Call before going. I've made 2 separate trips here, driving from 30 minutes away, for then to be closed in a random Saturday (Not a holiday weekend). After reading the other reviews maybe it's a good thing I didn't even get a chance to do business with them. It saddens me to have to warn people against working with Ray, the owner of The Tile and Marble Gallery because my husband and I enjoyed working with Kelly and think she's a very nice person working for an extremely volatile manager. Please be careful and choose a more ethical store for your needs! Here's why you should shop elsewhere: My husband and I placed a very large, multi-room tile order for a home remodel in May 2019. We worked with Kelly on the tile purchase. Kelly mentioned that we could also order some related waterproofing and shower system parts through Kerdi/Schluter but needed her manager and the store owner, Ray to walk us through the process. We were hesitant to order everything in one go, especially the /Schluter systems without having finishing the demo and they are quite expensive. Ray assured us that ALL of these products were returnable and refundable and he was happy to give us a small discount to help complete the order, so there was no risk. This turned out to not be true. We picked up the full tile and Kerdi order a few weeks later in June 2019 and realized in early August 2019 that we had received one incorrect Kerdi part and needed to downsize on a second part, totaling about a $700 exchange in parts and Ray verbally stated we would be getting a refund for the price difference due to needing the smaller size. We brought the parts in and Ray let us know he'd take care of it by the following week. Ray was busy that day, so I recapped this in an e-mail to him, his staff replied agreeing. We came in as instructed and the parts weren't there but we were told they would be in soon. No big deal. We waited nearly a month and then just asked if we could get a refund because we needed them for our remodel. We were immediately told they were suddenly available, but when I picked them up Ray was insane. Ray literally screamed at me in front of staff and customers that he was doing me a favor and I should be charged a restocking fee and I wouldn't be getting a refund. I was stunned. I just said I didn't want to get in a fight, I was under the impression (and have email evidence) that I was doing an easy part exchange with a refund for the difference. Ray was so aggressive he came out from the counter area and yelled as I hurriedly left. I was honestly scared and have no idea why he suddenly became irate, maybe because I wanted $80-$100 in refund? I need more tile, but I certainty won't be back after this scary experience with a crazy man. read more

Shady place. Gave owner measurements for my bathroom and the owner helped me size my order. After completion I had nearly 50% in unopened/unused tiles. Asked to return these as we used a neutral color which could easily be resold. Owner smiled through her teeth and told me it was all my responsibility. Will never recommend this place and can't recommend against enough. Only gave one star because 0 stars is unavailable. read more

This store has a very good collection, but do your homework before purchasing. We found the exact tile we wanted at another local tile store. Each tile we purchased was at least $1.25/sf less expensive for the exact tiles. In addition, their installation pricing is insane. Look for a local installer and save yourself monies. I wanted to turn my Ikea utility cart into a kitchen island by adding a marble or granite top to the wooden surface. I had hoped to find a sample or remnant that could be cut to fit the size of my cart and visited several showrooms with no luck. One business pointed out marble or granite would be too heavy for the cart and recommended the Tile & Marble Gallery and said they were good people who could find me a solution. Yes indeed! Their showroom is full of beautiful tile, granite and marble in every combination. They suggested a porcelain tile slab that looks like marble, perfect for my island top. Though my project was modest, the staff treated me like I was their most valued customer, and they were soon scouring their warehouse for just the right piece. They then cut the piece to my specifications and wrapped it carefully and -- voila! -- I now have a stylish rolling kitchen island with a beautiful, smooth surface for any prep work. I feel like a real chef in my own kitchen thanks to the good people at Tile & Marble Gallery and will be back for my next project. read more

Dont' trust the reviews. Apparently helping customers when there is only one other customer in the store is a problem for these people. 1 person looking, 3 employees, and we got ZERO help. My husband and I have used the Tile and Marble Gallery for kitchen and bathroom products in our first home and now, 8 or so years later are using them again for our new home. I found Tile and Marble originally on the internet and we went there and had an amazing designer talk to us about what kind of look we wanted and was able to help us pick out absolutely beautiful tile in a price point we could afford. Here we are now with another project and we went back...and again the amazing designers there spent time showing us a lot of options to choose from. I'm not a designer...I need someone with that designer eye to help me create the look that I can visualize in my mind. We tried some of the other warehouse type tile stores and were overwhelmed by what we saw and received little assistance. Both times I've been to Tile and Marble I've been so appreciative of the customer service...the designers learn what you're interested in and then start showing you different selections until you can narrow it down. The atmosphere of the store seems more like a gallery than a warehouse and I appreciated that too. I don't think I'd ever go anywhere else for tile. read more
