While we got quotes and met a number of contractors and construction companies, Carlos-Waypoint home improvement was most professional of all from the inception--providing a clear explanation of services based on the scope, transparent in dealings and meeting the timelines. Carlos is mindful of customer time and an astute professional who doesn't exaggerate and then reduces the price quote. It is apparent that Carlos has significant years of experience in remodeling the bathrooms, tile work, replacing or putting vanities or replacing lighting and faucets. He could easily draw a rough design for our 4 bathrooms, assisted in suggesting the right material for remodeling without focusing much on his own interest of increasing scope of work. Carlos and his team did a phenomenal job with lighting, tile work, putting the vanities and paint. During the work, there was leakage in one of the bathroom and being a licensed water restoration expert, Carlos was easily able to spot the problem and took appropriate steps fixing the problem making us comfortable as compared to some of the other organizations who like to panic the customer first and adopt unfair means. I would highly recommend Carlos- waypoint home improvement to anyone who is looking for skilled services , honest dealings and getting the work completed within timelines and agreed budget.

I've been working with them for nearly nine years, and they've helped me with countless interior and exterior projects. His guy Alex is, without question, the best I've ever worked with when it comes to drywall and painting--his attention to detail is unmatched. They're always on time, respectful, leave everything spotless, and approach problems with a can-do attitude. But what matters most to me is the trust I have in Robinson and his team. That kind of reliability is rare, and I'm incredibly grateful for it.

Disappointing Experience - Contractors Beware…read more I am sharing our experience so that other contractors and small business owners can be cautious when doing business with this individual. My husband, a licensed and insured contractor, was hired to perform construction work at this individual's property. Throughout the project, my husband invested his time, labor, and materials into completing the agreed-upon work. Unfortunately, the situation became extremely difficult when the homeowner refused to pay the remaining balance, prevented my husband from returning to complete the work, and threatened to call the police if he returned to the property. My husband also performed additional work for which he was never compensated. Despite his efforts, we were left dealing with unpaid labor, materials, and the stress of trying to recover money owed for services provided. As a small business, situations like this are financially damaging. Contractors have families, employees, expenses, and obligations, and they deserve to be treated fairly and compensated for their work. I am sharing this experience to encourage other contractors to protect themselves with detailed written agreements, documented payments, and clear expectations before accepting work.

We definitely recommend Bruce and his team…read more We were searching for a tile contractor for more than a year, because (1) our bathtub wall from 1935 used non-standard size tiles and no one could source it, and (2) because most contractors said our shower stall needs a full gutting, which we were not ready for. We love our old house and wanted to preserve its charm as much as we could. Bruce was knowledgeable, respectful of our house, offered us multiple options so we are comfortable with the work. Bruce was the only one who found the tile that works. Raul took the plan to perfection. The tile work and grout repair work were seamless. He made sure that everything was leak-free and looked great. Even his demolition was quiet -- I had a remote meeting in the room across the hall and the demo noise did not interfere. He also cleaned up after their work very well. The work site was completely cleaned out. Thank you Bruce and Raul. We will come to you for any future tile work for sure.

Carlos Munoz, owner of The Paint Company, has completed many indoor and outdoor painting projects…read morefor us over the last 17 years. The latest project, in preparation to sell our house within the next year, involved removing wallpaper; a lot of patching from old leaks, stains, damages, and nail holes; repainting many "colorful" rooms; and, most importantly, repainting all our built-in kitchen and family room cabinets and drawer fronts. This was time consuming, meticulous and very detailed work, especially since the original paint finish was lacquer (much more difficult to paint over). We remained in the house during this 2 week process which I'm sure would have been easier for him if we'd vacated the space. He and his crew did an amazing job on every level. They worked as quickly as possible without compromising quality, they protected all interior cabinet contents from dust and paint drips, they made access to certain areas relatively convenient (microwave, sink, fridge, etc.). They even worked on Saturdays, began at 7am on some mornings and also on the morning of July 4 so they we could get our kitchen back sooner rather than later. They cleaned as much as they could and put all their gear and supplies neatly out of our way at the end of each day. Carlos is very diligent about communicating so we're all on the same page about colors, finishes, schedules, etc., so there were no surprises or re-do's! They were also very tolerant of our dogs - the little one who thinks he's a tough guy and had to let them know it every morning, and the sweet one who sat and stared at them relentlessly as they tried to eat their lunch in peace! They even let the dogs in and outside if I wasn't home. Please consider hiring Carlos for your next painting project, large or small. He is honest, hard-working and produces high quality results. You won't be disappointed.
