barrier damage while working in that area. To his credit, he offered to repair the damage right away, but I declined because I appreciated his willingness to help. The next day, when the water backup issue continued, we called him back. To our surprise, he asked for MORE money to revisit the SAME problem he had originally been paid to fix. Even after paying again, the issue still wasn't fixed. We ultimately had to hire another company, who immediately discovered that John had not removed the knockout plug or connected the dishwasher properly--something very basic for that type of installation. Overall, while John is personable and punctual, I cannot recommend him due to repeated problems, additional charges for unresolved issues, and ultimately needing to pay another professional to correct mistakes. Seems like an overall good guy trying to make a living but he needs to take his customers into better consideration if he would like to keep them.

They were not clear with how our counter would be installed. It was badly cut and badly arranged…read more The son Ryan did a poor job measuring our area for the counter and he never informed us we could use their software to correctly arrange our slabs for our kitchen counter and backsplash so that they would match and look seamless. The slabs do not match and have a poor continuity. One of the seams between the slabs, because of the poor cuts/measurements, is large enough to fit a coin between the two slabs. This particular seam is the backsplash behind my stove so not easily hidden. Their solution, rather than using a new slab, was to just add extra caulk. When we expressed our concerns to the father owner Steve, his response was to tell us they had been in business for years and did the Governor's house years ago. Perhaps they would have done a good job for us if I was the Governor, but instead they did less than adequate work. Also, they did not put the hours for the sink faucets in the place where we wanted them. They did not ask for instruction on where to place the holes, even though we were in the house when they were making them. I had to have them come to our house several times to correctly caulk the seams. The technician did a sort of ok job. But the counters were never installed to our satisfaction. When we voiced our concerns Steve and Ryan simply dismissed us and our concerns. My husban

Floor Services Install gave me a response within 5 minutes of my online request for bids on the project. They texted me with a quote and the time they could come to complete the installation the following day. The job was to take out the existing washer and dryer and replace them with new machines. I didn't know that the house was wired for electric and that modifications needed to be made to fit both the new dryer and the house for use with natural gas. These pros saw what needed to be done, explained the process to me, and went right to work with professionalism, good humor and in a timely manner. Javier and Alfredo arrived at the time we had agreed upon the prior day, switched machines, found parts for the modifications, and quickly returned to make laundry magic happen. When they came back from Home Depot they showed me the receipt and the parts, so I could see that they had purchased everything necessary to install the machines. On top of doing an excellent job, they were personable, professional and genuinely wonderful people. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost for parts and labor.
